I don't feel that I experienced that. I found a clinic that I feel is a better fit for the sensory and feeding concerns I have for my child.

After advising my wife that the speech therapy was covered by my insurance, my son was treated for 4 months and the slap in the face that followed was the same people that told us we were covered, were then telling us we weren't. They didn't tell us after a few visits, they waited for us to rack up a significant bill that we couldn't afford to pay. To take it a step further, in the midst of this dispute, they sent us to collections and it's now on my credit report. If you deal with these people, don't take their word for anything, check with your insurance provider.

The facility's Administration has an open door policy and has been willing to listen to issues or concerns I had or my family members had, and then quickly addressed them. Staff members, from Nurses, to CNAs, to Housekeepers and Maintenance have been highly responsive and attentive, and the facility is kept very clean. The facility also has an excellent Physical and Occupational Therapy staff who really go out of their way to work with the residents who receive therapy. After requesting it several times, we never received anything. We expect it to be DOCTORED. Even after my husband asked for it, we are still waiting. Everyone has a right to their own and their child's medical records and progress notes within a reasonable amount of time. It's been over 2 weeks and they haven't sent ANYTHING. The attendance policy is written about being in the lobby 5 minutes before the session ends or not accumulating 5 CX or no shows. There was ONE instance where I came in the lobby as soon as the session ended and one where I came in three minutes before his session was over because I was dealing with our infant in our vehicle. Neither count against CX/NS. Asked for that and they sent NOTHING and said it would be $20 too. Let me reiterate that I never left the parking lot and I parked directly in front of the door so they could see that I was still there. I have never been late and have had to PERSONALLY cancel ONCE on 06/02. All other cancellations or no-shows can't be attributed to me because I was not the one that called our child off. They claimed to not even have my number . I was then told that he was now on week to week and that I was banned from bringing him because I had a poor attendance track record. I asked how can I be when I just recently started bringing him and the only time that I had to personally call him off was when there was an unfortunate incident I was not able to bring him 06/02. They said they can do what they want and banning wasn't written in their policy. Any of the other call offs were when others were bringing him because I never called him off nor was I bringing him to these sessions. When pressed further, there was an attitude, they were recording phone calls, as of some sort of intimidation tactic, which all phone calls/interactions are audio/video recorded from our side anyway. Taylor ganged up on me and scolded me if I was a child. They told me that I had a poor track record of bringing him when I had just started bringing him recently since his sessions began back in February 2026. When pressed about being banned for "attendance track record" being in writing they said that it wasn't in writing and I said well how do you attribute absences to someone that you have never talked to until a couple of weeks ago. They had no answer and that's why I don't feel safe with our son being there. I asked to speak to the owner and of course she never called back and this has been two weeks ago. So, we will be effectively removing our son out of this "program" because they literally make up things as they go and you cannot discriminate against someone bringing a child to a session. There have been no threats or anything that would make the staff feel unsafe but it seems like people start throwing around inflammatory statements when you start asking them why they aren't doing their job. Asking for progress notes is customary and assists with continuity of care, it should be a way to access these without having to beg 2-3 times, get ignored, & not receiving anything in return. The behavior of Taylor and the "owner", Stephanie, is unprofessional. Welcome to the world of parents actually holding you accountable and asking for things they have access to by law. There has been no call from the owner, as promised by Taylor (and was recorded), no email of our son's session records ending the week of 06/01. We don't just want the EVAL FROM FEBRUARY. We need session notes that show what our insurance has been paying for and our insurance stated that they have ZERO idea of that you're talking about claiming "push back" so they won't pay. Our son had the flu and wanted us to bring him to 2 sessions to get everyone sick. They said, "So what?" Complaints have been filed against Crown Speech with licensing and other regulatory agencies. We have audio and video proof that proves no one was threatening and you admitting to making up discriminatory attendance rules as you go. UPDATE: Of course, calling my husband to "tattle tale" made this no better. You cannot fire my 3 year old when TODAY, 06/08, was his last session with your program. Again, you still kept him on as a client AFTER you degraded and spoke to me in a demeaning tone so the phone call to my husband a few minutes ago was for what? You weren't dealing with me, remember? I put your business conduct out there for other parents to see and now you're angry. Just send us his RECORDS and session notes and eliminate your discriminatory behavior and practices.

And the front desk is not very friendly. The doctors seem to be offering only surgery as an option, which I guess is understandable as that is what they are trained to do. However, it would have been good to offer physical therapy as a way to possibly resolve my issues before just jumping to not one, but two surgeries, and then only to say that because of the surgeries my arthritis is now much much worse. Not happy with the outcome.

My experience with Ignite Medical Resort Dyer was extremely disappointing and concerning. Based on…read morewhat I observed during my loved one's stay, I believe the facility falls far short of the standard of care and professionalism that its name suggests. On the very first day of admission, there was a cloth chair in my loved one's room that appeared to have dried human waste on the armrest. I immediately brought this to the attention of the staff. After investigating, I was assured that the chair would be removed right away. However, three days later, the chair remained in the room. Throughout the stay, the level of care, responsiveness, and bedside manner displayed by many of the nursing and CNA staff was unacceptable. The facility appeared to be understaffed, and there was a noticeable lack of urgency when patients required assistance. On numerous occasions, we used the call button to request help for my loved one. Not once did a nurse or CNA respond to the call button in a timely manner. Each time, a family member had to physically walk to the nurses' station to request assistance before anyone responded. My loved one shared a room with another patient, and I frequently overheard that patient calling out for help. She could often be heard moaning, groaning, and asking for assistance for extended periods. When staff eventually entered the room, I was shocked to hear them scold the patient, telling her that she was "always calling" and that she "didn't want anything." Witnessing this interaction was deeply troubling and demonstrated a lack of compassion and respect for a vulnerable resident. Another concern was the apparent lack of engagement with residents. Many elderly patients spent entire days sitting near the nurses' station with little to no interaction from staff. They appeared isolated, disengaged, and unhappy. The most disturbing issue occurred when I noticed what initially appeared to be clumps of dirt or lint along the wall behind my loved one's bed. Upon closer inspection, I discovered that the area was covered with hundreds, if not thousands, of ants crawling along the wall and throughout the room. I immediately reported the issue to staff. One CNA responded by saying, "Well, I just got here." A nurse then acknowledged that she had already informed the day aide about the ant problem. This indicated that staff were already aware of the infestation, yet no action had been taken to resolve it or relocate the patient. When I expressed my concern and disgust regarding the situation, the nurse rolled her eyes and told me that I should contact maintenance about the ants. I found this response unprofessional and inappropriate, especially given that the issue involved patient health, safety, and sanitation. My final negative interaction occurred during the discharge process. The nurse manager reviewed my loved one's discharge instructions and medications. When I asked questions regarding follow-up medications, I was met with visible irritation and an unwelcoming attitude, as though asking questions about my loved one's care was an inconvenience. I strongly believe the facility should reevaluate its hiring practices, staff training, accountability measures, cleanliness standards, and responsiveness to patient concerns. Patients and families deserve compassionate care, professional communication, and a clean, safe environment. The one positive aspect of our experience was the therapy department. I did observe meaningful improvement in my loved one's therapy progress, and the therapy staff appeared dedicated to their work. They were the bright spot in an otherwise disappointing experience. I was relieved when my loved one was discharged from Ignite Medical Resort Dyer. Based on my experience, I would not choose this facility again. I encourage families with loved ones in nursing homes or rehabilitation facilities to visit frequently and remain actively involved in their care. The person in charge of nutrition didn't even know what meds my dad was on. He went downhill so fast there that we said we were calling 911. They ended up doing bloodwork and sending him after we said that. Got to the hospital and it turns out none of the bloodwork they sent was his. I'm pretty sure they fudged it just to get him out of there so they weren't liable.
