He gave me the option to try another location or sign up for the care pass and have it mailed for free. He explained many of the benefits of the care pass, as well as my option to cancel if I don't need it once my trial is ending. The carepass came with a $10 reward for signing up so I browsed half of the store. They had more things than my local CVS and it was very clean/organized. With my $10 coupon and some other promotions, I spent less than $2 and got 8 packs of floss and 150 pack of floss picks that my son prefers to use. Rob was so friendly and helpful/knowledgeable and the store was so nice I was surprised to come here and see the low overall rating. It was a great shopping experience in my book!

The CVS is inside it and is basically just the Target Pharmacy with the CVS Banner on it and it is a good Pharmacy although it's really expensive but the good thing about it is that if you happen to be in Target and you need some CVS stuff then it's all in one go. But if you want to come specifically for the CVS then I totally wouldn't do it if I were you because having to come to a Target just to get your Pharmacy stuff could be really annoying and having to deal with all the Target crowds could be a little bit of a waste of time for you especially in this Plaza cuz it's right on Niagara Falls Boulevard which is one of the busiest roads with one of the busiest malls and I would just steer clear unless you happen to be shopping at the Target. Barbie says: CVS must stand for Carries Various Sundries. Their prices are usually expensive, but if you sign up for the rewards card, you can use different coupons to make things more affordable. I think that's terrible customer service especially when I paid for a 20 by 30 not 24 by 36. I had a severe respiratory infection and for four days I could not get my prescription. If it would not be so though, I would have probably skip my review although there were many cases when medicine was not ready in time or not prepared at all. When my doctor learned I suffered three days without the prescribed medication, she moved the prescription into my nearest supermarket, where it was ready in a matter of couple of hours. I do not like an idea of waking in a store, although in mask, spreading my bugs, but 2 hours versus several days makes a lot of difference. Never ever I will use that pharmacy again

I happen to work overnights, and ever since the Covid Era this pharmacy has had limited hours and staff. I used to be able to pick up my prescriptions before or after work - but not anymore. Now, they're closed when I wake up for work and they don't open until three hours after I get out of work. Because I am an adult with a life and other obligations: it is difficult for me to get to Walgreens to pick up my prescription at the very moment it is ready. I recently went into the pharmacy to pick up a script that the app said was ready and - they had cancelled it because I 'did not pick it up in time.' This is not the first time that this has happened to me. I promise I am not lazy, it is just impossible for me to get there the same day. If I have to wait a couple of days - screw me, I guess, because then the prescription has been cancelled and I have to wait 45+ minutes in the store for them to fill it again. On my most-recent trip, the cashier was...and I'm sorry to say this, but I didn't get her name...a hood-rat looking young woman. She had a bad dye job, too-dark makeup, and a nasty attitude. I'd ask her a question ('How long after a prescription is ready do you cancel if it it isn't picked up?') and she'd respond with rolled eyes and an unrelated question ('Did you wanna wait for it or nah?') She mumbled a lot, too: not just to herself but also while speaking to me. She was barely audible, except when I said: 'No, don't bother filling it, I'm not waiting,' and I turned to walk away. Then is when she SCREAMED: 'Well that was rude!!!' Oh, I was rude? For expecting to pick up my prescription that the app said was ready & waiting to be picked up? Alright, then. I filed a complaint about her on the Walgreens site. I moved my prescriptions elsewhere. This pharmacy is a joke. The app is annoying. You can either enable or disable notifications. If you don't enable notifications then you aren't notified when your prescriptions are ready. And a lot of times, you'll get a 'Your prescription is processing' notification, then a 'Your prescription is ready' notification immediately followed by a 'Your prescription is delayed' notification - and then no further notifications, so you have no idea whether your prescription is ready or or not unless you call the pharmacy. I've called the pharmacy - the typical wait time to speak to a live human (not even a pharmacist - just a cashier) is one hour. And If you do enable notifications then you will be notified when your prescriptions are ready BUT you'll also get notifications for when sunscreen is on sale, or what Memorial Day groceries deals are happening, and MORE notifications for every other item that is on sale.

It has been operating during COVID and continues to operate as of today, 1/6/21. My Government backed insurance came and this year my access to certain pharmacies has changed. I walked out of my pharmacy of 20 years after they rudely ignored my questions and pretended I was the problem. I called my Insurance and was given another pharmacy that was within driving distance. This happened to be Family Medical Pharmacy. I stopped in around 1 pm on a week day and was instantly greeted by not 1, but EVERY employee in the establishment! I explained my situation to them and within minutes they were taking down my information, on the phone with my doctor, and providing me a comfortable (and cozy) place to wait. The entire experience was what I had grown up with in small-town WNY. It was friendly, caring, fun, welcoming, safe, and I left feeling like I mattered. About 2 days later I woke up to a missed call and a voice mail. It was from the owner of Family Medical Pharmacy, welcoming me as a new customer and asking if there was anything he could do personally to make my experiences even better! WOW! I can't say enough good about this entire experience. It feels like I just found a new home! Thank you!
