Overall, they took just over an hour for all the repairs and then explained everything they completed by taking me on a "tour" of the repairs until I was satisfied. I was very pleased to find Legacy Plumbing who clearly had the best reviews for plumbing services in the Dallas area. I asked them to send their top-notch expert technician, and I was very fortunate that they sent Jason and his excellent assistant (Ricardo) to my home the next day. They carefully removed (and disposed of) my old water heater and did a beautiful job of installing the new one (it was made by A.O. Smith Corporation). The installation job required several hours but it was clearly done properly. During the entire installation process, Jason kept me well informed. I highly recommend Legacy Plumbing for any plumbing or water heater installation needs. This is a very professional company what goes out of its way to provide exceptional customer service. There was no sales pitch and no pressure. As I have always said, selecting a reputable company and high-quality equipment is important, but having it installed properly by a team of highly knowledgeable experts is the most important aspect of the job. This was done to protect the integrity of the foundation. This was not the original plan and Chris asked if I would like to get a second opinion. With the original plan changing he offered to waive his fees while I got a second opinion. The work was done in a timely fashion and resolved the problem. It was a pleasure doing business with Chris.

The BIG surprise was when I asked him how much I owed for this visit/repair. No charge. I've found my plumber for life, just like I found my HVAC person for life.

These plumbers did our home inspection follow up on the overall home inspection. The charge was…read more$250. When it came time to do the work I guess I must have misunderstood bc they denied saying it. The two things pointed out were both to resolve when new cartridges were installed. That did resolve one problem but not the other. When it came time to pay they included a $200+ charge for diagnosing the hot water valve on an upstairs tub. When I pointed out they had misdiagnosed it they withdrew the charge. Further I asked the professional plumber what did he think needed to be done. When he told me he would need to break through the tile that the tub sat in to figure it out I drew the line, called the builder who gave us the contact for the plumbers who did the work at original build 5 years ago. They immediately sent out their plumber who diagnosed it on the spot as a valve behind a little door no tile needed breaking, that protects young children from getting scalded. They ordered the part, came back and installed two new massage shower heads checked every bit of plumbing and two hours later charged me $400 parts and labor. $125for the valve and labor total $400 and cleared every sink, all faucets one of which btw the initial plumber said needed replacement, made the entire house feel like all the plumbing was brand new. Do I recommend these guys at Anchot? Would you? Solid one star. They earned it.

They cut numerous holes in our walls and still failed to restore proper plumbing. Instead, they bypassed and canceled two manifolds, which resulted in no hot water to our kitchen and laundry room (documented). When they returned to "fix" the problem, they made things worse by creating dead‑end lines, causing hot‑water circulation issues throughout the house and leaving multiple areas with only lukewarm water. They then attempted to charge us an additional $800 for this. After multiple follow‑ups and excuses (all documented), the company ultimately stopped responding altogether. We were forced to hire a licensed plumber to correct their work by running new lines to our kitchen and laundry room. We know we were ripped off, and I'm sharing this so others don't make the same mistake. Do not consider using this company.

Sadly, the owner of Nick's passed away and this company is now owned by Dunrite. I called that company based on the reviews of Nick's Air Services, but their services has definitely NOT been the same as mentioned on this profile. In summary, this company is expensive, can make improper recommendations, and the office is very difficult to get anyone to call you back. I absolutely would not use them again in the future and - had I read their Yelp profile for Dunrite Heating & Cooling - would never have called them in the first place. My experience: My air conditioning due to leaked refrigerant due to another HVAC technician not correct. Nick's/Dunrite came out during the same day and quickly identified the problem. There was a leak on the schrader valve. They got us back to running - for nearly $200/per pound of refrigerant. 5 lbs = about $1,000. Wow, but we had no choice as my original installer was not available. Our unit has not been keeping up with the 90s for the past two months and the technician recommended 3 different options. I chose 2 of the 3 options: a larger return air duct AND repairing the plenum. I was anxious to get the work scheduled and it took me hounding them to get them to schedule the work. Communicating with this office was very painful. I would never get calls back and would just get a text message indicating when they had scheduled the appointment. Their front desk support was exceedingly helpful but not empowered to do anything besides schedule appointments and pass along info. I finally had the appointment and the technician went to the wrong address. I got a call from them saying they had been at my house and then they proceeded to the next job. I spoke to them and learned they were at the wrong house, but could not turn around to go back to my house. I had to wait until the following week to get the appointment rescheduled. What a disaster. It got worse. The work was finally done - the return air duct and the plenum. I waited a couple of days, but there was NO change in the air conditioning. I called them back again and they scheduled another technician to come out. The second technician came out, a more senior technician, who confirmed that the unit was undersized and "working as it was designed" to cool at 75-76. I don't know a single person who is comfortable with 75-76 in the house when the outside is in the 90s. I called customer service again. When I finally got someone, I got a call from William, who is their most senior technician (an older guys in his late-50s probably). He came out with the original technical and instructed him how to properly do a heat load calculation. They determined indeed the unit is undersized and I needed a 3 ton. I called back the customer service asking for a refund to the work. I've called at least 3-4 times, each time speaking with a very nice person. However, I've still not been called back. What a disaster. I've finally had to resort to filing a complaint with my credit card and disputing it through them. It's unfortunate and I didn't want to have to do this, but - when no one will call you back - it's very very hard to trust this company to make things right.

He was quick to return my call. We made an appointment and he showed up. I needed my dining, living, kitchen and breakfast areas painted and was interested in removing the popcorn if the price was doable. The price was good so the whole area got a makeover. They arrived on time. Everything was covered and taped down. Omar and his helper worked diligently only stopping for a short lunch break. He was very organized in his schedule. While waiting for things to dry, he did something else. No time wasted. He finished in 2 days. The ceiling has an orange peel texture and that ugly, dated popcorn is history. The walls are bright and fresh and the change makes the room look bigger. They cleaned up quickly, swept and then put the furniture back to original positions. I cannot recommend Omar enough, especially if you want to enter the abyss of popcorn removal. lol Several months later: I called Omar back to do some work in my kitchen--areas that were too high for me to reach. I wanted him to finish painting my kitchen cabinets and to do the trim around the top. I told him I was very picky about my cabinets and did not want any drips or dragging from using too much paint. He was painting dark blue cabinets and the walls were white. He did a perfect job blending where I stopped and he finished. There were no places where the blue paint got onto the white. There was a issue with what was covered in the price he quoted me. The quote was based on pics I sent him from my phone. He wasn't careful when he read what I needed and didn't look at the pictures closely. But he honored the price he quoted me and did the work. Two younger guys were behind the counter were helping other people. Moron number 1 got a womans keys from her and put them in a plastic sleeve. He handed them to a rough looking tech from the shop and the tech just threw them on a desk, without any care or professionalism. So I'm standing there the two morons behind the counter are just standing there not doing anything. Then a pretty young girl walks in to pick up her car, and they are fighting to help her, and I'm just standing there. I turn to leave and they never say a word to me. I go outside and ask the Moron manager Keith if he is in fact the manager and why I was never helped? He got really defensive and and said, "I will help you, but he was already helping another guy. I told him that this was not the service I expected, and that Firestone was just down the road. He told me that I should go there. I should have known, because the parking lot was almost empty.
