There is a disc golf course that runs basically on the same path as the golf course on the Welk resorts golf course. My parents are staying at the Welk resort and my two sons and I got to play disc golf with my dad. It is always a pleasure to play with my dad who is 80 years old . My dad and I Aren't great but good enough to enjoy playing. The course is nice. The different holes have varied lengths some are up hill Or down hill or across a gullie or some are dog legged. With a good amount of trees that can occasion be an obstacle. It was not that crowded. A family of kids ahead of us were playing soccer golf which also runs along with the golf course. The attendant had fantastic customer service. Can't say much about the golf course except that it was landscaped and maintained well. It was a great day.

The property is nice, especially if you get a villa on the golf course. Full size kitchens, living room, restrooms with jet tubs, his&hers sinks and great size rooms with views to the golf course. Nothing but peace and quiet. Now, the TV's didn't work, couches had tons of stains, shower was backed up, lines are very long when checking in and no one answers the front desk phones. I reported the backed up shower the morning after my first night and front desk stated they would send someone out but they never came. Called to check out of my room and the phone rang for over 5 mins, someone picked up the call and slammed the headset to end the call; called again and this time it rang for almost ten minutes and finally a max answered. Told Max I wanted to check out and explained to him of all the issues we had in our room, he pretty much didn't care. Max's responses were short and dismissive. Definitely will not come back again. Like I said at the beginning, property is nice and their newer villas and remodeled ones are better but I have stayed in other resorts that are better. The only great customer service I experienced at this location was at the time share session, everyone was very friendly. The Welk resort has a pizza hut, grill restaurant, dentist office, a spa, small market and a convenience store. A theatre for live performances, a very equipped gym, tons of pools and a rec center for kids.

It was great to use my ownership to have a pool day! The adult pool was quiet and nice, I definitely like the Mountain pool better because they have the activities and snackbar, it was being worked on while we were there so we couldnt go in, but still a great restful day at the Melody Pool. Staff was nice and they offered can margaritas if you want a cocktail. Plenty of umbrellas and loungers too.

First time trying out an executive course and this one pretty good. Nice course and everything looked well maintained. The food shack was also pretty chill , the had great hotdogs and drinks . Will definitely will be coming back here again.

Nathan, Kyle, Steve, Wilson and others have been AWESOME to me, my dogs and beer tenders. While sipping a beer I saw the funniest woodpeckers.

Pro tip- this is a random alone jacuzzi next to the golf course. Hidden gem go find it

First time on this property and definitely can't express how impressed I am with the location & layout. Me and my girlfriend came here for her bday and couldn't have asked for a more relaxing and beautiful place to enjoy ourselves. The room is incredibly spacious and our view from our balcony during sunset overlooking the mountain side was amazing. We were very lucky to be greeted and checked in by Luciano at the front desk! Can't say enough of his good energy and amazing recommendations. He really went above and beyond to make us feel so welcome and excited about our stay. Was a great start that kicked off a very memorable trip. Highly recommend.

This was my first time visiting The Welk Resort. It was a very nice experience over all. The room that we stayed it was a split wing with a full kitchen and dining area in the middle. There was also plenty of seating area plus outdoor seating. It is a little tricky to navigate around. I can easily see how some people may get turned around or lost trying to find their room. The pool areas were nice and not super crowded. The down sides were the restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. The Starbucks that is on the premises does not accept Starbucks cards and lastly this resort is about 40+ miles from San Diego or Oceanside. So you definitely have to plan ahead when making your trips.

Executive course in great shape. Fun to play. Beautiful views. Easy layout. One of my favs for a fun, easy trek.

You knew this was coming...don't act surprised! Lol

There are two parking lots that we saw, one closer to the bottom which was gravel but would require a walk up two flights of stairs, or there's a lot closer to the tasting room (paved) but is more limited. We were able to snag a spot up at the top luckily. They have a two sample limit & then you can buy drinks by the bottle or glass. The day we went they were having a 25% off bottle sale. There was only one employee we saw during the entirety of our visit but he was super friendly. We ordered a bottle, the charcuterie platter and a pizza. The charcuterie board is refrigerated and they provide a bag of crackers as well. We went with the veggie pizza & it took maybe 20 minutes to come out and was absolutely delicious. The grounds themselves are absolutely gorgeous. There are 3 covered areas to sit at up top with plenty of seating. Down the first flight of stairs has a fish pond and some beautiful areas to walk around. I'm not sure if that area was where they do weddings as there was also a spot across the way with a dais, but we didn't make it over there. The wine was delicious! We tried two of the whites and the sweet rosé. I'm not normally a rosé fan, but it was my favorite wine I had there. Overall we had a really relaxing time with beautiful views. I highly recommend checking out Sunshine Mountain Vineyard.

First, we were disturbed by the amount of AI generated flyers that were used to advertise events. At the end of our timeshare presentation, an AI flyer with fake images was even used to advertise other Hyatt properties. If you want to show how beautiful your other properties are, maybe consider using REAL images!! DO BETTER HYATT!!!! The property was honestly pretty outdated and the walls were paper thin. My partner and I were really bummed when a family with loud children was staying next door to us because we heard them as if we were all in the same room ... at all hours. On top of that, it also sucked that the few hotel-provided activities that were marketed as 18+ ended up having kids in them. We were drawn by the fact that there would be no kids but then of course that was too good to be true. The pools were small and so crowded that it was unenjoyable. Additionally, this property is at least 20 min from any restaurant so the fact that there were very few dining options on property and a tiny market that charged $9 for peanut butter made meal times difficult. The silver lining was the amazing restaurant staff at the Canyon Grille. Shout out to Amy Jo for being an amazing bar tender and making our experience so fun.

What I loved I chose this hotel for its unique style it is a hidden jewel 20 minutes outside of town in the foothills. Beautiful view beautiful landscape beautiful Mediterranean style hotel. Wilderness dont be surprised if you see a few creatures after all you are in the mountains. The rooms are beautifully decorated spacious clean vaulted ceilings. Fridge TV microwave patios and balconies. Did I mention the landscape again I must reiterate the grounds are absolutely beautiful for walking for hiking for little adventures for a romantic get away says it's quiet you hear the birds chipping and the running water around you. My favorite part I must say is that the pool and the cascading Jacuzzi's are open 24/7 which is a wonderful feature. Sometimes I have a late check in and I I'm looking forward to getting in that pool no matter what time it is to wind down so that is very very important to me. It's right next to golf course in there is a restaurant and bar in the golf course or clubhouse so that is convenient. Last but not least the owners were very sweet they were there as I was checking out making sure that we had a great stay staff was polite available and met all our needs Can't wait to come back for Thanksgiving and possibly for my anniversary in February with my husband it will be 25 years. Thank you for an enjoyable state and can't wait to come back again soon. Sincerely Darlene esquivias

Upon checking in, I think the manager was there helping us, and she was super welcoming. We had a king sized bed suite that had a lot of open space and a pretty large bathtub, which was nice to sink into after sitting in the hot tubs. In my opinion, the room could have had a little more decor or upgrade in furniture. The room was a little bare and felt far from being "romantic" as Groupon had described it. What stood out to me the most was that the chair at the desk had a few stains on the seat cushion. Other than that, the room was well kept. Because the hotel was a little further from the city, it had a great view of the sky at night! Not used to seeing the sky so clear without all the light and smog pollution.

We easily found parking in their complimentary lot. Ambiance (4.5/5): This is one of the things that make wineries great... the scenic views. While they have a tasting room inside, your best option is to sit outside on the small yet charming patio. The best part is that you'll enjoy the mountains in the background as you sip on your vino. Service (4.5/5): We ordered a bottle of wine about 10 minutes before close. One of the owners was nice enough to allow us to stay outside on the patio way past closing time. He said we could stay as long as we wanted. That's the type of service you rarely see at drinking holes these days. Food (N/A): They had various snacks to purchase and you can also add chocolates with wine flights but we were on a liquid diet. Drinks (4/5): If you're interested in doing a wine tasting, they have both a red and white option. The prices are affordable (especially by California standards) for both flights and if you'd like to purchase bottles of wine for enjoying there or to take home. I did the red flight. They serve it to you on a cutting board of sorts with a piece of paper giving you a short description of each wine. From there, we had a bottle of sauvignon blanc. I didn't take any wine home, but you can get a discount if you buy in bulk. One last thing that made Belle Marie an awesome winery is that it was one of the few open on a Tuesday in the area. A lot of them are open on the weekends only or Wednesday-Sunday or Thursday-Sunday. Belle Marie delivered on the only day we could stop by. For that, I'm grateful!

Had we been bigger golf enthusiasts, this venue may very well have won us over. The package felt highly inclusive, and there were numerous thoughtful details that set it apart from other venues we toured. However, with our larger guest count, the indoor reception space felt a bit tight and ultimately gave us some hesitation.
