The men behind us hit into us, shouted at us, taunted us & then lost it screaming at the course employee who asked them to behave better. They bragged that they didn't get kicked off the course. They were mad at the pace of play but it was backed up for several holes so we were waiting on the people in front of us. They hit into us dangerously & laughed & then yelled calling us babies for asking them to stop hitting into us. Mostly we've had good experiences the last few years but more & more there has been people hitting into groups in front (& not yelling 4) & aggressive abusive behavior to us & others. When it's reported nothing has been done but today was really awful & Eric says management has no obligation to enforce better (or even safe) behavior. It seems like the bad behavior is mostly directed at women & groups that include women. The course is maintained at a mediocre level and they are often running the lawnmowers during play (which can slow down play) but it's a nice course ruined by increasing bullies who know they can be rude, dangerous & inappropriate & not have consequences.

I spent the past couple weeks talking about how incredible the greens are as the last time I played (about a year ago) they were so impressive. Most of every green was seed or sand with the only small patches of grass causing the ball to go random directions. If the course is recovering from some kind of event, I can understand that. But there was no indication of this and no discounted greens fees. Not sure what happened here but I won't be returning any time soon as even at the twilight rate, $90 is not worth putting on this mess. Hope that they can bring the greens back to what they once were but this definitely left a very sour taste in my mouth overall. Only thing that gives them a couple stars is that the service was very kind as always and the rest of their experience (clubhouse, driving range, etc.) is still exceptional.

I'm sure they are quick to jump on a group of guys having some fun if they are 2 minutes behind pace. But in my experience there. We have 3 twosome's (including myself) backed up on a 2:40 tee time.... All because of 1 pair of old guys who (and I mean this literally) took 2 minutes to set up and hit every shot. Even the putts. Waiting to tee off on a 500 yard par 5.... have some feel old guy. So anyway, I NEVER complain to any Marshall. It's like telling a teacher in school... however I said "hey man! I hate to even ask or bring it up. But the group in front of us is very slow and purposely not waiting or giving us an opportunity to pass them. Can you give them a little pep?" To which he responded "ya I let the group in front of them know, but you can always just ask to play through" My good sir. DO YOUR JOB. There is no chance that a twilight twosome should have a 4 hour round. And if I'm the only group held up, I'll figure it out, skip a hole, go around. But when it's 3+ groups.... it's time to pull the problem on the side for a 10 minute pit stop and let the golf traffic move on through. Overall. This incident doesn't really pertain to the course itself, so take that story with a grain of salt. However, Marshalls and overall management should still care about pace of play or not allowing a human traffic cone to control the flow of the game. Even if it's 3pm. Lazy

We were then informed that the door lock had a malfunction and required a battery replacement. Despite this, the issue was not fully resolved until 10:33 p.m., causing significant inconvenience and disrupting the first day of our vacation.

For what its worth, this course is decent if you are looking to get out and play. The greens and fairways were mainly kept in ok condition, playable but not pristine. Bunkers had tons of weeds and over growth and the sand was not so sandy, hard packed so a little difficult to pop the ball out if you find yourself in one. Some of the holes can get narrow but it presents a good challenge to see if you can thread that needle. As for the putting, it was difficult to get that ball in the hole as they run slow so you need to be precise with your speed. For the price with cart it wasn't too bad. Now there are many other courses but for ease of booking and getting out to play, Reidy Creek might be the answer.
