Up selling is another thing. Not everyone has a budget for the premiums. Not everyone fits their 3 options. If I cover one eye and test them this is what I see. I see extremely well out of my left eye. Switching eyes: My right eye is fuzzy and a tea color vision. I use readers to see up close for 25 years. I see great at a distance. I feel I only needed cataract surgery only on the right eye. But seeing that was not even an option nor did they strongly encourage a great out come even if I did both eyes with a premium lens in the right eye and the regular Medicare lens in the left. With our insurance we pay no deductible or copays. They said YES. When checking in, they took copies of my insurance cards. I asked again if the appointment was covered by insurance. They said YES. Upon checking out, they charged $150 consultation fee. I told them to put it through my insurance and it would be covered. They said they don't do that. I paid with a credit card and was charged an additional 3%. So I'm assuming they just want cash. I've been to other doctors for the same reason. They billed my insurance and was paid in full. If this is their practice, they should tell people when they call for an appointment and let the person decide then if they want an appointment or not.

I tried to explain and show them she has 2 healing broken knee caps, recently operated on. She has braces on both legs from her hip to her ankles. It was more difficult to get her in the car than expected, cause she's been having trouble walking the last couple days and is in a lot of pain. Most doctors offices have at least a 5 minute leeway. I'll bet even if we were there on time we'd have had to wait 20 minutes or so to be seen. This is the worst place and most inconsiderate office I have ever been to. I give them a zero on a 1-10
