This is my go to grocery store. It's close, convenient and well stocked. I can appreciate grocery stores that have self check out... it makes check out much smoother. So far, the staff have all been friendly. Out of all the grocery stores in the area, they have the best steamed shrimp. I also love their subs. The ladies that used to work at Bi-Rite now work at Weis and they brought their same talent with them! They make the absolute best subs! read more

Good store. A little higher priced, but not terrible. Better quality veggies and fruits so its worth it. The cashiers for the self check out area are usually busy talking to other co workers. Have to get their attention. But its clean snd food is fresh. read more

I am not too sure what is happening with store, but, the produce quality is diminishing. Who is the Produce Manager because they aren't doing a quality control of what is sitting out. I tried to buy Strawberries but a lot of the packages had mushy or moldy berries. read more

Last night my daughter went to Weis On Belair Rd in Nottingham. While on her way in she encountered a homeless family with children in which they asked her for money. She told them she couldn't do money but offered Food & Water from inside the store... While doing so the "Parking lot Security" ran over to her screaming that she can't speak to them or give them anything (Not illegal) He's told them to leave... She said she didn't offer money but she didn't know she couldn't speak to them but continued walking into the store. Shopped for 15 minutes and on her way out.. Guess who was waiting for her (Yes instead of actually doing his job and removing the "problem" he waited for her)... wonderful Patrol Smith. He stated that he still needed to speak to her, she said No you don't have a good night and continued to walk to her car. Guess he didn't like that so he decided to scream at her across the parking lot and then jumped in his car and pulled up behind her car while loading groceries and screaming at her.. "Take them to your house and see how you like it" over and over. She felt unsafe so walked back into the store to speak to Customer Service, (he followed her back into the store which he doesn't work for) He continued...telling her to stop acting like a victim, you can report me if you want. (Yes she was in tears, not playing victim you actually harassed her instead of doing YOUR job and removing the pan handlers you chased my child down) The "Manager" of Weis was no help at all, refused to give any information... instead of treating customers nicely he just brushed it off and acted like nothing was wrong. When I arrived and asked the manager his name he laughed it off and said No he doesn't need to give that information. Ended up having to call the supervisor of the officers who did arrive to actually have the footage looked at and be given all the information I need. Yes I'm about to be a KAREN... How is this not harassment when she asked him to leave her alone multiple times?! read more

This place is amazing. I have never been to this location since there is already one closer to our home. The inside is huge compared to our location. We stopped in for a Mother's day treat... ice cream and cake. We were able to browse around and find everything we needed. We even talked with other patrons sharing ideas on ice cream brands who was better. There was sale on a few choices, and since the Weis brand was on sale and came with recommendations from a few patrons we choose that one. Then the big kicker the cake was even on sale much more then we thought. Score on the sales! read more

Just ran in here, and it served as nothing more than a reminder that I should make this a regular on my list of preferred grocery stores. The store is clean, provides a wide variety, and the employees are friendly! I love the hot food bar, and the selection of Pennsylvania Dutch items in addition to the standard grocery store products. I do wish that the prices were a little more affordable, but I understand that you're paying for the experience. I guess the prices pretty much fall in line with similar competitors such as, Giant, and Safeway. In any case, I strongly believe that this particular Weis store is a great addition to the southern end of Belair Road. read more

I absolutely loved it here!!! So nice and clean!! The staff were all so incredibly friendly and helpful. The shelves were fully stocked and neatly organized. I loved the large aisles which were clear and easy to get multiple carts through. Great spacious parking and the gas station was a plus!! Im so happy to be near this Weis! The best supermarket in the area. The parking lot is easy to navigate. They have the best electric carts. Everyone in the store if friendly and very helpful. The deli food is fresh and delicious. All the departments have great food. The bathrooms are large and clean. They have a great variety of products. read more

This market has good produce . Their lunch meats are good . Meat is generally good . I wish they had more Roma sausage , and cut up ribs for sauce . And thin sliced rump roast like mars used to have . They have replaced most of the mars locations. Be more like mars and you will be amazing . read more

This location needs to put some money into the interior. The floors are in horrible condition and the self checkouts are HORRIBLE! Me and my wife use reusable bags when we go shopping and they were a nightmare to use in the self checkout. Every other item caused the light to start flashing and we had to wait for someone to come over to reset it. Of course, if they had adequate cashiers working this would not be an issue. It seems they are trying to move with the cost cutting by forcing most customers into the self checkout - Not always a good thing! read more

Great produce, bakery, and seafood sections. Didn't give a full 5 stars due to the attitude of the employees. I greeted 3 employees in a friendly tone. All were standoffish as if I were bothering them for asking questions. Especially the gentleman in the dairy aisle. I asked him where the sour cream is located. He said, "In the back." I do not recommend this store to anyone if you want good fast and professional service. Lines with many people at a popular time but only one register open. Went to service center there to ask for more cashiers and the woman informed me that we had to wait for more people to come in. However there were five cashiers standing near the front laughing and talking as a group about their personal lives. Also other staff members walking up and down the isles. I had my disabled son with me and he was having a hard time standing after waiting so long. So after an hour of filling my cart almost to the top I unfortunately had to leave it and leave the store. Will never ever ever visit ths store again. After posting my experience on Facebook another woman posted that she had the same experience and when she went to the front service was told if she did not like it to go find another store to shop. Apparently that store must be thriving in business to be able to send customers away to their competitors. read more

For a super market to move into a major space like Weis did, you would think that they would have put some effort into the vibe of this store. But it looks cold, uninviting and cheap. The store colors are cold. The department signs for the Meats and Deli are made out of TAPE. Really? That's the best you could do? And the ceiling of the building is very low and dated (disclosure, this was a forner KMart store that Weis took over) and doesn't match the promise of the outside. Swing and a miss, Weis. read more

I do a Weis to go order almost every week, about 3 weeks ago a lot of my items that I ordered were not in my bags when I picked up my to go order but no one called to tell me they didn't have everything I.ordered they gave me a small gift card that was only a couple dollar thinking that makes up for this, than last week the store chs he's my bank card twice for 1 Weis to go order and they don't want to give my money back even though I sent the manager a screenshot of both transactions . I won't be shopping at Weis anymore when they are stealing my hard earned money?? I am so upset!!!! read more

I love this store but i'not sure what is going on. i went there Sunday early morning to shop, Quart size milk and eggs were totally gone but i could see boxes in the walk-in refrigeration unit with eggs and milk. Alot of their shelves were empty. Decided to go back early this morning and a lot of the shelves were still bare including the eggs and milk area. i could see the milk containers in the walk-in. They had several employees on the floor stocking however there definitely was not enough of them. i'm sure they have some employees that would love to get overtime especially during the holiday season. i saw a complaint for the Weis store on Joppa Road well, have they gone under new management or been brought out recently? Something has definitely changed. read more

We bought meat on 5/26 the supposedly was to expire on 5/31. We come out to grill it today on 5/28. We bought grass fed lamb with no hormones or antibiotics. We open up the package and the meat is already going bad. I had high hopes for the store because it is close to my home but for meat to go bad that quick isn't worth my time. Won't ever shop at this franchise again. I'll go the extra mile or spend the extra money at Wegmans or Moms Market instead. Definitely not worth your time or money. read more
