This is. A hot little breakfast or brunch spot, only open until 2pm, so they know how to do breakfast. Prices are moderate, servings are huge ! I had the big breakfast burrito and could only eat about half of it. Green and red chile was tasty, the green was HOT! Service was top notch, I love restaurants that leave a full decanter of coffee at the table so I can drink my java at my own speed. It was tasty, a little on the spicy side for my taste but that's to be expected when dealing with red and green chili's. Pretty unremarkable fare, but my girlfriend's spicy papas bowl saved it from being a 3-star review. I tried their Philly cheesesteak, and while it wasn't bad, I think you're doing it wrong if you order anything other than the papas at Weck's. read more

I absolutely LOVE Wecks. The bacon is always cooked to perfection and the green chile is so good! My 2 and 4 year old love getting their fresh breakfast donuts and I prefer "The Original" Papas to just about anything on the menu unless I'm watching my diet. When I'm eating healthy I'll order the three eggs with two strips of bacon, sourdough and a side of green chile. read more

I ordered a California Chicken Melt and it took 45 minutes to get my order. My sweet Potato Fries were delivered cold. When I ordered my sandwich I asked my waiter if this sandwich had onions and he said no. Then 20 minutes later he said they were remaking my sandwich because the guacamole has onions in it and they don't make it in the restaurant. They served it without guac. This was pretty disappointing. The assistant manager did pick up my bill so that was thoughtful. read more

Mediocre at best. Been there twice, and can't figure out why they are so busy. 2nd visit we had to wait about 25 minutes, and then the food was bland. I had short stack, and the pancakes were bland. My gal had eggs and hash browns. Again, nothing to get excited about., On the plus side, out waitress was super nice and have us good service. Great food! They have the best green Chile! You can even buy a bottle and take it home with you. They give you large portions and it's worth every penny. If you go on Saturday expect to wait for a few minutes. If your in town Monday through Thursday they have $2 huervos ranchero which is amazing! read more

Server said the portions were big but it didn't look like it. The food was delicious. The hamburger bun was crispy like I like it as was the bacon. The burger was my greasy . The fresh fruit was just that ... Fresh! Excellent service. The server kept checking up on us. read more

Best fast food /diner breakfast around. Mostly standard food, but get a papas bowl for something less ordinary.

To much hashbrowns, I'm not much of a potato eater. I still Weck's in Albuquerque is better.

The chili is delish and the hash browns are fresh, definitely not the frozen/reheat kind. This is my husband and I's go to breakfast spot.

Need a carbo load, running a marathon? Weck's is your place. It is a great place for a fill up, and the service is very good. Solid spot for breakfast. The pancakes are good. I like the corned beef hash with green chile, it's not on the menu but you can get it if you ask. I wish the red chile was better, outside of a few spots in Albuquerque and Santa Fe not very many places in New Mexico do red chile great. I don't want powder, and I don't want a roux laden gravy. Best Breakfast ever!!! Have tried several different items, Papas Bowl, Pancakes, Omelets and all have been fabulous and the iced tea is very very good. I love the fact that they don't overcharge for your iced tea and they give you a full to-go cup if you desire..Best idea ever.
