Ordered the vegetarian green curry bowl and I was so surprised by how delicious it was. The tofu and roasted yams were sooo good and the portion was enough for 2 meals. I highly reccomend!

Healthy choice of my breakfast in Vancouver BC. Avocado Wrap and Green Colada!

I prefer something healthy for breakfast. It was a 15 minute walk from the hotel I was staying at, but I thought it was perfect for my lack of exercise. The cheerful staff greets me inside the store and is very friendly. The staff kindly gave advice on the menu. I chose an Avocado Wrap and a Green Colada. Green Colada was a very refreshing smoothie, Cleanser & Immune Booster drink and the Avocado Wrap was mashed chickpea and avocado, baby spinach, chili flakes, spinach tortilla wrap, lightly seasoned and easy to eat. My breakfast was just green,, loll Looks like my day will be happy! Thanks! I will come again

Health-oriented quick service spot with options for smoothies and juice, wraps, bowls, and soup. There are options to please both meat-eaters and plant-based eaters. Not a lot of seating, mostly takeout. The staff is very friendly and service is usually pretty fast. The first time I tried this place I got the Falamus Wrap, which admittedly didn't leave a great impression. It was very heavy and the mashed avocado and hummus was like mush. Some time after this first experience I was wanting something healthy and decided to give them another try, and I've had much better results since, having come back a few times to try a smoothie (blueberry avocado shake) and a few bowls (green curry and chilango). I will say the chilango was too salty but otherwise okay, but the green curry bowl and blueberry avocado shake were both delicious and I have no complaints. I'm seeing some reviews saying that the portions are small but they're pretty satiating for me, and you get a healthy serving of veggies and protein in a bowl. Prices are reasonable too.

    Bangkok Bowl with Steak

I almost walked out. I'll tell you why. After an intense morning workout, I needed a great lunch and was not planning on trying a new place, as I did not want to risk a crappy fast break. You don't wanna see me hungry, trust me. On my way to my usual favourite poke place, I just kinda popped into this place. I was the only customer and the place was very quiet. So, I thought maybe another time, but the attendant welcomed me with a warm smile and her energy and demeanor had me looking at their menu. I decided on the Bangkok Bowl with added steak. Here's what made it great and what will have me coming back. They grill the steak right in front of you....so you know it's fresh and it tasted like it. Also, the added charge for the steak is justified as they are generous and give you what you pay for. The veggies were all fresh and even the brown rice was alive. "Alive" meaning it's not rice that's been sitting there on the counter and then refrigerated for a week. Another thing I noticed was the amount of dressing tossed in was just perfect. Not overloading and not lacking....just the right amount. Have you ever had salad swimming in sauce? You don't have to worry about that here. With all the competition around them their price point is decent and reasonable. Will be back.

A new healthy restaurant in downtown Vancouver! This is their second location (first in North Vancouver) and today was their grand opening. I got to try some smoothie samplers and spun the wheel for a prize. Got a free premium topping so decided to pop inside to grab a bowl for lunch. There are a ton of options and you can make your own bowl or wrap. I decided to go for the Bangkok Bowl with steak as my topping. It came out to be $14.65. The bowl was delicious and the dressing is super tasty. Good amount of food. Steak was a little dry though.

Good healthy food that's priced right. However, not much in the amount of food. Friendly service, clean shop, clean restroom. Limited seating. Would eat here again if I'm not too hungry and want something healthy.

Finally remembered to drop in at lunch to try this place out, was not disappointed! Always a huge soft spot for anyplace that has loads of Vegetarian options. Very friendly staff, helpful with my ordering experience when I told them it was my first time there. I opted for the straight up Bangkok Bowl with no extras just to taste the meals true foundation. This was a great choice, the mix of fresh veggies (Romaine, Cucumber, Peppers, Cabbage, shred Carrot) and Brown Rice was very appetizing. Could not get enough of the delicious Peanut dressing, what a perfect complement, could likely drink half a litre if challenged to do so. There were Chickpeas for protein but next time I will likely add Tofu because (my only minor complaint) was that the serving size wasn't large enough for my constant hunger! Sat at the high top table facing outside to eat my food. There was a little plant that was dead AF next to me, made me wonder why it wasn't thrown out or better taken care of. I'm excited to go back and try another bowl, I'm thinking I'll go for the Green Curry.

Tofu, green onion, avocado, mix veggies , curry sauce wow!

My goodness! This bowl is absolutely delicious! The curry sauce is perfectly balanced--rich, flavorful, and just the right amount of spice. Every bite was a delight. Highly recommend!

I'm a sucker for a good multi-roaster cafe, and Revolver is a fantastic one. They serve up beans from all over, and they do it right, thanks to staff with eyes (and noses) for detail. Barista Soho and I chatted about NYC[1], and he told me La Cabra has a bakery there[2]. Savored a lovely pourover from Toronto[3], served hot. That very same day, I returned and had a decaf espresso that slapped[4]. Ample seating. A fair bit of natural light somehow makes it into the shop. Good for a date, coworking (especially in their next door "Archive" space), catching up with friends AND discovering coffee from around the world. Find this shop in Gastown, a short walk from the SeaBus station. [1] Yes, his name was Soho. Not SoHo. [2] Saved for my next trip to the East Village. [3] Saw Dak on the menu, but I'll be in Amsterdam sooner rather than later... [4] No idea what it was. Besides, the menu'll change before I find out[5]. [5] I love footnotes!

Revolver is what I'd consider a multi-roaster shop with a focus on the coffee first. The bar is made up of high quality small batch grinders, perfect for grinding fresh for each cup, and a long line of pour over setups to give each cup the attention it deserves. Behind the bar you can see an Aiden by Fellows for quick batch brewing quality beans to the standards of the specialty coffee association or quick recipe testing. The menu is predominantly descriptions of the coffees they're currently brewing with a few classic and simple coffee preparations like a latte and a cortado, but nothing too involved because they focus on the coffee itself. I really liked how they separated the coffees by flavor profile so you could key in on the type of beans and roast you prefer. They offered several natural, honey, and anerobic options, which made me happy. My friend isn't a coffee geek like I am, so it was fun to see which he gravitated to and enjoy that alongside my choice, which was totally opposite. The barista side of the shop is long and narrow, with the bar predominating, but there's a great sitting area right next door that I didn't even notice until we were leaving. I'd hoped to buy a bag of beans to take with me but none of the ones we tried were available. Good sign I suppose, but sad for me. Next time!

We ordered the following: Tiramisu Latte Caprese Bite London Fog Apple Cookie Cherry Matcha Tonic Tiramisu Sea Salt Caramel Gelato The Cherry Matcha Tonic was pretty but wasn't too crazy about the flavor. I should have just gone with my original gut instinct and chosen a hot beverage like Hojicha Latte or something like that. I was sort of thirsting for something cooler for a change though, and the Cherry Matcha Tonic was the first "cool" drink that caught my eye so I decided to go for it. Won't do that again. Everything else was good though. The Sea Salt Caramel Gelato was the star of the show! In the store there's a sign beneath their gelato section that says "Canadian Gelato Champion". I believe it after tasting the Sea Salt Caramel! They had Nama Chocolates too. I was tempted to get some but...only so much a person's wallet and waistline can handle at one time. Will try the Nama Chocolate some other time. You can order in person here, or you can place an "Express" order at the Kiosk. We tried both ways of ordering. Ordered at the counter first and then after finished my Cherry Matcha Tonic decided I wanted to try the Sea Salt Gelato so then tried ordering that from the Kiosk. Most of the parking in this area is paid but I lucked out and got a free spot right around the corner from this place!

I could tell even from outside that it's a popular work and study type of coffee shop with your free wifi and outlets. I hope this post doesn't give it away and make it way too crowded for me to find a seat next time. There's a steady flow of people visiting the stores while I was there on a weekday between late afternoon and early evening but there's always extra seat for anyone new looking for a desk to work or chat with friends. A few could be better are the pricing and temperature. They offer free oat milk substitute and -$0.35 for bringing your own cup but no more employee discount. And it was so cold in there, I could see a lot of people kept their winter jackets on, I don't think it's a heating issue but the constant windy seems to suggest the AC is on rather than the heater, oh wells Im out of there now. For that reason, unless I'm bundled up, it'll be a hard sale to be back again! I got a hojicha latte and it as pretty good, perfect sweetness and temperature for my cold with no ice. The barista was super great to work with.
