Just had a late lunch here and it was GREAT! Tarra took really good care of us and was super friendly to first timers. They offer daily specials, including desserts. Must try this, place. Cute country decor puts a real homey feel to this place. They have a kids menu but I didn't get a pic of it, sorry.

Love finding the local owned businesses in my travels. Best food and service. This was my best breakfast while in town

Good food and good people in the wonderful village of Wellborn which has maintained its old timey flavor.

Service is good, waitresses friendly, food good, country cooking and decorations...only wish some portions on some dinners were larger

Great restaurant with friendly service and delicious food. Traveling north on 10 and well worth the detour for lunch.

Good, perhaps not great, but quite good. My friend and I had to investigate given the hype and what…read morewe found was a very fast food--looking place, bright but simple, even spartan, interior, nice and fast service, reasonable prices. But, beyond the expected hamburgers and a great selection of shakes, they have chicken 'n' waffles, fried shrimp, and other dishes. Everything is indeed fast food yet at the same time tastes homemade. My shrimp were good though a bit too salty for my liking, the waffle fries fine, the bread roll (really? not hushpuppies?) ok if weird to me to include in a seafood basket. Their house MotLee's Sauce is certainly the sauce to ask for, by the way. All in all, a good, economical choice for fast food plus to support something local and unique.

Husband got a smash burger with sweet potato fries and a Heath bar shake. Everything was served quickly by the nice young man behind the counter, all was hot and looked great. Everything was delicious, with the highpoints being the sweet potato waffle fries, the biscuit, and the milkshakes. I got ranch and the Motlee sauce for my chicken and both were excellent, the ranch is def homemade. We'll be back around the next time we head in or out on I-10, although it's only 30 minutes from where I live in Jax, so we might make the drive just for dinner one night.

Looking around for the Mexican restaurant that I used to go to, I found that it had been turned into Two Fat Guys over the years. Alright, I'll give that a go instead! Inside there are a couple of tall tables to eat at, and then a side area for normal table seating to eat at. The ordering system is counter service, and after I went through the menu I went with a standard cheeseburger and some fries along with a drink. The wait wasn't long, and I got my food and sat down. First, the fries... They were limp and not that great. Also, I asked for some hot sauce, only to find out they did not have any. Ketchup, mustard, salt, pepper... That's it for condiments, as I found out from the completely disinterested staff. The burger was alright... not outstanding, but also not bad. My recommendation? If you are hungry for a burger, sure, go for it... get it to go, because the ambiance and staff are certainly not going to be a positive light on your day. Skip the fries, they aren't worth it. Sadly, given this experience I fully expect to see a completely different place here within a couple of years, unless something changes drastically.
