Nail Haven did a beautiful job on my daughter's nails for her senior prom! We normally both get SNS…read moredip with simple designs like different color french tips on each nail or line work at our regular salon, but for such a special occasion she wanted something more elaborate. After reviewing their work on Instagram, we decided to make an appointment here. Originally, my daughter wanted to stick with dip to maintain her natural nail length, but the nail tech explained that the specific design she requested could not be achieved with dip powder. She transitioned to Aprés Gel-X instead, and still made changes from the original inspiration photo to simplify needs and costs after consulting with the nail tech. The final result was absolutely gorgeous and prom-ready! The only surprise was the number of additional fees added throughout the appointment, so she called me a few times to confirm costs before proceeding. I was happy to cover it for such a memorable milestone event. In the end she got one nail with light blue french tip, two nails painted blue and two nails with painted butterfly or flower design on each hand where in her original design it was a different design on each nail. While we will likely continue using our regular salon for routine nails due to the pricing structure here, I would recommend Nail Haven for weddings, prom, and other special occasions depending on your design aspirations.

I was so thrilled to support), cozy spa-like atmosphere, clean. Talented nail techs who do great work. Genesis was my favorite. Cons: - Everything is an added fee to where I felt taken advantage of. I had to pay $15 extra because I got a fill beyond the 2-week recommendation. Come on now. Also, every design seemed to fall in the "tier 3" category. I didn't even want to get designs because they were so high. I don't mind paying for good service, but at some point, you feel overcharged and not valued as a customer. - I don't appreciate that I've had a black mark by my name for a few nail technicians. If there's a problem, speak to me directly. One nail tech I had a black mark from, I came in contact with her brother, then found out she didn't even know there was a mark by my name and didn't know why. Odd. - Seems to be a higher turnover rate, so don't get too attached to one tech. I wish I could have been a longtime customer but the added costs no longer justify coming here anymore. But if you've got the funds, go for it!

While she does use a drill (contrary to what I originally searched for), she's incredibly skilled, gentle, and precise--so much so that it never damages my nails. Her technique is both efficient and mindful, striking the perfect balance between machine and hand filing. Initially, I was getting regular gel manicures, but Bernadette truly cares about nail health, and she suggested switching to builder gel (BIAB). It was a game-changer. Builder gel doesn't require soaking off and allows for continuous fills--meaning you can build on top of your last set without compromising nail integrity. Since switching, my nails have grown so long, strong, and healthy, and a single BIAB manicure can last me up to 6 weeks! Beyond nails, Bernadette is a wonderful person--easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and deeply caring. She also specializes in pedicures for clients with diabetes or other health conditions, which speaks volumes about her expertise and sensitivity to clients' unique needs.
