I needed my eyes dilated and checked for family history of glaucoma. Dr. Pearce was very caring and thorough with his eye exam. I spent thirty minutes being examined by the doctor. I tried to explain and show them she has 2 healing broken knee caps, recently operated on. She has braces on both legs from her hip to her ankles. It was more difficult to get her in the car than expected, cause she's been having trouble walking the last couple days and is in a lot of pain. Most doctors offices have at least a 5 minute leeway. I'll bet even if we were there on time we'd have had to wait 20 minutes or so to be seen. This is the worst place and most inconsiderate office I have ever been to. I give them a zero on a 1-10

Same for my optometry appointment. Sure, the EXAM was no co-pay, but they charge $60 for the doctor to READ THE RESULTS AND PROVIDE A PRESCRIPTION. And of course, "no insurance pays for that". The woman at the checkout desk had a smartass attitude and a look on her face that screamed she hears objections to this ridiculous policy all day long. From my first contact on the phone to the greeting I received when we walked in I was made to feel like a valued patient. The exam I received from Dr Parrish was by far the most thorough eye exam I've ever had. Using modern diagnostic equipment and technology Dr Parrish recommended a change to my contact prescription and took lots of time explaining his thought process. I've been wearing contacts for 30 years and I've not had the explanations I got today. Belinda discussed pricing with me then fitted me with the new lens. All in a. A five star experience.
