This is an update to a review I did in April of 2026. My friends and I had our dining experience disrupted by a cockroach at our table. We had no complaints about our food but we were not pleased either how poorly the manager dealt with that situation. I am amending my review to say that the upper management responded to our concerns in a timely manner and has since generously compensated my 2 friends and I. My wife made reservations for my birthday. We arrived on time and no one was at the greeting desk. Five minutes later a guy asked if we had reservations, we replied yes. Five minutes later a guy, we think was a head waiter, said yes we can seat them . Another 10 minutes and finally they showed us to a table, half booth half chairs. By this time we all were pretty much ready to go somewhere else. I talked it over with my wife and sister and we decided to find another restaurant. The reception area of Red Lobster was filthy and the carpets were also filthy. Red Lobster nationwide has had financial problems... I can see why. I've been here many times and had a great experience. Tonight was not the case. It started with our drink order. I noted I was really thirsty and needed a water but then ordered a 20oz beer because it was happy hour. Got no water and was underserved my beer. They failed to bring my salad or biscuits. They apologized and brought two biscuits for two of us. Then dinners came, no salad. I said to just skip the salad because I don't want my food to get cold. Then my food.../ for the shrimp Alfredo and it barely had any sauce, it was practically dry. I got the salad taken off, but not discount. I told the manager about my experience and he stated it was our girls first night. He said I should have talked to a manager. Oh, so this was my fault? It was a busy Saturday night. Food was good. But, at our table near the kitchen, we were visited by a cockroach not once, but twice. I caught it twice, the second time the manager took care of it. However, the manager never gave us an option to change tables. The manager, after prompting from us, comped us one, just one, dessert. There were three of us. And three coupons that needed to be used within a month. Unlikely any of us would make use of them as we live out of town. Very disappointing experience. We drove into Farmington to get errands done and saw the Red Lobster and decided to get an early dinner. Very early dinner as it was only 3 p.m. but I decided I wanted lobster as soon as I saw the sign. Found a place to park easily, walked inside and the hostess greeted us and sat us immediately. There were plenty of booths which had high wooden sides. This is especially nice because you don't really see the people sitting next to you, and it helps keep noise levels down. I ordered lobster, grilled shrimp, and grilled scallops with mashed potatoes and asparagus. There was a lot of butter on the plate for the lobster, which may have been overkill. Luckily the shrimp and scallops were on skewers so that kept them out of the butter. All of it was delicious! My S.O. ordered the lobster pasta with asparagus. He really enjoyed that dish. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and checked on us periodically. I rarely go to chain restaurants but really enjoyed this meal. read more

Horrible serving. Cold soup and no biscuits to eat w my soup . We arrived 8:02 pm and at 8:59 still waiting on biscuits. Two couples left, they came in after us. Pasta Alfredo served were stuck together in clumps. Unbelievable, I ordered cold slaw, got broccoli. 9:08 finally biscuits arrived, but now my soup is cold, my wife said the broccoli is crunchy and hard. We informed the manager and he took it upon himself and redid the pasta Alfredo. Thank you manager 9:35 we left. I hope this was just a one time mess up, goodness gracious. read more

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! My family and I came in for dinner, we weren't greeted at the door, we waited to be seated....20 mins later we finally got seated. We placed our drink order took 30 mins to come out, we then placed our order for our food, We had a 9 month old that was doing great in the beginning for the fist 45 mins(after we got our drinks) and we waited and waited she got hungry and fuzzy so we needed up taking her outside and we did not enjoy our food or any check in on our table, our waitress no where to be found until she brought our food, she also didn't not apologize for how long our food took to come out! We were just over it at this point, NO MANAGER EVER CAME TO OUT TABLE buuut a waiter came by and I informed him about our situation and kindly offered 20% of our check. Point being for a 145 dollar check I would've expected faster or quicker service and awareness of your server also. I will never eat at this restaurant again or recommend it to my relatives or anyone! Very disappointed! read more

For a chain restaurant, the staff makes or breaks your experience. The waitress was friendly and attentive. The manager on duty that night was also great. Only con, it was cold in the restaurant and got colder by the end of our meal. read more

My husband and I decided for once we going to eat something different and very nice quiet lunch. I order a lobsters feast and my husband ordered something with clams and lobsters with pasta. My husband went out to may a call. I stayed in the booth waited for our food. Their was a young man. If I remember right his name was Davin. I think he has glaseses and some percing. Gauges on his ears. Any way he was loud yelling at the servers and even the greeter that took us to our table. Very nice young gal with red hair. Our waitress was awesome. But this person that was yelling at his co worker needs be to talk to or let go. Made my lunch a little uncomfortable and little loud. Other that food was great. read more

We took my Mom there last weekend and was never even really greeted at the front and felt put upon by the hostess for being seated. Our waitress was good, great service. One thing to mention is whomever was "in charge" was loud with the servers and they were not even doing anything wrong. You could tell it was tense. The food came out good, the overall experience was good other than the hostess who had a mask just on her mouth, never wearing it correctly so I don't understand why it was on in the first place was the one who set the mood unfavorable for us but the food was good, atmosphere was okay, we will probably go back sometime in the future. read more

We drive an hour for a Birthday lunch. We wanted Crab Alfredo. (My husband's favorite & the entire reason we went to Red lobster). We were told the they no longer have it. They do have chicken, shrimp & lobster pasta. They offered to make it with lump crab. When I inquired what lump crab was I was told imitation crab. Really? We are eating dinner right at this hour, the green salad that's served has rotten pieces of lettuce, no mushrooms available for appetizer that's why we opted for the salad. This red lobster is finally open my husbandMy husband usually orders the admirals feast and I decided to try something different so I ordered the jumbo parrot island shrimp with the coconut piña colada sauce which they did give me extra and it was amazing absolutely amazing everything about the night was fantastic we got seated right away our server was there filling our drinks and being very helpful The table across from us had ordered all kinds of fancy drinks and his check was over $400 I can't wait to go to the red lobster where my granddaughter works in Florida might even order a non-Alcoholic beverage! read more

It's not a bad place to go. Little outdated and the menu is basic. The food was ok. But I wouldn't recommend anything with a steak. They can't cook that good. Service is not bad, they do slack at times but overall not too bad. I would recommend going once in a while. read more

I love the food from Red Lobster but the service was despicable when I tried to make a simple change to an online order. It was delivered an hour earlier than expected. Some of the order was missing. I called and tried to talk to two different people who didn't seem to understand what I was saying. I did not have bubble gum in my mouth. The food is great! But what ticked us off was the waiter Jesse for not having courtesy an not being professional. We ordered our food an drinks, but it was my oldest son's birthday dinner. The waiter Jesse never asked if we were celebrating anything. An making a smirk laugh because we wanted to change one drink, he stood there an looked at us for a good minute, like he was gonna say something rude but instead he laughed in our face an gave us the WTF face look. They must really like their lobster in Farmington, NM the parking lot was full both times I was here. They share the parking lot with Serious Texas BBQ but it didn't seem like anyone was there. Surprisingly this location seems larger than the Red Lobster I've been to in Vegas. As always you are greeted by a tank full of lobsters saying please don't eat me please don't eat me. Sorry guys please pass the lobster. Took a peak at the bar area, seemed like a full bar to me with a few flat screens. There was an NBA game going so I was there a bit. Really liked the Malibu Hurricane drink and the Cheddar Bay Biscuits. The Maple-Glazed Salmon and Shrimp was pretty good but not as good as the Ultimate Feast (lobster, crab legs, and shrimp). No room for dessert but if I did the Chocolate Wave was calling me both nights. One of the night it looked like one of the parties just devoured their food, crab legs and lobster shells were all over the table and ground, a big mess. I had dinner there and wasn't disappointed. It's been a long time since I ate at a red lobster and I was a little hesitant since I'm out of town on business. I couldn't believe how good it was with the flavors and cooked to perfection. The bonus was that they give a military discount as well. Dine in, I rate a 5! Always good service, fast and excellent food! However... the to go... that's a whole different story. Every single time we order to go, the order is 1. Cold 2. Missing items. 3. Just thrown together. No matter if you specify something you want that's already included (ranch for the salad, tarter etc), it's ALWAYS MISSING. It is seriously ALWAYS AN ISSUE. They have to get to-go training or something for those of us that love the food but don't have time to dine in. You'd think we would learn to check the order by now but we just figure they cant get it messed up every time... and yet, it's still bad. Now there is an exception....There is a gentleman by the name of BJ that ALWAYS ensures your order is perfect. Extra condiments and plasticware. Main Street in Farmington is a busy and congested roadway on a Saturday; after all the shopping is done, a meal in a local restaurant is much desired. Getting there by 4:30pm for dinner, there was already a wait list of approximately 30 minutes, but we were seated within 20 minutes. Our waiter, Eddie, was quick to take our drink order and left us to look over the menu, including the new specials for "Crab Fest". For appetizers, we decided on the Crab Stuffed Mushrooms; mushroom caps stuffed with chunks of crab meat and smothered in cheese. Also the Parmesan Crab Dip; shredded crab in a creamy sauce and encrusted in a parmesan cheese layer; thin pieces of toast for either dipping in the crab mixture, or spread on with a knife. Hubby and I were not in the mood for cracking crab legs, even though they looked very tempting, but opted for easier to eat meals. He had the Steak and Shrimp Oscar; a tender steak topped with shrimp and asparagus in a lobster cream sauce. I decided to have the Wood Grilled Lobster Tail, Shrimp and Scallops; all perfectly cooked with the seafood succulent and seasoned well. The rice pilaf which came with the dish was moist and flavorful; the broccoli steamed, but still having a crunch to it. Our waiter continued to be attentive, making sure our drink glasses were always filled, and that the food was very much to our liking. As much as we would have liked to have dessert, we were very content and happy with the appetizers and dinners we had just enjoyed.
