I've been meaning to try this place for the last two and a half years I've lived in town and I finally tried it. Service is good, quick but not overly friendly. It's quite dark inside compared to outside but it's not too dark. This place definitely has the feel of dive bar without looking like a dive bar. Pricing is about standard for the area and food was good. Nothing stood out that I'd rave over, but it wasn't a bad experience. Ordered a Philly cheesesteak and it was good with crispy fries. The restaurant is locally owned and they are super nice. The food is very delicious I've tried almost everything on the menu. They are known for their Hot Wings which comes in many flavors. This restaurant was remodeled during one of those TV show makeovers. It is 100% better afterwards, but the prices are too high for me taking it out of the every week category for me. Once every month or so the wife and I will grab lunch or dinner here. The inside is unique and fun, the service is normally good, and the food is amazing. Went for an early dinner. Food was outstanding, we had blackened fish tacos and a fish sandwich. Service as top notch, I haven't experienced a server as good as Lacey our waitress in a long time. Let me start by saying we have been here a number of times and the food/service has always been decent. This last time ruined all that. Three of us order the "special", which came with a side. When it came out, all 3 of them were ice cold. Ok, kitchen screwed up, it happens. We called the waitress over and she took them back. About 5 mins later she brought all 3 back out and said, sorry, I don't know whose was whose. Really? When questioned, she was stunned that we cared. Regardless, took them back and after about 10 mins brought us back 2 new ones, never said where the 3rd was. Never saw her again, someone else brought the check over. Talked to the manager, he didn't seem to really care either. So, the wait staff nor manager really care about food safety. Who knows what else goes on back where you can't see. As we were leaving, I saw another waitress taking the same side back from another table, my assumption is it was cold as well....making me think that not only will the mix up tasted dishes at the same table, might happen across multiple tables. BEST seafood restaurant experience with top notch food, service and atmosphere! My husband and I stopped by on our way to Key West for our honeymoon. The food was phenomenal. Almost everything was homemade: chips, salsa, brownie, and even ranch...! We ordered fish sandwich with coleslaw, fish tacos (their rice was amazing), raw oysters (super fresh), and brownie. We are both originally from coastal cities and both got surprised how good everything tasted. What made our experience exceptional was our waitress Lacey. She was everything you could ask for in a waitress: knowledgeable, cheerful and helpful. She took pride in the food because she truly cared. She even packed us ice water to go for our trip. Our waitress was extremely friendly and provided excellent service from her greeting to delivering the check when we were ready to leave. On our way on south I75 and wanted a place to stop for lunch. It was worth the detour. Our server Debbie was friendly and fast. We ordered small spinach salads and sandwiches, and local draft beers. The salads came out quickly, and the sandwiches did not come out until we were done-a detail that we appreciated. Service was fast but not rushed. My Wrangler burger was juicy and delicious, and my husband's shrimp Philly wrap was also good. The generous portion of Phish Scales (chips) were nice and crispy.
