The distribution follows a first-come, first-served system, with individuals arriving early in the morning to obtain their food boxes. In addition, Monterey Park also arranges a monthly food distribution at Barnes Park. To participate, one must submit an application, provide identification, and furnish proof of residency in Monterey Park. My friend takes advantage of the transportation services by contacting the Langley Senior Center.

Back to the Center. For some reason I can't explain, I used to refer to this center as the senior center. I often see people playing table tennis, and hold yoga/dance & exercise classes here. We had about 150 people at our baby shower and it was very comfortable. The staff set the table and chairs for us, while providing extra tables for desserts, food, gifts etc. Having strong AC was extremely important for us and they fulfilled that need! There was a restroom with 5 stalls per gender that was super convenient inside the room. The center also provided several large trash cans and emptied out the trash throughout the event. There are doors that open to the outside park area, where we stationed our catering vendor. This place is great and they get quite busy so I'd highly recommend booking early if you're interested!
