The explanation literally only took about seven seconds before he cut me off to say, So what can I actually help you with today? with a sarcastic smile on his face. And I said, This is what you can help me with. I'm just giving a short little backstory. Mind you, there was no one in the store. He wasn't busy at all. And he proceeded to ask me what I needed help with and be super condescending and say he doesn't need a whole backstory, basically telling me to stop talking and, like, what do I need help with. And then I told him I've given a lot of money to them, and I feel like I deserve to be respected, and then he just wouldn't. And so I walked out, told him I'm no longer getting service from him, and he held up the weight and sarcastically said, Don't you want your weight for your little explanation? His name was James and I will no longer be going to Mountain View Tires which is disappointing because i've been going there for awhile. Will be going to american tires from now on. No customer deserves to be treated like that. I work in customer service and would never even think of talking to someone like that. It was a super stressful drive and I thought I was going to have to write the car off as a total loss after Googling the cost of replacement (the individual parts can't be fixed). Well, it's hard enough to find a shop that knows hybrids AND will replace a transmission (the dude at the dealership couldn't even give me a quote), but they were also willing to do a used one, and at a reasonable price!
