By the time it was time to replace, they were thorough in explaining the options available, pros/cons of each system, and plan for completing these. Such a rip off they charge over $100 just to give estimate But that's not all they told me at my condo building furnace on top of building is leaking which was incorrect it was ac inside my condo unit they looked didn't know that to do . I called another company ac repair tech professional he pumped out water from ac installed filter and that was it . I would not recommend this business. There are so many other HVAC operations out there, pick another. Our brand new furnace is not heating the second story of our home. After many follow up service calls the owner, Jig, has basically said it's not his problem! Even though we had better heat to our 2nd story with our old system, this HVAC expert says the furnace is working properly. All I know is that the upstairs is now COLD (not just cooler) and severe weather is not here. Therefore I conclude the capabilities of this business appear to be limited to simple installations. Yes, Jig will send someone out to fiddle with things and will repeatedly tell u how responsive he is, but nothing gets better. We are now working with OTHER local HVAC companies who are troubleshooting and offering solutions. There were other issues with this business that I won't go into since the bottom line is we hv a new furnace that doesn't heat our home properly. Save yourself money, trouble and A L of time and hire somewhere else. Update: Hooray for Dave and Doug from Done Right Heating and Cooling (8473791234)!! They came in listened to our issues and went to work, evaluating, measuring, adjusting and fixing issues caused by WeatherGuard, a company that makes excuses and walks away. Done Right had no chance of selling a furnace, they just wanted to get us comfortable in our home. They worked with much professionalism and competency!! Thank you Doug and Dave Update: Jig, owner, actually called our new HVAC team and questioned them about their findings...Another example of unprofessionalism! Who does that! CONCLUSION: Humidifier makes a huge difference in home comfort. Jig's team cut the wires to existing humidifier without even discussing it with us. Successful repair done by the new team. Humidifier re-engaged, settings adjusted, vent leak patched etc. we are finally good to go. Jig's and his team dismissed our issues and DID not resolve any of these issues. Amen. read more

I had been getting quotes from many HVAC companies and everyone was wayyyyy expensive. Dharmen was the best priced and with a good high end model American Standard. He absolutley worked with my budget and schedule and explained everything step by step. The installation was fast, clean, and efficient they took care ofeverything. MY unit works great and my co worker recently had his put in by anothercompany but paid double and I could not believe how well priced this unit was. Also he quoted me one price for 24 ft of coil but i ended up needing 35ft n although i know that is alot more he said he quoted me a price hes going to stick with the price. Other companies dont care how tight your budget may be thy will say its extra so i really respect that he stood by his word. Needed to check on a broken furnace and it needed to be replaced. I knew since it was over 20 years old the news wasn't going to be good but he was very honest and did say they could still fix it or replace it. Two months ago our AC just went out out of nowhere. It was in the 90s and expected to stay that way all week. With the temperature in our house at 75 degrees and climbing, and having a baby and two dogs we knew we had to get it fixed ASAP. I messaged WeatherGuard after finding a couple of business nearby on Yelp and him having the best reviews and he responded quickly! Since I called him closer to 7pm (after I got home from work) he sent someone out to check out my unit and mentioned that it would have to get replaced eventually since it was an older unit. He switched something and rewired my unit and my unit started working again! But then something happened and it stopped working again. The tech said he needed to come back the next day since he didn't have the part in his van and it was already dark. That's fine I figured it was my fault for calling so late. Next day rolls around and the owner Jig reached out and said that he was making sure that some one would get there today to fix our unit since he knew I had a baby and dogs in the house. He was super nice and attentive he would always message me and keep me in the know of what was going on. The tech comes back fixes the AC and Jig tells me that if I need help picking out a new unit that he can let me know what the best prices are for AC units are so I don't overpay. As a new homeowner I was super scared about this whole experience, as I knew it'd be expensive. You can definitely feel that WeatherGuard has your best interests at heart and I felt super comfortable with them and knew that they weren't gouging me at all. Very good customer service. I was contacted within 10mins of an yelp request and they scheduled a visit that same day. There was no up charges, no hidden fees and they didn't push anything on me. My furnace wasn't working and after an hour of troubleshooting they corrected the problem and voila I have a working furnace upstairs. I appreciated that they mentioned how important a carbon monoxide detector was to have in the room where the furnace was, as it was a dated furnace and just to be extra careful. I had a carbon monoxide detector go off on a Sunday morning at my new house we just purchased, and called WeatherGuard. Jig was able to have one of his techs come inspect the 2 furnaces by 1pm and determined one had to be replaced. They took photos and gave us a detailed explanation of what was wrong. I've been using WeatherGuard for the past year and recently moved into a new house which immediately had some Furnace & A/C issues. They came out right away on a Friday night and spent 5 hours troubleshooting the issue and making numerous improvements until they found the ultimate problem and fixed it. It wasn't until 10pm that night while using handheld flashlights until they had everything working smoothly. They not only informed me of everything they found and everything they were working on, but they also credited me back a good portion of their labor time since they had to go back to their shop for other tools and parts they didn't have on the truck at that time. NIGHTMARE! This is a late review because I was out of town for a couple weeks, but I wanted to let people know about these scammers. So my furnace stopped working, so my wife and I needed it fixed ASAP because of the baby. I searched online and noticed Weatherguard was somewhat local to us, and reasonable price check up. The technician Dharmen came over that very evening when we called them. As Dharmen was welcomed in our home, there was something very off about him. He started to sweat when he walked in (our indoor temperature was about 59 degrees) , bug eyed, walking around in circles looking at his cell talking to himself and even knocked over our coffee table as he attempted to look at the thermostat. He seemed very nervous, confused, stuttering and kept repeating the same sentence over and over ! He was definitely under the influence of something. He told me I needed a new motor, thermocouple and a gas valve unit. So it was a lot of money ($1200 exactly but would knock off the $50 service fee), and then I asked how much is a new furnace was. The new furnace was about $425 more then the repairs that he STRONGLY recommended to do the repairs on my 18 year old furnace. So I told him wouldn't it be better to get a new furnace? He said no just to fix these problems, kept pushing it on us otherwise we would have to wait a week or so for installation. So I told him, my wife and I have to talk this over. He looked desperate to sell us these repairs and started lowering his pricing down. After I told him that I will just pay the service fee for coming out, he wasn't comprehending and just stood there staring at his phone mumbling words and he was profusely sweating a puddle on my new hardwood floors. I had my wife go into another room in case she would have to call the police. She was frightened by his actions. We decided to call another company for a 2nd opinion , and the OTHER company told us is was just a simple thermocouple replacement, and spent a total of $125 for the visit with repair, VS $1200 repair quote from Weatherguard. The other heating company told me that guy who was trying to charge me for all the parts was a crook, and probably keep my working parts. The story gets better! I wanted to contact the owner of Weatherguard the following day to let them know about there technician Dharmen, well he is the OWNER! I was in shock! I will never recommend these crooks to anyone! BEWARE OF WEATHERGUARD!!!! I wish I would have done some research on the company prior to picking up the phone, but since have found my savior Heating Company on Yelp! Defining customer service - this is what WeatherGuard does on a daily basis. In the middle of the worst winter we've had, furnace dies. Called several companies, all addressing the "new furnace" solution. I chose WeatherGuard. All well and wonderful and yet in a couple of weeks, the furnace dies once more. The owner arrives, we hope it fixes the issue, all well. And yet with another hit of winter, the furnace dies again. Several solutions tried and finally, we change the entire drainage solution and... voila - it works! Despite the glitches with the product (and exhaust/drainage solution within the home), the owner, Dharmen, took all my calls, even if at 4 am or 11 pm, came to assess the problem and never gave up until we found the solution! I cannot say enough of how incredibly patient and determined Dharmen has been in trying to resolve and in succeeding to fix the problem with our heating. He checked on us, he emailed, SMS-ed, called... how amazing is this...? Bravo to Dharmen and his team for being there for the customer, for not giving up and for standing by their promise to make things work! Bravo for a job well done, beginning to end!
