(From my 8yr old reviewer) Weirs is a really awesome ice cream place.my dad has been going here since he was a little kid.my dog got his first pup cup and he devoured it all in 5 seconds.my brother got a big banana split it was so big he did not finish it. I got an ice cream sundae with gummy bear and gummy worms. I didn't eat all mine and it wasn't very big same as my mom and she got the same thing as my me.

Coconut Milk with Chocolate Chip ice cream

Today i stopped off here after a hike, I got a coconut Milk Ice Cream with chocolate chips and a Chocolate Egg Cream. Menu: They have a TON of different flavors, from what I heard they make their own. Alot of them sound really good, they offer shakes, sundays, ice cream, ice cream sodas, egg creams. Coconut Milk with Chocolate Chips Ice cream: The coconut milk ice cream had really good coconut flavor and good texture, the combo with the chocolate chips reminded me of an almond joy. Really good dish! Chocolate egg cream: It had a little too much chocolate, it wasn't the best i ever had, but wasn't the worst. Service: The staff is super friendly and nice and helpful and the prices are good. Overall: Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area. Great choices with good prices and good flavors make it a good spot.

I have been stuck on the Praline & Cream hard ice cream & make sure to add the nut crunch topping...YUMMY!! My partner tried something different this time... the banana split. You can get the banana split with 2 or 3 scoops of ice cream & of course, the toppings. The line can be long in the evening but the staff keeps the line moving quickly as possible & give great friendly service.

Stopped by Weirs for a sweet treat on this nice summer day! The place had lots of open parking space, as well as seats and tables. The establishment is decorated very colorfully with their different ice cream flavors/creations and cute puns all over the ice cream stand. The place itself looked cleaned and well maintained. Ambience rate 10/10. The staff is friendly and helpful. The worker that helped me gave me generous portions of ice cream and toppings which I really appreciated. The wait time wasn't long considering I went at 5:30pm before peak hours. A long line started to form maybe 5 minutes into me ordering, so I'd definitely recommend going before 6pm if you want to avoid the line. However, they started to open up more ordering windows as they saw more people coming, so that could help speed up the wait. Service rate 9/10. My boyfriend and I both ordered the make your own sundaes. 1. A medium sundae w/ a scoop of wizard tracks and a scoop of chocolate chip cookie dough. 2. A large sundae w/ a scoop of wizard tracks and Vanilla Cake Batter. The portion sizes were a good amount that left me satisfied. The wizard tracks ice cream was incredibly delicious. I enjoyed the mini pb cups imbedded inside the ice cream. Wizard Tracks Rate 10/10. The chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream was okay, I couldn't taste much of the cookie dough. Cookie dough Ice cream rate 7/10. However, their cookie dough topping was very yummy and so soft. Topping Rate 10/10. The vanilla cake batter was good, but it tasted like your average cake batter ice cream. Rate 7/10. Most importantly, the ice cream didn't melt fast at all which I liked because some ice cream places I've been to, the ice cream melts really fast and it turns into a milkshake. But not at Weirs! The prices for these sundaes were a little on the pricier end, however the yummy taste and great amount they give justifies it. Medium Sundae: $8.00 and Large Sundae: $9.00 (for hard ice cream). One recommendation is I wish they didn't make the menu hard to see by putting it on a large digital screen. With the glare of the sunlight, it makes it difficult to see from a distance, so you really have to get close to the monitor. Plastering it on a printed paper copy would be much better. Nevertheless, I would definitely go back to this cute mom and pops ice cream stand to indulge in some scrumptious ice cream.

Best ice cream shop in the area. The Earl Grey BlackBerry had a strong tea flavor and Spice Hot Chocolate really had a chili pepper kick. Lavender lemon was very refreshing

Medium soft vanilla cone. Minus all the chocolate sprinkles I licked off

Lick, slurp, swallow (repeat). We stumbled across this place and I'm glad we did. I was in desperate need of a soft vanilla cone with chocolate sprinkles. I know, I know, boring but going back to tradition before ALL these weird crazy other flavors came into play. Yes, I enjoy them immensely, but sometimes you just need good old reliable. So....we pull up and there is this plastic chainlink trail line (kinda like a waiting for a ride at Great Adventure- hmmm just really aged myself) Oops! Anyway, I figure hey this place must get busy so the ice cream must be good. So under I go because I'm not going round and round and round. Get a medium cone (which is HUGE) lick, slurp swallow. Oh my enjoy, ya can't go wrong here. They even have a place with benches that you can sit and relax.

This place is open from April to October and the cold winter wait is absolutely worth it. They have a wide variety of treats (sheet cakes, hard ice cream, soft serve, and all manner of floats, shakes, and even egg creams) and a ton of their flavors are custom made in house. Their Raspberry Linzer Tart (pictured) is absolutely delightful and their brownie batter ice cream is top notch. Service is always incredibly friendly (family owned since the 50s) and even on a cold April evening the line easily had over 60 people in it.

Weir's is a family favorite. Best place to get ice cream. Prices are good and service is quick and friendly! There are benches outside to sit and enjoy your treats. Love bringing my kids here when we have an ice cream craving !

The line waiting outside the windows doesn't lie. The soft serve is smooth, creamy and natural tasting.

Bellvale Farms Creamery is one of those places that instantly reminds you why simple summer…read moretraditions never get old. We came here for a refreshing treat on a cool Sunday evening, and it absolutely did not disappoint. Luckily, the weather kept the crowds manageable -- busy, but nowhere near the chaos of a hot summer afternoon. Nestled in the mountains of Warwick, NY, this creamery has such a charming, peaceful vibe. I first discovered it a few years ago after taking my nephew apple picking nearby, so I was excited to finally make my way back. The scenic drive alone is worth it. On this visit, they were serving customers inside only, but during peak summer days they also open the walk-up windows, which seems like a smart system for handling bigger crowds. Inside, the L-shaped counter setup helps keep the line moving efficiently even when there are multiple groups waiting. One thing I truly appreciated as someone with a gluten allergy was how clearly they labeled the gluten-free flavors on the menu. It made ordering stress-free and saved me from having to ask a million questions. Honestly, I wish every ice cream shop did this. Another huge bonus: they allow two flavors in a small size! I ordered the Great White Way and Calf Trax with rainbow sprinkles, and both flavors were absolutely delicious. After grabbing your ice cream, there are picnic tables outside overlooking breathtaking mountain views. It's the kind of place where you could easily sit for hours, relax, and just take in the scenery while enjoying your cone. The staff was friendly, parking was plentiful (always appreciated), and the overall experience was exactly what I hoped for. Bellvale Farms Creamery continues to live up to the hype, and I already can't wait to go back.

I ended up at Bellvale Farms Creamery after accidentally crashing my friend's bachelorette weekend,…read morewhich honestly feels very on brand for me. I had never been here before, so I went in completely blind, but the second I got out of the car, I understood why people come here. First of all: parking on BOTH sides of the street. Say less. Nothing ruins a cute little ice cream trip faster than circling for parking while your will to live slowly leaves your body. Then there's the smell. The scent wafting through the air should honestly be studied because it had me floating toward the building like a cartoon character following a pie cooling on a windowsill. I'm not saying the aroma dragged me in against my will...but I'm also not *not* saying that. Inside, the shop is set up in an "L" shape, and they have the flavors posted both outside AND inside, which I deeply appreciated because nobody needs the chaos of 14 people trying to read one tiny menu while pretending they're ready to order. They let you sample flavors before committing, which is dangerous for someone like me because suddenly I become an ice cream sommelier. I ended up getting Bellvale Bog and Calf Trax and let me tell you: absolutely worth it. 10/10. No notes. And somehow it gets even better once you walk back outside because there are picnic tables with a view that is genuinely stunning. Like, annoyingly picturesque. The kind of view that makes you stop mid-bite and rethink your life choices. For a completely spontaneous stop, this ended up being one of the highlights of the day. I will absolutely be back, and this time intentionally.

(I screamed for ice cream, if you will ;) I ordered the mango sorbet on a sugar cone, however the girl scooping my ice cream recommended that I switch to a waffle cone as it would hold the sorbet better. She was definitely right about that! The sorbet was refreshing and exactly what I needed to hear the Sunday afternoon heat. They have literally one table with 2 chairs inside, and thankfully it was empty when we arrived as I had no plans of eating my ice cream outside. If you arrive during a busy time, you can enjoy your ice cream on the bench outside the front door or up in their patio area located to the left of the building. However the "patio" area is NOT shaded, so be prepared for your ice cream to melt quickly if you're outside on a hot day. Thanks for helping me beat the heat, y'all!
