tldr; Stay far far away from the service department and I urge you to stay away from BMW. Their cars will leak fluids constantly, and they will easily cost double with all the maintenance repairs needed. I've been going here for over 15 years and the Service department has really changed. Service at the dealership is always more expensive, but it was a better experience. Not any longer. Over the years, they have gotten rid of topping off fluids for free. They only cover a Lyft one way. They now charge a 3% credit card fee. They have tried to scam me twice on so called "service promotions". They NEVER apologize when it's clear they were in the wrong. They are constantly wasting my valuable time when I take my car in. This isn't a luxury experience any more. It's nickel and dime-ing and blatant efforts to scam the customer in desperate attempts at a money grab. I was in the market for a new car....I briefly considered another BMW, but so glad I passed on BMW and Weatherford. I sincerely urge others to stay away.

Weatherford BMW of Berkeley is the worst dealership in the Bay Area. I went in for a simple oil change and they suggested me with a $335 "engine diagnosis" because my check engine light was on. Two days later, they quoted me $1,600 to fix a sensor. I passed because it is too expensive. Two days later, after filling my gas tank, the light magically turned off. Just a loose gas cap. They charged me $335 for absolutely nothing. Total scam. Stay far away.

If you're in the Market for a new/used Mini Cooper, check out the dealership and ask for Shuan Avant. Made the buying experience very easy and relaxed. From test drive, to financing to driving off a dream car (used!) for my daughter the same day. The car was in immaculate and in excellent condition.

I have leased several BMWs from different dealerships throughout the Bay Area. This is by far the #1 WORST dealership, right up there with Sonnen BMW. The sales staff are liars and flat out rude. This dealership is very funny about listing what they consider "new" vehicles with high miles up to 10k miles. They said it is new. Really??? Check out their new listings on their website, most have high miles to be considered "new". This is a dealership you can't trust. DO NOT PATRONIZE this dealership! I recommend Concord BMW or Niello BMW - friendly staff, cleaner facility, and better customer service from both sales and service hands down! read more

We've always had a fantastic experience at this dealership. Recently, Joe Combs came through for us. We recently purchased a BMW from this location six months ago. Since then, our lives have changed a little, and the need for a little more space was clearly felt. Joe not only found us the perfect 2016 diesel wagon, he was able to really help us with the trade in price and financing to make sure we could transition (much earlier than expected) with little pain to our bank accounts. He was honest, patient and extremely professional throughout the entire process. As much as I hope we don't NEED to go back for another car (ha), I'll be sure to look him up again when that day comes! Thanks Joe! read more

I too, wish I had read the reviews. ANDY, my salesperson, sold me a Used Volvo when I was NINE MONTHS PREGNANT. You would have thought he would have some morals or ethics, but no. This car has been brought in for service and repair so many times since its purchase I have lost count. ANDY ASSURED ME THE CAR WAS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. HE LIES TO PREGNANT WOMEN. THESE GUYS ARE DISGUSTING. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. read more

I'm pretty sure what happened when I went to Weatherford was COMPLETELY ILLEGAL. Not to mention, traumatizing as a first time car buyer. I was in the process of signing the papers on a 2009 certified pre-owned car that had been a dealership owned car for 6 months. My dealer assured me it had never been in ANY accidents and had a spotless Car Fax report. She had "no idea" why it was such a good deal, she thought that they had made a mistake with the price and that I should make a move while it was still cheap. So, I was signing the papers on the car. Half-way through the packet there were maintenance records on the car since it had been serviced in-house. I read through them and discovered that over $14,000.00 worth of repairs had been done, replacing the whole left side and front of the car. What had happened was, since it was a dealership owned car, they repaired all of the damages in-house and didn't report it as an accident to keep the Car Fax report clean. As I understand it, any accident with damages over $500.00 MUST be reported to the police BY LAW. The dealer saw that I had noticed this issue and brought the manager over who tried to bargain with me. I didn't want the completely damaged car and walked away traumatized and almost tricked. I will never go back nor will I ever buy a BMW. You would think that BMW would have classier, more honest sales people. read more

Another review wishing that Yelp would allow for a "ZERO STAR" review. Took my 2001 M3 Convertible in for a service and to fix a problem associated with the steering pump. First, they suggested that I replace the hose to the steering pump, but when that didn't remedy the situation, "BRIAN" my service advisor suggested me to change the pump as well. I purchased an extended warranty thru a BMW dealership at the cost of $3800, just for moments like this. Brian had the audacity to lie to me and tell me that the warranty company would not cover the steering pump. Stupidly, I just paid for the repairs. ($2000 in all...) A few days later, I called the warranty company to bitch about why they wouldn't cover the part. Turns out that they DO cover the part, and they had no record of the dealership ever calling in to make a claim. With his little white lie, "BRIAN" cost me $1000 out of pocket for something that would have been paid for by the warranty company. What a jerkoff. Fittingly, when I called Weatherford back, he was away on a weeklong vacation. Needless to say, the manager bore the full brunt of my verbal lashing, and tried to make amends for something that should never have happened in the first place. This is on top of my first experience with them and their sales force, when I was inquiring about an M5, and they asked me if I could afford such an "expensive" car. I pointed to my Aston Martin in the parking lot, and took my business to another dealership. read more

Would give less than one. Leased a car here 3 years ago. Every single experience has been miserable. Here's a letter I just wrote to them: One of the things my car was in for in addition to regular service was the trunk- it didn't open/close as it should. The guy that I first saw when I dropped the car off said, "Maybe I can fix this right here" and re-attached the bottom of black tubing to something. After if was taken into service, Richard called and said that he tried the trunk 12 times and it "worked just fine". Well, today when I went to get my golf clubs out, the trunk wasn't functioning properly again. The black tubing isn't secure and came off again. I would like this fixed properly the next time I'm in. This is reminiscent of when I drove all the way over there to have my left turn signal fixed only. Then drove all the way back to Alameda, to find that it wasn't fixed at all. I'm so tired of wasting my time at Weatherford. Every time I come there I get screwed somehow and I'm furious. From the moment I bought my car from the crazy Grace Wong to interaction with a manager there shortly after who threatened me, to Richard trying to sell me on $900 worth of tires/service when my lease is up next month and I purchased the $1,000 wear and tear policy. He made it seem like I couldn't get the tires or alignment done at Big O. He did not have my best concern in mind. I do NOT like being taken advantage of. Who is the manager at this location? Please advise them: I would like to file an official complaint and won't hesitate to post a FULL review of every experience I've had with this place on Yelp. I see Weatherford only has 2 stars, and I wonder why this location doesn't step it up!!! There is little to no customer service and hasn't been for 3 years. Not cool. read more

Horrible experience. Lousy service. I scheduled a test drive with Roberto Roy and he left as I was walking into the dealership (we and his co workers saw him, even called him and he didn't return). One of his co-workers was kind enough to take me out for the test drive. I gave the sales guy the car details I was looking for and he said he or Roberto would get back to me after 3pm the next day...nothing. I followed up with an email to Roberto and all I got was his canned reponse,,,"Again, thanks for choosing Weatherford BMW. I'm looking forward to earning your business!" Well you didn't and I will never recommend or consider going back to your dealership again! read more

Dishonest. As in flat out liars. Said a used car I was testing had never been in an accident - when I was signing docs to purchase the car it turns out it HAD been in an accident. Also double charged my credit card 2K and took their sweet time reversing the charge after I called to complain. Did they think I wouldn't notice an extra 2K charge? DO NOT BUY A CAR AT WEATHERFORD. I had a very specific, hard to find model in mind and went ahead with this purchase anyway. If I had been looking for a new car or a more available used I wouldn't have gone ahead with the purchase after learning it had been in an accident and that the folks there are dishonest liars. This is my 5th BMW purchase in the Bay Area and here's how I'd rank the dealerships: #1 Sonnen, #2 Peter Pan #3 SF and #4 BY FAR Weatherford. They give BMW a bad name. read more

Worst BMW dealer. I made an appointment because my engine was having some issues. Upon dropping it off, they threatened me if they couldn't find anything I would be on the hook to pay for their time. This was with my car barely a year old. What kind of customer service is that? A poor representation of BMW. My car was still under warranty, so I was like eff you I"ll go to another BMW place where I know they won't try and screw me over. I would NOT ever come back here nor leave my BMW with them. Poor customer service!!! read more
WARNING! DONT GO HERE! Worst dealer ever! I really should read the reviews before taking my car to this bmw dealership! Horrible service, almost everyone is rude! They lost my key and didn't tell me right away. I dropped my car on Thursday late afternoon and expecting them to call me regarding the car. No call on Friday. On Saturday I got a voice mail said that they lost my key and could not do any work until order a new key which is on Monday. Wednesday the car was ready to be pick up. To be very honest, I'm not comfortable to have my old car key floating around somewhere and someone could enter into my car. Now I have to live with it because of Weatherford BMW dealer. I have a fee that I need to pay. I'm willing to pay if they didn't lost they key and I need to wait another couple day to pick up my car. When I asked them to waive the fee, the service advisor was very upset and rude. I think he need to learn how to deal with costumer better. It was their fault that they lost my key and YES they need to make the costumer fell better but instead try to make everything worst by raising his voice with his attitude. Since he could not do anything about it anyway, I insist to talk to manager, I don't even bother to talk to this guy! BTW, I search online and other bmw dealer offer them to re-key the whole lock system. I only asked to waive $200 fee and he was really upset about it and didn't think about the costumer frustration and feeling. He did apologize but his attitude was horrible. His apologized didn't match with his attitude. At the end the manager waive the fee with no question. In my opinion, since the service advisor cannot really do anything or make any decision, if the costumer want to talk the manager, the service advisor should let the costumer talk to the manager instead try to solve the problem by raising the voice to the costumer. NEVER GO BACK HERE!! read more

We enjoyed buying our car here, but every moment past signing the check has been a disaster. We bought our SUV new, and paid with cash. Ali made the sales experience very good. Low pressure, and somehow we were happy despite going over our budget. We've been in for checkups, etc. And post-sale is just really, really bad. It's disappointing to pay that much for a premium product and get treated so horribly after you buy it. Several people in my network have said the same - and have gone to other dealers. The owner should take note; this is costing him a lot of money. Don't take my word for it - notice the 2-star average for Weatherford BMW. read more

Why didn't I read these reviews before going into Weatherford BMW? rude, condescending, liars- nuf said. All three of the men I have dealt with have been HORRIFIC. They wrote the book on the "sleazy car salesmen" stereotype. on the flip side, Jenn Bishop was straight forward and helpful (she entered the numbers and gave me an answer)...unfortunately she came after two bozo's had already pissed me off with their lies. Why can't buying a car be an honest transaction (this is how much money I have, this is how much the car costs? like every other retail transaction?) Why does it have to be a ridiculous shell game? read more

Weatherford is str8t garbage. Avoid this pretentious dealership like the plague. I took my car into them one morning cuz the oil light kept coming on and my warranty was about to expire. The service attendant tells me to just add a liter of oil, but I insist on a check up. After 3 hrs they tell me the car is done, but the work order invoice is blank and when I get to the car it's covered in water so I have to dry it myself to avoid the water spots. As I'm leaving the dealer the oil light comes back on so I'm like WTF!? I take it to a different dealer and they tell me I've got an oil leak that they fixed. So not only is Weatherford incompetent they're deceitful. And to top things off Weatherford calls me a week later asking me to pay $150 for the work they did (i.e. spraying my car down with a water hose) since my warranty expired the day before I visited them. Talk about nickel-and-diming me! After handing them their azz with this info they haven't returned my call demanding my greenery. Weatherford can kiss my azz and they should kiss yours too. . read more

Can I give this place zero stars? I'm going to try, since Weatherford: 1] does not know the inventory 2] is not helpful to women 3] makes BMW drivers look bad. Hate you, Weatherford! I was willing to pay good money for a car that was on your lot, but because of bad service you don't get my $30k. So there. p.s. Yelp doesn't allow for Zero stars, so I've given them a healthy, single star. This is my being generous. read more
This is for the sales dept. only! I will never ever come back here and will be telling every person I can to avoid this place at all costs. Almost all there used and cpo cars are not in good shape, most with dings, paint chips, and minor damage. (I have looked at a lot cars from a lot of other dealers and the cars I've seen here both times that I have went are below par) As most other reviews here, they must think I'm an idiot and most people that walk through the door are as well. I was trying to get a used bmw there for awhile, but due to how much I owed on my car I wasn't able to! But finally I paid my car down and I knew about how much it was worth! So I went again to get a car! FAIL! So after being offered about 4K less than autotrader.com and what they offered a few months prior, I left, very angry! What a bunch of crooks and all the while them telling me that is all my vehicle was worth and no place would give me more. Well, lies lies lies! I got offered 5k more at two other local bmw dealers and got my new car that weekend. Maybe if you have no budget and unlimited funds and no trade in, these people are great to work with, but I have normal people problems to consider. So do not buy a car from them! EVER...AT ALL! read more

This place deserves ZERO STARS!!! My family purchased 2 BMW's from this dealership in one year. A CPO '02 330ci and a brand new '06 330i. The sales people at this dealership are horrible! I guess sales people get grumpy when they don't sell cars! The service however we received from our sales rep was Alan was great, but he has since left and moved to the Santa Rosa BMW due to all his customers and himself being very dissatisfied with Weatherford's service! After purchasing our bimmers, our cars were due for their usual service under the warranty that came with the cars. The service department is horrible and cannot make orders for parts if it meant saving their lives! Upon bringing in the '02 330ci, I complained to the service advisor that I noticed an oil leak at the bottom part of the engine. They said they'd have it examined. After getting the car back, service told me there was nothing wrong! I was still puzzled and worried about the leak that I started to bring my car to a reputable 3rd party german auto shop and they told me that the valve cover gasket was ripped and needed replacement!!! This is what was causing the oil leak at the bottom of the engine! I couldn't believe that something so simple was missed by weatherford's service department!! Another case was with the '06 330i. The car was brought it for it schedule maintenance service and brake service as well. Prior to bringing the car in there was NO PROBLEM WITH THE CAR. After receiving the car back from weatherford, the brakes were SQUEAKING like nails on a chalk board!!! I asked the service department what the heck they did to my car???? The car didn't sound like that prior to bringing it in. I demanded to have it fixed, and the service advisor told me it wasn't their problem!! Of course it's your problem you f*cking idiot!! I brought in my car with no damage and no noises and I received it back with brakes ready to destroy your ears! After bringing it back numerous times to have them fix what they ruined on my car, the squeaking never went away, and they couldn't figure out why it was squeaking so loudly, (note the brakes pads were plentiful). DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE if you want the service department to f*ck up everything in your car! It's ridiculous. I've since brought all the cars to be serviced at Fremont BMW instead and they have corrected all of the mess ups weatherford bmw had caused! read more

You know that stereotype of greaseball, sleazy car salesmen trying to nickel and dime you and making promises they have no intention of keeping? Yeah, that concept might have originated from the guys at Weatherford. Here I am, finally in a place to be able to afford a car to replace the beat-up early 90s Volvo I've been driving for years and I find the exact model (2004 Volvo V40) I'm looking for on AutoTrader.com. Autotrader tells me that the folks at Weatherford have the car, so I call up Weatherford and schedule a time to check out the car. Yes, I have penchant for station wagons since I grew up driving in them and then later actually driving them. I was introduced to a one of the salesmen who from the onset was way too aggressive yet couldn't tell me much about the car. I don't know a ton about cars so told him I had to think about it and would give him a call. I came back the next week with my girlfriend's dad who is a bonafide expert on cars and knows Volvos through and through. We both testdrove the car again and agreed it was worth getting into negotiations with the dealership. I ended up getting the car for about $500 less than listed after haggling with them for half an hour and getting a "deal" because I'm from San Francisco and the Senior Disgusting Slimeball came in and negotiated with me. The dealership gave me 48 hours to get it checked out by a mechanic who told me that while the car was in good condition, there were issues with the onboard computer that would require about $1000 worth of work. When I informed Weatherford about the issue they tried to say that the mechanic didn't know what he was talking about and that I got an extraordinary deal. When I persisted that they should pay for the repairs, I spoke to the Supreme Dirtbag on High who told me that because I negotiated such a "hard bargain" that I had "used up any goodwill" I may have had. He told me that I could take the car back in for a full refund, which they were contractually obligated to do, but were unwilling to stand by the product they sold me. I realize dealerships in general are breeding grounds for scumbags, but do yourself a favor and go somewhere else where the dealers a) know about the car they're selling you and b) stand by their product. read more

I brought my 5 series in on Monday, June 21 for what was apparently an issue with the battery and quoted a price of $300. After leaving it for the day, I received a call that 2 sensors were broken and the cost of repair was $2100. I wasn't particularly happy with the cost, but I needed my car back and said that if those repairs were going to correct any issues, then to go ahead. -$2100 (throttle sensor) I picked up the car on Tuesday....It broke down AGAIN on Wednesday (6/22) and it was the exact same problem that I had just paid $2100 to fix! When I called Steve Gass, the service advisor that assured me the repairs I had paid for a day earlier were all I needed, he told me that I had to pay for the tow back to the dealership. EVEN THOUGH THE CAR BROKE DOWN RIGHT AFTER I HAD PICKED IT UP FROM THEM!!! -$165 (tow) Upon getting the car back there. Steve proceeded to tell me that the original damaged part must have caused more issues, damaging the actuator as well. (FUNNY THAT THEY DIDN'T NOTICE THIS IN THE FIRST PLACE AND LET ME DRIVE HOME WITH IT). He stated that this was a labor intensive job and would cost another $1500, even though the labor was redundant to the work they had done earlier. -$1494 More (for whatever) Steve assured me that this was the true problem and that if they could keep the car for the weekend, they would have it ready by Monday (6/28). On Monday, I went to pick up the car, paid the $1500 (bringing my 7-day total to $3750) and went out to my car. This time, when I got in my car, the radio, navigation and i-drive screen were all ON (even though I had the keys in my hand and hadn't started it.) I went in to get the new service advisor, Brian Stegnor, and showed him the problem. He had no clue what was causing it, but even more concerning, no-one had even noticed this problem. This makes it hard to believe they even check out the cars in the first place after replacing whatever random parts they choose. After another hour waiting for the service tech to fix it, Brian assured me that the problem was resolved and I could take the car home. 2 minutes after pulling out of the dealership....the service engine light turns on and now they are telling me that a temperature gauge needs to be replaces. At this point, I don't know when I'll get the car back, but it definitely would have helped to bring it to a dealer/ mechanic who could have diagnosed the problems correctly in the first place. I have now had the car there for over 8 days and paid $3750 and they don't have a clue. It leads me to think I just paid for a lot of work that probably didn't even need to be done. AND WORSE OFF, not one person has apologized for the issues! All I want now is my car back and possibly an apology. I don't care that I probably paid for things that I don't need, and have incurred more problems from the work they've done. I EXPECT TO PAY HIGH PRICES WHEN I GO TO A DEALER, BUT I ALSO EXPECT THAT THOSE RATES ARE FOR QUALIFIED/ HONEST WORK!!! I just want to get my car home and to never go there again.... I will still take my car to a dealer, just not Weatherford..... read more
I got such a bad vibe from the sales people here. It's pretty obvious they were trying to play mind games with me. They kept asking me how much I'm willing to pay, or how much I can afford for a monthly payment on a car and would not budge from the subject, despite me telling them that I'm concerned about the sale price of the car, not my monthly payment (Rule #1 in car negotiations: Don't let them talk you into basing a car purchase on the monthly payment amount rather than the actual price of the car). No matter how many times I told them this, they would not budge and would keep asking me about my max amount of monthly payment. Out of the many sales people I talked to at many dealerships recently, this place was the ONLY place where a salesperson tried to play this type of stupid game with me. Then, they said something to the extent of, " Well, I'm sure you don't have $____ in your checking account." When I told them that they do, they answered, "Oh, well you know, you seem like the kind of guy who is very careful about money and would like to blah blah blah blah *bunch of random bs this guy's pulling out of his a$$*". What, do I look poor to you? Finally, while sitting down at the salesperson's desk, I asked if he can make the price any lower. He looked at me and gave me a frustrated sigh, and said, "Look, bla bla bla *more bs*". Come on now. You think I'm gonna buy a car from you with that attitude? Needless to say, I took my business elsewhere. read more

Unethical, shady sales practices, definitely avoid this place. According to Stefan B.'s review on 9/9/2014, looks like I was not the only one who was misled by what was covered by warranty. I'd like to reiterate what Stefan B. said: "So a cautionary tale - If you're buying Certified Pre Owned from them, make sure you get a very clear definition of what's covered, and have them print it out for you, and explain it step by step to you. Then go over it again. They're all too happy to gloss over that, when you're signing the dotted line the first time around." To explain why, here's my story: I got a car from here about 2 weekends ago. At the time, I noticed that the car had rust on its brake rotors. The salesman, Marc casually discarded my concern, and reassured me that it wasn't a concern as it would be covered by warranty. When we were negotiating sale price, I again brought up this concern, and he once again reassured me it was covered by warranty. We went forward with it. I wish I had known at the time, that he was lying to me. Today, I called service to make an appointment to deal with the rusted rotors. The service advisor was confused, and began to explain that the rotors would not be covered due to the rust. I explained to her that Marc had told me two weeks ago that it was covered, and she explained that it was not true, and that Marc was incorrect. A few minutes later, Marc calls back, explains to me that he had NOT in fact told me that it was covered. I asked him, why did you tell me one thing two weeks ago, and now I am hearing another thing? In his words, "I'm going to terminate this call and speak with management." and promptly hung up on me. Great customer service. read more

I don't feel honesty in their service center. I took my X1 in today because the service light was on even though I just had my service done less than a year ago. The service advisor scanned my car and discovered that the brake fluid caused the service light on. However, he also recommended two additional service items which would cost additional $600 on top of replacing brake fluid. One of the items was "coolant flush". Strangely enough, the item showed on paper was written as "Customer requests coolant flush". I questioned that. He said the computer automatically added "Customer requests". Later, I searched on line. Some people on line said BMW coolant is "lifetime filled". When I asked the advisor, he said only the models later than 2018 had lifetime coolant and the older models needed to flush every two years. I felt that was NOT very convincing. I asked if he could find out from their system when this was done last time. He said he would not be able to see previous owner's service record. That really sounded strange because when I purchased this car, I saw all previous service records on internet. Everything should have been recorded in the system. Later on. he realized himself that the paper he was holding in his hand showed all previous service records. Coolant flush was not in the record. In any case, I felt the words just casually jumped out of this advisor's mouth without much accountability. At the end, this item only cost me additional $300 and I am still not convinced that was necessary. The cashier lady was rude also. She gave me the payment sheet to sign but did not want me to see the detailed invoice. I felt I entitle to know the details of what I was paying for, so I asked the second time to see the invoice. She was NOT very happy. read more

For some reason, my last review was deleted. I, like someone else who reviewed Weatherford, created this account solely to give them the worst rating I could. I had a great car buying experience here, but this review is about the service department. Quentin Gulley was my service "advisor" or whatever the f--- they call themselves and he is a liar and a thief. He tried to rip me off on the price of a basic oil service; when I told him I had been given a different price over the phone he tried to blame it on the ignorance of "those ladies that answer the phone, they don't know what they're talking about." When I told him it was a man from the service department, he changed his tune and said, "He told you that? Okay...let's go with that, then." I should have known then to take my car and leave. During the day, he called and left me some "urgent" messages about all the services my car needed "right now," including rear brakes that were supposedly about to go out on me. When I called him back, I told him again that all I wanted was the oil service and the fan blower motor fixed. He quoted me the total, which I approved, and that was that. When I came to pick up my car, it was just after 5:00 so he was gone. He had written up the bill saying I authorized a higher price than I did. He wasn't there, so there was nothing the lady could do about the price. So here it is, almost a year after this incident, and I have been going to an independent mechanic. Two weeks ago, I took my car in for a major service and they said I was probably due to get my rear brakes done, although they were not yet dangerously worn or anything. This is a year after Mr. Gulley told me it was urgent I get them done at Weatherford for $800. My mechanic, who is German and knows his BMWs, charged me $460. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO WEATHERFORD FOR SERVICE! If it's under warranty, maybe, but I'll bet they try to rip you off on that too. read more

After a few months, I unfortunately have to take my 5 star review for Josh Sirof and turn this into the most displeasing rating yet. We have just received a bill in the mail for damages with our old leased car that we returned. We returned our 2009 leased car back here and was promised by Josh that if we leased another car, he would waive all fees for damages. We were tricked in this gimmick. After receiving the bill months later, we made endless calls to Josh and BMW's finance dept and was told that they couldn't do anything or waive any fees. Josh then says "it's out of my control." BS. Josh not only lied to us, but also embarrassed us greatly for falling for this act. We also returned my brother's leased car to SF's BMW and they waived all damages and got us another lease for much cheaper than what Weatherford offers. Will never go back to Weatherford ever again. read more

I have never bought a vehicle at Weatherford, but I would expect a BMW dealership to be well appointed and comfortable (like Mountain View). Weatherford is neither. Additionally, their service department is abysmal. I took my BMW to get non-warranty work done and the service adviser began to argue with me regarding the service which needed to be done. If you are in the Berkeley area and need to get non-warranty work done to your BMW do yourself a favor and go to Bavarian Professionals. Great service, quality guaranteed work and more competitive pricing. If you don't mind the drive and need to get BMW warranty work done go to BMW of Mountain View. They have a new and efficient dealership, will set you up with a nice loaner free of charge, and you can drive through the Los Altos hills backroads while you wait. read more

If you are thinking about purchasing a car from Weatherford, don't. This has been undoubtedly been the worst experience I have encountered from any dealership/brand, let alone a luxury brand like BMW. I won't go into a lot of details about what has happened with our case but let me just say we have not been take care of, shown concern, or professionally handled at any level within this dealership. When confronted with legitimate safety issues the dealer has refused service even though the vehicle continued to be under BMW's warranty. We finally took the vehicle to another dealership where we were treated as we should have been, Concord BMW showed legitimate concern about our situation and shock over how we have been handled. The also let us know that more and more Weatherford customers are going to other dealerships due to the bad service and shady practices. Normally I would say there was something positive to say about any experience, but everyone from the salesmen to the service manager to the owner seem unconcerned, and worst of all unwilling to assist. The service 'advisors' don't seem to care either, they're also possibly incompetent requiring multiple visits for the same reason. My opinion is BMW should not renew their contract with this dealership and get involved with a dealer who can actually operate a dealership that treats its customers with dignity and respect. I'm not a big "yelper" but if you want to save yourself from a bad experience go elsewhere. read more

One of the worst dealership experiences I've had (and I've had numerous). Was in the market for a 335i last August. The CA (customer/client advisor) that I dealt with was an Asian woman whose name escapes me at the moment. We agreed on a time that I would stop in to look at 3 potential vehicles. I turn up and wait then find her walking in with her lunch as she hands me 3 keys to look at the cars in their warehouse of used cars... finding 1 took me 10 minutes. The other did not meet my requested options and the 3rd wasn't even in the warehouse (but had every option I requested). We went inside to discuss numbers on 2 of the cars. I know I look young but I never appreciate being talked down to like a child. She would not budge on the price even though I would be paying straight cash on top of trade-ins. I took her best number and walked. She called me 3 times in the next 2 days putting pressure on me assuring me the cars would be sold at any moment and what did I want to do? I had gone straight to BMW Fremont and found another car exactly spec'ed out to what I wanted had their offer worked out and told the Weatherford CA if she could beat this she would have a sale same day. I got a run around and excuses as to how the new car at Fremont was inferior and I ended up thanking her for her time, suggesting a new customer service strategy, and informed her I would make sure to recommend my fellow car enthusiasts the steer clear of Weatherford. read more
By pure coincidence Weatherford appeared on the landing page when I opened YELP. Just read a review by Ted F (Albany, CA), wow seemed like our experience. We bought a pre-owned BMW on the understanding that we could take it to our CERTIFIED BMW mechanic to have it checked out and if there were any issues we could bring it back. They checked it and said there were so many small things wrong with it that the car had likely been in a bigger crash than noted on the CARFAX. We took the car back next day, thinking we would swap and move on. The dealership backed out of our deal, in fact the scum of a salesman would not deal with us face-to-face. When we asked to see him and the manager they refused and then called the police for disturbance of the peace (we had our 5 year old with us and were marched out). Long story short we had to go to BMW corporate to resolve, they were stunned. We eventually bought a BMW in Marin. I would never go back nor recommend Weatherford! read more

I called to get a quote for a part that has an MSRP of $125. After providing my vehicle info, Weatherford's price was over $200! Another local dealer sold it to me for $140. Still marked up, but not as bad and I needed it right away. Online price goes for $100 which is the best option for parts if you can wait for shipping- which is free for a part at that cost. Whatever you do, don't buy parts from this place. The price gouge is unbelievable. I can't Imagine getting my vehicle serviced here and being locked into paying the extra high price for parts. read more

Very unprofessional. I emailed Monday morning asking to see a specific car between 11:30-2:30pm that day. After receiving confirmation from Jon H, I left work in San Francisco to come look at the car only to find out there was no car available. (Same car he confirmed I should drive out to see.) It is actually the shop getting repairs done and that it wouldn't be ready until the next week. One would think if someone emailed to confirm a specific car, a car salesman would make sure the car was actually there before telling a customer to drive out. Since then, there was no follow up, which he promised and after I reached out to him today, he is incredibly unhelpful and slow to respond. If you want someone who respects your time, don't work with Jon. SF BMW was much more helpful. UPDATE: I was told today that the manager will not allow me to put a deposit on a car unless I remove my negative review. I would have been happy to remove it had the rest of the interactions gone smoothly. Definitely purchasing from a different dealership. read more

By far one of the worst BMW dealerships in the Bay Area. Both service advisors and sales people are selfish and very incompetent. Salespeople would go a great length to make an extra buck. I highly recommend going to East Bay BMW. The employees there actually value the importance of customer service and customer appreciation. I would drive an extra 30 miles to get my car serviced just so that I could avoid Weatherford. If i had to spend so much money on a automobile, I would not come here bottom line. read more

I recently purchased a car from this dealer. I had a pretty good experience overall... Which is why I believe you see lots of 5 star and lots of one star reviews.... If nothing goes wrong... There's a good chance of being satisfied. Unfortunately.... If you have a problem... Even a small one.. The ugly side of this type of business are quickly shown. I am sure this review will warrant a generic response from a sales manager... As they are all identical. I am not convinced that many people have changed their feelings after making follow up contact with the sales manager.. My biggest concern with my experience here came after a minor issue involving floor mats of all things couldn't be taken care of and after many calls and far more time spent than should ever be required I made contact with my sales associate... Who unfortunately was more concerned with my after sales survey that I submitted. Apparently I failed to follow instructions properly when I answered as honestly as I could. I paid him a compliment and rated him all tens as he had asked..there were some hiccups though and I addressed those. I also was reaching out because my small issue with floor mats had grown into a bit of a pain. What I got for a response was the fact that I didn't give all tens on my survey... My advice is that if you have a honest straight forward customer come in there and you aren't sure if the process went well... Ask them to not fill out a survey at all. I have spent more time screwing around with this place than on multiple previous purchases combined. I will not be back after this experience. A better experience might be to purchase through a credit union and not have to deal at all with car sales culture at all... Just keep it in the back of your mind that attitudes change quickly once you sign. Be sure to have everything promised in your possession prior to leaving. Even to this day the sales manager won't cut a check until I drop off a floor mat... That I finally had to order online. Just tacky. Newest update...... Three months after purchasing my vehicle here I found out while refinancing my mortgage that a BMW credit card was opened in my name for $20,000. I warn anyone that goes here to watch their paperwork closely. What happens is a credit card authorization is automatically generated when you finance through BMW. Since you are financing a vehicle most expect to sign authorizations to pull credit etc. Shame on me for not noticing verbiage on the paperwork with "credit card" vs "credit app". Shame on them, for what to most would be considered tacky used car lot tactics....at best. I see it as uninformed consent for them to potentially damage a buyers credit rating.. Or reduce their buying potential for other things I.E. Mortgage etc. Per BMW credit card department this is not unusual. I suspect this is to pad sales numbers for the finance dept. or to meet quotas. I spent far more time trying to get this cleared up, than to buy the car. Please keep this in mind if you choose to go here... Or for any BMW product... As it seems to be a widespread problem. "Just search BMW sent me credit card without asking". Good luck... Keep one hand on your wallet! read more

We were looking to purchasing a used a car for my dad. We had visited a list of dealers which had our car, color, and options in stock ready to go. Weatherford BMW was on the list and it was where we decided to purchase. Because the staff are highly professional and polished. Facilities are top notch. Location convenient to freeway. Garrett M was our salesperson; he was kind, patient, knowledgable, and professional. We met the sales manager as well, he was nice too. We are happy with our experience and our car. I can recommend this dealership to others. read more

Bought a 335 CPO from them. Not satisfied with the experience. 1. They disguised the fact that the car was smoked in. Make sure you check- I was surprised they could cover that up through a test drive. When I told them I wasn't happy they tried to charge me for ozone. 2. During negotiations I was lied to. I was told that they had to put new tires on it, which limited their flexibility on price. I switched tires in the first year and the tire shop let me know that they were dangerous. Multiple patches, done improperly. One piece patches with no moisture block. Also bolts were tightened by amateurs (greater than 200 ft lbs when it was supposed to be at 89). I'm ok with selling used cars hard, but felt both instances crossed what was ethically acceptable. read more

Overall Experience: I would actually give Zero '0' star if there is an option on yelp. I bought a used car from these guys two months back. I was new to US, and I was in damn need of a car. These guys understood and exploited my pathetic situation to the fullest extent someone could possibly do. Finance Dept: They seemed to be very nice till they get the check from me. Then the moment they got the check, they started showing their true color. The finance department was total BS, they did a blanket application to many credit unions and bought my credit score to the ditch. 1 good Example: They are up to a level that, they said the BMW's provides only one key for the car [other than the valet key]. even though i figured out and asked for it, they stood to their ground. I had sent multiple followups to them, with no acknowledgement or reply ! terrible customer service!!! Despite the fact that i know little about a BMW before purchasing it, I would give them the full credit for educating me [now I am very good at BMW, since i flooded multiple repair shops with my ride to get it fixed for many issues] I would not recommend these guys for any BMW newbies@anytime @anycost!!! better find a good dealer read more

I would not recommend doing business here. I bought a used car from here and had a bad experience. Check engine light within the first hour of driving off the lot, messed up wheel alignment, and an improperly installed headlight bulb. They corrected the engine light issue but it took them a day and a half and they ignored the alignment and headlight. I had to pay to get those fixed somewhere else. Trust the yelp rating and avoid this place. I wish I looked on yelp before going here. One more thing. There was a missing plug on the bumper which they said they would order and have shipped to me. They don't respond to my voicemails or email, so I doubt I'll be getting that from them. EDIT: Renold, the salesperson that I dealt with, did end up ordering the bumper plug for me. read more
I have purchased 2 cars from Weatherford BMW and have worked with Ali both times. Ali makes the process of buying a car so easy. No back and forth, no "let me talk to my manager"! the bottom line right from the get go, it doesn't get easier. Ali is a pleasure to work with. In fact everyone at Weatherford is great to work with. I've worked with other Bay Area BMW dealerships and Weatherford is definitely the best one. read more

I purchased a car on December 4th, and good luck getting a callback after you've signed the paperwork. I was told by Kathleen that she would personally give me a call when their merger with an extended warranty company was complete. The merger was suppose to be completed by Dec 15, and yet no call or response on an update. I left her voicemails, sent her emails and even left a comment on Twitter (since most companies reply promptly once exposed through social media). read more

Because the color and option combination I wanted was hard to find, I emailed a bunch of Bay Area dealers to ask for quotes on built to order 3 series. I initially went with Weatherford because the internet sales guy was responsive and seemed friendly. After going for a test drive (in a car similar to the one I was ordering) and going over the options I wanted, the salesman printed out a build sheet, circled the agreed upon price, and initialed next to it. 3.5 weeks later, I got an email from the salesman letting me know that he couldn't order the car that we agreed to that day without adding leather (a $1,450 option). After getting the email, I immediately called the salesman who stated that it was impossible to order a 3 series sportline without leather and, as a result, I would have to add the option if I wanted the car. Surprised by this, I immediately went to BMW's official website, which directly contradicted the salesman and let me build a sportline without leather. I also called a couple of other dealers about the leather requirement and every dealer agreed that it was not a requirement and also common knowledge that leather was not required. Basically, Weatherford was either incompetent for not knowing how to order the car or flat out lying and trying to upsell me on options. When I went back to the salesman with the information I collected, instead of getting an apology or confirmation that I could get the car exactly how I wanted it, I got a crappy response from the salesman that I should "not jump to conclusions" and that the build sheet in which he circled the price and initialed was "not official". What's the point of circling a price and signing your name next to it if it means nothing? After getting that email, I cancelled the order and got my car from another Bay Area dealer. After cancelling my order, it took them more than 3 weeks (and multiple requests) to issue a refund on my deposit. I'm ok with a refund taking a couple of days but they were excessively slow in giving me my money back. read more

I wouldn't buy a car from here: Hide yo wallet, hide yo time, they rapin everybody...They sold my mother a used BMW that broke down in a few months. We definitely suspect they removed the warning signs and cleaned the car up just enough to sell. Their prices are not that great, they are full of nonsense...they'll keep you sitting there yapping all day if you let them. They're smart, keep you around till you feel obligated or just get lazy. A good place to take for scheduled warranty covered maintenence. I would give them one star except I bought a BMW which was still in warranty, NOT FROM THEM, and they did a great job of fixing it up and maintaining it for free until 50K miles. The guy made fun of me for buying the car from another dealership, but I don't care and it's none of his business, I am really happy I did, got a great deal! OH btw BMWs are the BEST. read more

History
Established in 1980.
At the foundation of Weatherford BMW is a desire to bring drivers in the greater Berkeley area an assortment of new and used cars capable of transforming everyday commutes into something a little more extraordinary. This is why we sell only new BMW models such as the X1, X2, X3, X5, 330, 430, 530, 530e, i3, 850, 750 and the all new X7 and mint-condition used cars. But, that simply wasn't enough. So, in addition to our new and used car inventories renowned across Oakland, San Leandro and Richmond, CA, we decided to add a BMW service center commanded by a team of experts hand-picked for their knowledge, passion and promise to treat every car as if it was their own... We also know there are still people set on doing it themselves: we added a genuine BMW parts shop. The logic? We want to make your life easier - put everything under one roof. We also want to help ensure that the extraordinary experience of owning a new BMW stands the test of time.

I honestly hate writing such a poor review after having what was initially a good experience here. Joe Combs was really good at communicating with me via email prior to coming into the dealership to look at the car I wanted to lease and for the cost. However, when I did finally come in, the car I was going to lease was no longer available (of course) and the other car options I had were to cost a little more in my monthly payments (naturally). After test driving the car, Joe worked with his financial department to put together numbers. They initially offered to buy out my current lease (from another manufacturer) and take it off of my hands, two months early to my lease ending. I was ecstatic about this! Joe came back with the numbers that were just slightly higher than I wanted (for money down). I told him I was still happy with moving forward and glad they were able to get close to what I initially wanted to pay. Joe then had me contact my current lease to find out the payout information on my car, so they could write them a check and take the car off of my hands. I gladly gave this information to Joe and his team. After this information was handled by their team, Joe came back with needing another $500 to put down - otherwise my payments would be much higher than I wanted. Though I was not happy about this news, I obliged because at the end of the day, they were still taking the old lease off of my hands and I was walking away with a new car. Getting into the financial paperwork is when the big sticker shock hit me. The finance guy recommended I pay the almost $2K package for protection on my lease, because my car has a 'lot of fiberglass parts that are prone to damage and BMW doesn't care if you lease another car from them - they will make you pay for the damages.' So I reluctantly obliged and shelled out another lump sum of money... The finance guy moved swiftly thru all of the paperwork, I paid my down payment & for the lease protection and drove off in my new car. Everything was golden for about a month - until my prior leasing agent contacted me with an outstanding balance & an attempt to collect a debt! I was in pure shock of receiving this information as I always had a good standing with my leasing agent. It turns out, BWM cut a check that was too short to my previous leasing agent to purchase the car and that they were refusing to pay or even call back my previous leasing agent. I had to find this news out myself. After much discussing with my previous leasing agent, they informed me that even if BMW refused to pay the outstanding balance due, it was my responsibility. What a joke! I contacted Joe & his manager, James - and I had to constantly reach out to both to get any sort of response back. I finally got Joe on the phone last week to tell me that 'they are working on it' and that he'd get back to me. A day later I called him and he said he would discuss it with his manager yet again (continued to be brushed aside). Finally his manager called and left me a voicemail, with utter lies that BMW contact MY leasing agent to find out the payout amount - and the wrong amount was given to them. That was a total lie - I was requested by BMW to contact my leasing agent to find out the payout amount. BMW instructed me on what to do and so I followed their steps and later slapped with an outstanding bill. I have since tried contacting both Joe & his sales manager via email and phone and no one has had the courtesy to call me back. This is just once again a reminder that car salespeople are some of the most bait & switch salespeople on the planet and continue to make the car industry one of which I hate shopping for. I will never purchase or lease another vehicle from this location again. Buyers beware!! read more

I have been a customer of Weatherford BMW since 2010. I have bought 3 BMWs and have traded in 3 cars to Weatherford BMW. I WILL NO LONGER BE A CUSTOMER OF WEATHERFORD BMW OR ANY OF ITS OTHER SISTER COMPANIES, SONEN BMW AND CONCORD BMW. After traveling the USA and getting to visit other BMW dealerships I realized that WEATHERFORD BMW is the worse example of what BMW North America wants. Then seeing how most comments on here YELP aren't in favor of WEATHERFORD BMW I find that my experiences aren't off point. It's not normal for sales people and managers to talk down to fellow workmates. This is how WEATHERFORD BMW runs things. I'm all about being proud where I shop. If its from eggs to buying a car, it matters to me where I buy it. Just hearing all the bickering at this dealership and how they talk to their employees just grossed me out. I didn't realize people get talked like this in the work place. Its especially bad when the general public hears it. I heard the manager Greg La Something threaten an employee with his job if something didn't get taken care of before lunch. Who threatens people like that? I was shocked to hear it and I said something under my breath and a salesman heard me and he said thats pretty normal around here with most the management. This whole experience made me examine WEATHERFORD BMW even more so. NOW REMEMBER, I am a happy customer with my cars. I am NOT unhappy with BMW. I am just in disgust with WEATHERFORD BMW. The management there seems to walk around there like they are untouchable. As if they are doctors and they cured cancer. Remember, you are just sales people. I was able to get some more information from employees of WEATHERFORD BMW. One tech told me that this past Christmas Bonus was cut from their budget because they were acquiring SONEN BMW. When you want families to come and buy from you that really leaves a bad taste in their mouths. You can't even take care of your own families but the managers can roll around in high budget demo cars. WHICH brings me to another point. One New York BMW dealership doesn't even give managers demo BMW cars. This is so the dealer can put more back into the dealership for their customers. Like as we all know WEATHERFORD BMW coffee stand is a joke. ALL the other BMW dealerships I went to had Starbuck's machines or coffee stands with real good pastries. I was told by several store managers that this is due to not having expensive demo BMW's for personal vehicles. WHICH at WEATHERFORD BMW, ALL managers have very nice demo BMW's. I even had other BMW store managers and service managers sit me down to hear how things are ran at WEATHERFORD BMW. They explained everything they could to me on how things should be ran. They were very shocked to hear and were very apologetic. I was also told that the way WEATHERFORD BMW conducts their CSI scores is improper. There should never be bribing to a customer for a high score. At WEATHERFORD BMW they are aren't afraid to bribe a high score from you. At one point WEATHERFORD BMW was giving cash spiffs to their sales people for good YELP reviews. Its amazing what you find out from employees. They were very embarrassed to hear my own personal experiences with my loaner car when I was in for service. I understand we are in Berkeley but does it mean that the car should smell like marijuana? I even got into a used car on WEATHERFORD's lot to find it smell like marijuana. This is a BMW dealership? THIS IS ONE DEALERSHIP THAT NEEDS MANAGEMENT HELP ASAP! BMW NORTH AMERICA STEP IN BEFORE ITS TOO LATE! read more

Level-set: Most of us dislike the car-buying process intensely, not necessarily just because of the transaction size and the associated heartburn (though that doesn't help), but because of the ridiculous spectacle that often showcases the most negative aspects of raw, pure capitalism. As a capitalist myself, it's not that I don't understand that all businesses need to earn a profit, I just dislike the unbridled dishonesty and bad behavior that typically accompanies the transaction. Most auto dealers (new or used) have very high turnover, and not only does this lead to a lack of continuity, but also makes it difficult for dealers to establish a consistent "culture." This certainly does not help the optics for the car buyer. Over years of car-buying, I have arrived at a personal policy - never go to the same dealer twice because the previous experience has always left a bad taste in my mouth. Until Weatherford BMW. I was led there in 2019 because I met one of the sales managers at a local BMW club driving event, and she was very smart, professional, and, well, not "salesy." Just good. When it was time to get a new car, she assigned me to a sales associate (Bobby, who was outstanding and also not "salesy") and I found myself a new car. I bought my first vehicle (2020 G20 M340i) there in 2019, and the sales process was painless. Everybody on the team (and at Weatherford, it's a team effort, from the sales associate to the guy prepping the car for delivery) is well trained, well-mannered (not syrupy, just polite) and interested in YOUR buying/genius/delivery/service experience. They listened to my needs, did not try to "steer" me away from my preference, and sold me an excellent car at an excellent price. Other than the mandatory set of inquiries about extended warranties and such, I was allowed (nay, welcomed) to buy the car I wanted - the way I wanted. Ok, so the car was great (it was a pandemic car, so it didn't see a ton of miles), and my service experience there was excellent and painless, but years later, it was time for me to address my lease (I ended up buying it out) and also prepare to eventually order another car. I was filled with dread, as I was sure everybody I had dealt with had left and I would be left to contend with a bunch of new folks I didn't know. Not so - most of the team remained (my original sales associate had been promoted), and more importantly, the culture was the exact same - all about maximizing customer experience but also working out a good deal/outcome for the customer, which is all most of us want. This time I was assigned to Kevin, who represents the Weatherford brand identity masterfully - responsive, informed, polite, communicative when needed, but never trying to "hurry the deal." I put a deposit on the car in late 2021, and as the car market started to shift dramatically toward the seller, they assured me that, during a period where I was ordering a new EV and every dealer was trying to mark these up by 10-15%, my original agreed-upon price would be honored. This stretched the bounds of my belief system, and yet when the car finally arrived in late-ish 2022, they honored EVERY commitment and made the buying process so pleasant and easy that I now prefer buying a car to going to the dentist. I purchased the car, and thus far their follow-up has been stellar. Bottom line, I didn't like car buying and I didn't like/trust car DEALERS, and Weatherford has changed me on both fronts. Highly recommend them. read more

UPDATE: It's so funny to see that someone posted 5 star review on James Whittenburg immediately after my bad review on him on 12/1/2015. Important thing note here is that this person have not had any positive reviews after Jan 2013 (when he seemed to be working in Finance dept. and not in Sales). My advice is next time if someone writes a bad review on you atleast wait for few days to before getting a positive review written :-) I didn't want to malign anyone's image with my review but just share my experience. If you had taken responsibility for your behavior then there was a possibility that I would have deleted my review on yelp but instead it seems you've chosen to cover it up by getting, if I may say, a fake review written. Original Review posted on 12/1//2015: I recently have had a really bad (very unprofessional) experience working with this dealership. I was looking for a certified X5 and they happened to have one that I liked. But since they were asking for too much money (in my opinion), l didn't want to buy that. But the sales guy (let's leave his name out as I don't think he was at fault) kept following up with me. Then finally we agreed on a price. It was Saturday and we finalized things at @ 2:20pm on the phone. So I arranged for a cab to get there as I live near San Jose and told the sales guy that I'd be at the dealership by 5pm. On my way, I even asked him to send me the VIN # of the vehicle since I wanted to buy an insurance. So he did. When I reached the dealership around 5pm, I texted him to let him know that I was there. He said he would be there in few mins as he was with another customer. He came back at around 5:20pm and then went inside the dealership. Few minutes later he came back with his sales manager, James Whittenburg. The sales manager says to me "sorry but we sold that vehicle". So I said "what do you mean?". He said "we sold it an hour ago". Then I said "why didn't you call me? I was coming here to buy that vehicle which your sales guy & I agreed on 2 hours ago." Then the sales manager said "We just sold it 5 mins ago. Another sales guy shook hands with a customer". I said "I've been at the dealership for about 25 mins, why didn't you let me know? And how can you sell it to someone else when you committed that vehicle to me?". Then he said "oh, I have 25 sales people". Now that is not my problem that you can't even keep track of who is selling what. I said I paid $200 for a cab just to get here and your sales guy made a commitment to me. Then the sales manager arrogantly says "it's not his problem that I took a cab to get there". The sales manager James was very arrogant in his behavior. Even though he said he's sorry few times but it was so clear from his face that he didn't mean any of that. Now that "sorry" really doesn't count, does it? You want to buy a vehicle (especially used one) from a dealership you can trust. And when someone at the dealer can't even keep their word what's the guarantee that they will honor any of the commitments they made to you while selling the vehicle. If you absolutely must go to this dealership, I'd say stay away from dealing with James Whittenburg. read more

Please be careful they have very deceptive sales practices here. Not more then 5 minutes after posting this, Weatherford BMW has taken down the add from Autotrader.com !!!!!!! That only took 4 days, I wonder how many people went there wanting to buy that car? I found a car on autotrader.com that Weatherford BMW was advertising last week April 26, 2010. After talking it over with my husband we decided to send an email to the Internet Sales MGR Roberto Roy 510-761-6075 on Friday May 30, 2010 at 11:48am. Stating we did not want to waste his time or ours and made an offer on the vehicle. At 3:27pm Friday Mr. Roy emailed us back and said he would take the offer. I called and left a message for Mr. Roy that we would be in Saturday to check the car and complete the agreement. We did not get a call back that night. Saturday morning my husband called Mr. Roy at 11:30am and asked if the car was still available. Mr. Roy put him on hold for a few minutes and then told us the car was there. We told Mr. Roy that we would drive 90 minutes to see him and would arrive at 1:30pm Mr. Roy said he would be there. When we arrived Mr. Roy said the car was not available and it was sold last night. What? He then proceeded to tell me that he tried to email me and let me know but for some reason did not have our phone number. I asked Mr. Roy " Why did you tell me you had the car when I called you at 11:30am this morning" he replied in front of my wife and 2 other sales people " I always tell people we have the car" He then started to offer me other vehicles to look at. Mr. Roy did send an email to advise that the car was not available, but we had already left. Mr. Roy said he did not have a phone number to call us. Another lie, as the email we sent him to inquire about the car, and the next email we sent him to make an offer had our Cell phone number in the email. Mr. Roy felt as though it was not his fault we drove all the way to his dealership as he tried to contact us with an email and we should have email linked with our cell phone. As if it was our fault he did not tell us the truth the first time we called. And , why did he not bother to call us the night before knowing we had emailed an offer if the vehicle was being sold that night. My husband's response to that was" Don't deceive people into thinking you have a car, let them drive 3 hours, waste gas and toll and their time because you want to get them on the lot to sell a different car! Do you really think we want to buy a car from Weatherford BMW now that you lied to us! As of today Weatherford BMW has taken the car (a 2004 BMW M3 Convertible, Silver with vin ending in PK07092) off their website, 5 minutes after posting this review Weatherford BMW has taken down the add from Autotrader.com that only took them 4 days! Don't know about you, but I would never buy a car from this dealership or Mr. Roberto Roy. If anyone wants a copy of the emails that we sent and the email Mr. Roy sent, just ask we are happy to share the information to protect you from deceptive selling practices. read more

While we don't comment online very often, our great experience at Weatherford BMW compelled us to write this review. We came here to purchase a CPO BMW without expecting much and it turned out to be a pleasant and exciting experience. At every step of the way, we were treated with respect and patience. Every concern of ours was addressed and every question answered. We are especially grateful to Mostafa and Erin in the Sales Department who relentlessly worked with us through multiple hours of selections and deliberations. Erin patiently navigated us through six full test drives as we were considering various engines and packages. She readily explained car features and subtle differences between trims. She was able to spontaneously modify the driving test route so that we could test certain features of the car - from highway acceleration to handling tight corners. Definitely ask Erin if you have any questions about a new or CPO BMW. After spending a few hours test-driving with Erin, Mostafa took us under his wing to assist us with the decision-making. We had multiple concerns and inquiries based on our prior research and experience with BMW's. Mostafa was fluent with every aspect of our questioning from mechanical parameters, to manufacturer's service bulletins, to the subtle aspects of warranty agreements. A real professional, Mostafa didn't show any sign of impatience and was able to quickly pull up supporting documents and references. Of course, negotiating the deal is a very individual experience. In our case, working with Mostafa turned out to be a positive and productive process. At every step, we were treated with dignity and respect. There was never any pressure or games. The whole process was very amicable ending in full satisfaction - no buyer's remorse. Once we reached an agreement, the rest of the affair was streamlined and easy. What really impressed us is the standard of care that Mostafa exhibited at the tail end of the purchase. After the deal had already been negotiated, Mostafa examined faint imperfections in the vehicle paint and insisted that the affected area get refinished by the Service Department at no additional cost to us. Honestly, the car had very few miles on it and we were ready to drive it away as is. Mostafa firmly stood behind the BMW name and expressed that they do care about the quality of the vehicles that leave Weatherford BMW's lot. We will be coming back to have the paint corrections completed in the next few days at no cost. We are very pleased with the car that we purchased and the overall experience. We were able to test every model in which we were interested and had every resource at our disposal to make an educated decision. The staff made the overall process enjoyable and effective. We anticipate a long-term relationship with Weatherford BMW. If you're on the fence, don't hesitate to start here and make sure to speak with Mostafa and Erin. read more

The thought of buying a new vehicle can be stressful and overwhelming. From deciding on the model, going through the features, and then comparing prices can be very daunting to say the least. Last week I had made the decision to purchase a pre-certified BMW. Rather than spend aimless hours going from dealer to dealer, I decided that I would narrow my search online, perusing dealer websites looking at available inventory. Living in the Bay area, I combed thru several of the main dealerships, but it became apparent really quickly that Weatherford in Berkeley had what I found to be the best and most comprehensive selection of pre-owned BMW certified cars. I easily found the model and color I was seeking, and Weatherford had done a great job in highlighting the vehicles attributes, everything from feature set, VIN to pricing all at my fingertips. Further, I really liked that I was able to see a selection of 40+ pictures on the specific vehicle I was interested in purchasing, not to mention even a video of the car; truly a class act all the way. I called Weatherford at 9AM and was delighted to be connected to a salesperson immediately; I began working with Renold. Renold let me know that the vehicle I was interested in was available, and that he could work around my schedule for me to come into take a look and to test-drive the car. I had let him know that should we come to terms on a deal that day, that I already had my financing in order. He mentioned that he could most likely beat the rate my bank had quoted me, and after submitting the easiest loan form imaginable, he told me know that I would qualify for BMW financing, saving me roughly 3 points on the APR. So already feeling really great about this dealership and my salesperson, Renold - great inventory, pricing, and really helpful folks who I felt weren't trying to strong-arm me into a purchase. Upon inspection of the vehicle, it even surpassed my expectations - car simply looked, drove and even smelled brand new! We quickly came to terms on an agreeable price and I've got to say that working with Renold was a breeze and a real pleasure, bypassing the typical adversarial back and forth that usually encompasses this type of transaction. I would be amiss if I didn't also point out the finance Manager, James, was also really great to work with - he had the patience to answer all of my questions, and to show me all the various options available to save money by pre-paying for extended maintenance plans etc. Let's face it; it's great to have peace of mind knowing that you are covered for the unexpected. This was truly one of those great purchasing moments when everything aligned and in such a timely manner; from my initial call in the morning to when I was driving off the lot took no longer than just a few short hours. Couldn't be happier with Weatherford and Renold, not to mention the GREAT BMW I just purchased! read more

Weatherford BMW provided an extremely professional and courteous experience in both their service and sales departments. Service: In April 2012, I had a breakdown driving back from Napa, CA and had to have my 00 323ci (E46) towed to Weatherford BMW. It was after normal business hours for the sale department, so I parked the vehicle and placed my information, description of the incidents, and vehicle key in their overnight service drop box. Weatherford BMW's Service Advisor, Mr. Richard Angelis, contacted me on Monday and provided an overall assessment of the vehicle and recommended service. Having recently moved to the area, there was no local service history at Weatherford BMW, however, Mr. Angelis reached out to my most recent BMW service sites on the East Coast for historical information in order to provide a detailed course of action/options for maintenance. Within 1.5 days, Weatherford BMW was able to order, deliver, and replace the drive shaft assembly at an extremely reasonable price with a complimentary wash and detailing upon completion. Mr. Angelis was customer service oriented and made to time to greet me and explain the scope and nature of the maintenance. Sales: In May 2012, I decided to trade-in my aforementioned vehicle for a pre-owned 09 M3 (E92) and had the great pleasure to work with Mr. Boris Star as my Sales Manager and Mr. James Whittenburg as my Finance Manager. Having made my decision towards a pre-owned vehicle for purchase, Mr. Star, was extremely knowledgeable in providing all financial options available for consideration, to include the differences amongst the model lines from the standard 3-Series to inbound new M5. Mr. Star listened to my interests and preferences and tailored the purchase experience to suit my needs, specifically on what vehicle best matched my financial situation, lifestyle, driving habits, and future plans. Having narrowed to purchase of a pre-owned M3, Mr. Star, offered a test-drive to include full-explanations of all standard features and options on the vehicle, a walk-thru of the service history, and existing maintenance/warranty plans associated with the vehicle. When we finalized the trade-in and credit history, Mr. Whittenburg, was able to offer an even better local finance option, specific to Weatherford BMW, which my current lender, USAA, could not match. In fact, the difference in savings allowed for me to extend the maintenance/warranty plan on the vehicle. Both Mr. Star and Mr. Whittenburg were extremely professional, yet personable and could not have found a better experience. In addition, following purchase, Weatherford BMW, has contacted me for any follow-up issues/questions on the M3 and overall just to ensure that their service was consistent with what is expected out of BMW. Thanks and hopefully this was helpful in providing some baseline information on Weatherford BMW for your consideration. read more

This review is for Roberto Roy and Boris Star!! I have leased 3 BMW machines from Weatherford BMW all from my Client Advisor ROBERTO ROY over the last 12 years. A few months ago before my lease was about to end Roberto contacted me regarding my lease-end options and I took his advice to place an order for a new X5. About 6 weeks after placing my order I received a telephone call from Roberto informing me that he was no longer employed at Weatherford BMW. I asked him would that change the "deal" that he and I had agreed on regarding the return of my lease and the lease quote on the new X5 and he assured me that it would not. I asked him could he have the dealership place in writing the agreement that he had promised me and he told me that he could not but to please trust him like the other 3 lease transactions that we conducted. At that point I did not have a good feeling because although I trust Roberto I have had no dealings with any other Weatherford employees in the Sales Department except for Roberto; he always took care of me even made my service appointments for me. I must have called Roberto about 5 or 6 times asking him to assure me that he had made the necessary arrangements for a smooth delivery and in all of our conversations he would just tell me "trust me, everything will be fine". Roberto told me that he would select a Client Advisor from the Sales Department to deliver my X5 to me when it arrived. 2 weeks later I received a call from Boris Star informing me that my X5 was 1 week from arriving at the dealership and that he would take care of my delivery I asked him did Roberto discuss our agreement and he told me yes and that nothing would change from Roberto's lease quote on the X5. 5 days later Boris called me and we set an appointment to return my current lease and take delivery of my new X5. The day before I was to meet Boris at the dealership I called Roberto and told him that I was concerned regarding taking delivery of the X5 being that I had nothing in writing and that I was afraid that they would "bait and switch" me in regards to price once I arrived for my appointment. Roberto asked me what time was my appointment at Weatherford and he told me that he would meet me at the dealership. The next day when I arrived at Weatherford Roberto was waiting for me on the showroom floor and he introduced me to Client Advisor Boris Star, Sales Manager Rafael Macia, and Finance Manager David Manalo. They took my lease-return with no charges for the return and had all the lease paperwork ready for me on the new X5 and all the numbers were just like Roberto had promised. THANK YOU Roberto, Thank you Boris, Thank you Rafael, Thank you David and Thank you Weatherford BMW! read more

Just leased a new X6. I had been working with Chris Phan via email so he knew what I was looking for. When I arrived Chris was busy working with another customer. He immediately came over with another gentleman named Jon Heppler. I hate being handed over but I hate waiting around more so it made sense for Chris to make sure I was getting help. Jon took us to the used lot first and allowed us to test drive an X5 and said we could anything wanted afterwards. I wanted to compare to an X6 so we drove one of those as well. We finally sat down and ran some numbers on various X6 combinations and found one that worked. I think he was ready to close but I told him that I do not make snap decisions and wanted to think about it but would decide over the next week. He was fine with that and offers to send other X6 options he had from Concord and Marin BMW as they own those dealerships as well. I left the dealership pretty much sold on the X6 but want to test drive an Audi SQ5. We drove over to Audi and asked for the manager. I had been in contact with her online and stated that I would be coming in. My wife and waited around for 30 minutes until a salesman finally came out to help us. He was new so I'll give him a small break but we waiting another 15 minutes for them to bring out the only SQ5 they have in stock. That being said the SQ5 is beautiful and fast. I was close to changing my mind. When we finally sat down and ran numbers the payments came in much higher on a vehicle with less features. We asked him to print them up for us. He left and returned and gave us the rookie version of the hard sell. "How can I get you out of hear with a car today?" There was the turn off sales pitch. I said I wasn't going to make a snap decision and he then added "I've been here a month and haven't sold a car yet". I felt sorry for SOB but that wasn't going to make me buy a car. Like Jon from BMW he said he'd be in contact with me during the following week. I never heard from this guy again. Meanwhile Jon stayed in contact and check out a number of cars for me. I find the X6 I wanted at Eastbay BMW. Jon was able to execute a trade to get the car to Weatherford. I went to the dealer yesterday and picked it up. They were busy and had just implement at new CRM system so the process took longer than I would have liked but fortunately there was a Giant's game to watch in the meantime. Took my new X6 home last night. Got an email today thanking me for may business and making sure I was happy with everything. Needless to say Jon at Weatherford BMW kept me in a bimmer when I might have read more

I am writing this review in regards to the service performed and received to my boyfriend's car in mid January. This place is really good except for a few bad apples but every company has them even mine so I cant dock to many stars from this review. Richard my service adviser was extremely helpful, he listened to all of my concerns about my vehicle (peeling interior trim, tire light, and the replacement of an exhaust tip plus standard service) and got it all done in one day, very impressive especially when I had seen how many cars were in the driveway(a lot). There shuttle service was really convenient and the kid who picked me up was very polite and quite knowledgeable, I was truly impressed he didn't look any older then 17 and he was able to tell me everything that was done to my car. When I got there it was still busy, but Richard quickly and in an easy to understand way explained everything that was done to my boyfriend's car( this made it really easy to explain to my boyfriend. Richard got my car washed and brought up and sent me over to the cashier. This is where my experience at Weatherford went down hill, the overweight b*tch cashier greeted me with a sigh and a frown. Hello lady we are in a lousy economy BE HAPPY THAT YOU HAVE A JOB! I had to pay a hefty bill to replace the tires. Giving my money to someone who looks and acts like they are completely unsatisfied with their job not to mention very rude doesn't make it any easier for me. She handed me the keys and that was it, I didn't even get a customary non meaningful "have a nice evening" from her. If it wasn't for the cashier's inability to provide a pleasant "end" to my service I would have given Weatherford 5 stars. Long story short avoid the cashiers at this place, they will ruin it all. To be honest it seems like even there coworkers are fed up with they rudeness and antics as well. Hopefully the managers can rectify the problem, I believe my boyfriend's car is due for an oil change in July. I am going to ask him if I can take the car in instead of him to see if I get the same customer service from that cashier that i did in January. I know some people just have those bad days but come on you really ruined my experience that day, quit your job if it gets under your skin that bad. You are doing nothing but harm to your self and the company you work for. read more

Disappointing Service Experience I've been a loyal BMW owner for years, but my experience with BMW Weatherford in Berkeley has been deeply frustrating. Over the course of four years, I repeatedly asked them to address a fuel tank pressure sensor issue in my that should have been covered under my extended warranty. They kept insisting there was no issue with the sensor, yet continued to perform unnecessary and unrelated services instead. Even after I provided documentation from another BMW service center confirming the issue, they still denied the repair and told me to return again for yet another paid check-up. At one point, I was told the engine light would just keep coming on, and that I should simply stop by occasionally so they could clear the codes... As the second owner, I requested access to the vehicle's full service history, especially since the car had always been serviced at Weatherford. That's when I discovered the previous owner had experienced the exact same issue. Weatherford had performed repairs totaling more than half the car's value, replacing nearly every part mentioned in related BMW forum threads, yet the fuel sensor was mentioned in the papers but had never been addressed. The previous owner even provided me with a second-opinion report confirming the sensor was covered under warranty. All this was completely ignored. Again, I was asked to pay more for another check-in. I also requested the service records copies and, unsurprisingly, was denied access. Over the years, I've been dismissed, brushed off, and never treated with fairness, kindness, or professionalism. I couldn't help but wonder: Is this just about making money, or is it how they treat someone with an accent like mine? Like the previous owner, I spent thousands of dollars (and as a schoolteacher, these expenses were a heavy burden), trying to fix problems that never actually existed. Thankfully, I eventually brought my car to BMW Fairfield, where they diagnosed and replaced the fuel tank pressure sensor under warranty in just three days. Their service was professional, respectful, and efficient, a complete contrast to my experience at Weatherford. My engine light has never come on since. This is my third BMW, and until now, I've never had an experience that made me question the brand. I truly hope no one else has to go through what I did. read more

This is a rating on BUYING a car. I will write a review for service later when I experience that part. First off buying a car is usually a pain in the ass. I'm a middle aged guy and have bought a few cars in my time and I rarely look forward to the experience. Information is key as well as patience. It's a delicate balance on being respectful to the people that are selling cars and you that is buying one. They are people too and they have lives, wives and families to feed as well. I started off at Weatherford because it's the closest to me and is where my father bought my mother her BMW when I was in high school. This is my first purchase of a car in this class. When I got there I was greeted by Andy. He wasn't pushy. Cool kid and was patient while me and my brother looked around. Then we left after swapping some info. A couple days later I went back and started to work some numbers with Jun on an 09 3 series. My deal was more complicated than most as it included an Audi lease trade in. It was looking good for awhile but the numbers just didn't quite work for me so I moved on and shopped around. A few days passed and I got a call from Andy and Jun. I was pretty firm in what I was willing to pay and they understood that. It's not really a game this back and forth, it's just business. Yeah it sucks but they are trying to make money and we are trying to save money so it's a natural part of buying a car. If they ask you to come in at this stage do it. Yes it's sales 101 tactics to get the customer in the showroom but it is also the best opportunity to work a deal as you are physically there. It also shows you are serious and willing to buy. In the end we compromised more in my favor and I was happy with the deal. Jun and Andy were great to deal with and the closer guy and the manager treated me well also. I can't recall their names. Overall the experience consumed about 7 hours of my time. I got a follow up call today from Jun. He was checking in to see if I was happy. Yes Jun, I am. So far my opinion of Weatherford is higher than most here. Maybe they're trying to change their ways. I don't know but my experience so far is a positive one. If you deal with Weatherford I would deal with Andy and Jun and no one else. Be patient. Know the facts of the market and the car you want and you should have a similar experience. read more

I had a fantastic experience buying a new BMW at Weatherford. I let them know that I wasn't in a rush and I wanted to wait for the 'right' deal. My salesperson Darek H. listened carefully to my needs and offered to keep me up to date on cars that matched what I was looking for. For more than five months, Darek stayed in contact with me (at my request) and provided me with occasional updates as cars came in to his fleet. At least two other BMW dealers I spoke to seemed more interested in making an immediate sale than making the customer happy. Eventually, one of the cars Darek recommended was exactly what I was looking for at a price that was within the budget I had specified. He didn't try to sell me more car than I needed. This was exactly the kind of car buying experience that I was looking for: low pressure, interactive and simple. What was most important to me about my experience with Darek was that he was honest. He explained exactly which elements of the process may cost me more money and where I might be able to save money. He has an incredible knowledge of BMWs which was useful as I was looking across multiple years and models. He answered all of my questions--many were through email which was very convenient for me. I felt like he treated me like family and took a genuine interest in making sure I was satisfied with my car purchase. I didn't have to play any negotiating 'games' as I had with other car purchases. Darek's (and Weatherford's) transparency throughout the process gave me a lot of confidence that I wasn't getting screwed over. Towards the end of the car buying process I told them that I needed the car shipped to Texas. Not only did Darek arrange for quick (covered) transport of the car to Austin, but the Weatherford back office did all the necessary paperwork to register the car for me in Texas. I got my license plates and window stickers mailed to me by the Texas DMV--all of which was arranged by Weatherford. During the time the car was being shipped from the lot, Darek kept me informed of its whereabouts so I knew when to expect delivery. Having been through high pressure car buying situations before, working with Darek and Weatherford was a welcome change of pace. I highly recommend going to see them if you are looking for an honest, friendly car buying experience. read more

Ok, let me start by saying that I'm self employed and pride myself on providing my clients with stellar customer service, so it's rare that I'm satisfied with the level of service that most companies provide to me, many of which couldn't even spell customer service! This was certainly not the case when I met Maurice and team at Weatherford's remote body repair shop in Oakland, here's why... I bought my BMW from Weatherford a few years back and they're the one's that I bring it to for maintenance and service appointments. When I got into of a fender bender on the freeway a few months ago, Weatherford was naturally my top choice for repairs. I won't mention any names, but let's just say my insurance company got a "triple F" in service, most of which was due to one asshole adjuster. His very first call to me started with him telling me that he got to an argument with my repairmen and he was just going to send me a check for what HE thought the repairs were worth and I'd have to cover the difference between that and what my shop was estimating repairs to me... "Ummm, come again?" Long story short, this guy was a total nightmare to even have a phone convo with and Maurice pretty much confirmed that when I called him a few minutes later. I actually felt bad that he even had to talk with this guy. Without getting into the dirty little details, I knew that if this adjuster was giving me, the consumer, such a hard time then I'm sure Maurice and team were likely catching of the insurance-hell from this bitter little man. Not only did Maurice stay professional and not complain about this guy, he made it seem like it wasn't something that I should be bothered with and reassured me that he would handle this. Additionally he helped get my loaner car setup, transfer my belongings to it, and all while maintaining a smile and a friendly demeanor. In what was originally lining up to be quite the nightmare to go through, Maurice and the fellas at West Grand Ave handled with tact and professionalism. They managed to take some of the stress off my plate and it reminded me that the actual car is only part of what you sign up for when buying a Weatherford BMW, and why my next one will be purchased from them as well. Hat's off to you gentlemen, keep up the good work! read more

Buying a car is stressful by nature. Anytime you are spending thousands upon thousands upon thousands of dollars you are going to have concerns and be worried that your money is being well spent. I was lucky enough to have the pleasure of meeting Boris Star who made both me and my father feel like we were old friends, and made the car buying experience as pleasurable as it can be. I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted when I went in to Weatherford BMW, and Boris was simply awesome about making sure I knew everything possible to make the most informed choice. Before I get into the details of my purchase experience, I should first note that Boris is a Russian gentleman who immediately struck it off with me and my Dad. By the time we left (in an awesome CPO 2010 X5), it felt like we were all old friends. Boris even assured me that he would answer his phone 24-7, and I believe him. He seems like that kind of a guy. I was concerned that when we got to the dealer they might try and upsell us to a new car or a car more expensive than I could afford, but Boris didn't. He listened to what I had to say, then presented me with everything he had that met my criteria. I already knew the basics about the different packages and options available, but Boris's expertise really showed when it came down to the intricacies and nuances of each specific model. He was able not just to explain the different options to me, but the differences in model years as well. This is especially important if you are buying a CPO. For example, the 2009 and 2010 technology packages are different. Boris can tell you what the differences are. All in all, I highly recommend Weatherford BMW's sales department. Everyone else I worked with at Weatherford (the trade-in manager, the finance manager, and Boris) were pleasant and made the whole process as easy and pleasant as possible. Boris made us feel like we could depend on him going forward. I hope I won't have to buy another car for a few more years, but provided the service department provides good service over the next few years, then I will definitely return to Weatherford for my next car purchase. read more

Fantastic! That is my description of the experience I had at Weatherford BMW of Berkeley. On three separate occasions I visited Weatherford in pursuit of buying a car. Five years ago I was looking to purchase a car for my daughter. I stopped in unannounced and received a grand tour of the available cars in my budget range. No pressure and no hassles. Although I didn't make a purchase, I always kept the pleasant experience in mind. More recently, I was in the car market again. I took my time selecting a car, comparing different makes and models. I was looking for a versatile vehicle that had style, performance and some utility characteristics. I wasn't sure I would find it but I gave it a go. I viewed and test drove several car models at dealerships from San Jose to Sacramento during a span of 3 months. I actually walked out of two dealerships because of poor service. I was left waiting at the front counter for 25 minutes at one location. I decided to head back to Weatherford to look at a couple of BMWs (X5 and X6). Again unannounced, I browsed around a few of the cars and a service person told me he would have a sales person to meet me. Once again I was given a tour of the available cars and was allowed to go through the cars to satisfy my questions. I liked both the X5 and X6 with the edge going to the sportier and smaller X6 with a hatchback feature. I decided to think over my options before making my final choice. On my way out, I looked closer at the 550i GT. This car had it all, style, performance versatility. A great feature that appealed to me was the dual trunk hatchback. Lastly, it didn't look like a SUV. I made the third and last visit to Weaterford, I test drove the GT and X6. I decided to purchase the GT. Thanks to "Mr. easy going" John Meier. He was patient and cordial. He should be your next contact to buy a BMW. After doing the paperwork on the purchase, we found out (computer records) he was also the person assisting me when looking to buy a car for my daughter. That first contact certainly set the tone for a purchase some five years later. A bit lengthy here, but go see John! read more

I was a little overly upset coming home on a hot day and not picking up my car as I left it as I had planned and having to call other dealerships to double check if what was said to me was standard policy at other dealerships as well ( I was unable to verify that it was standard practice (one dealership said it was not)(to take the car out on a longish ride after an oil replacement)), but I do not think the service manager was trying to lie to me here.) In the end the service people and service manager were very professional did everything he could do, I am not exactly sure how everything works but had I known I would have asked that they allow me to drive the car home for 5 miles until any "pinging" stops etc....The serice people are nice enough and aim to please, I can't in good heart slam anyone here over this 'small' issue, don't get me wrong it had me pissed and was a bad experience, but they did offer allot to try to make things right and make me happy so Im going to bump it up to a 4 I guess? I thought I had it at one lol initially either way live and let live I suppose things kinda worked out, we don't have enough good days on this earth to spend even one afternoon being out of sorts over small things...I have to always remeber/ remind myself to enjoy life and not hand onto anger/ negativity if overall everything is fine, was a little upset at the time and needed to vent and came out over the top a bit, still take it for what it is I personally don't trust people touching my car unless I meet them first and have good experiences/ know that they give a darn and are super careful with my car(s) i.e. Paint chip knick that I did not put into the cart was not there but was there after I took back the car, even pointed it out. Lucky it was in the bottom corner of the door and was easy to use touch up paint in such an area and did so. They ordered me some OEM touch up paint. Thats the full story I hope my Karma is restored, even if I had a good gripe... read more

Exemplary Service and Unmatched Attention to Detail by Kevin Thomas My wife and I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a 2024 X7 from Weatherford, and our experience was truly exceptional, all thanks to our outstanding salesman Kevin Thomas. From the moment we started the custom ordering process back in April, to the exhilarating day we drove our new BMW home, Kevin's dedication, professionalism, and attention to detail shone brightly. Kevin's extensive knowledge of BMW vehicles was evident throughout the entire process. He patiently guided us through the various packages and purchase options, ensuring that we made an informed decision tailored to our preferences and needs. His passion for BMW cars was contagious, and it made us even more excited about our purchase. What truly set Kevin apart was his unwavering commitment to ensuring our complete satisfaction. He went above and beyond to accommodate our busy schedules, maintaining communication in ways that were convenient for us. He meticulously addressed every question and concern, leaving no stone unturned. It was evident that he genuinely cared about making this experience smooth and enjoyable for us. Even on delivery day, the exceptional service didn't waver. We were introduced to Kevin's BMW genius Sundar who took the time to walk us through every feature of our new X7, ensuring we were comfortable with all the new technology and functions. His enthusiasm and expertise reaffirmed that we had chosen the right dealership. In a world where customer service can sometimes be lacking, Kevin Thomas truly stands out as a shining example of what exceptional service should be. We are absolutely thrilled with our purchase and owe it all to Kevin and his team. Without a doubt, we will recommend him to our friends and family, and anyone in search of a BMW should look no further than Kevin Thomas for a seamless, enjoyable, and memorable car-buying experience. read more
