Can't recommend this spa enough! Had the best facial with Tina, she's gentle and attentive and my skin was glowing for weeks! Dr. Zheng also does my Botox and I couldn't be more thrilled with the results. 10/10! read more

Meet the Business Owner: Peter Z.

Dr. Peter Zheng has been practicing in Westchester for over 16 years. Dr. Zheng is Board Certified in Pain Management, Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and New York State Certified in Acupuncture. Dr. Zheng did his internship in Internal Medicine at University of Connecticus, residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at University of Rochester and fellowship in Anesthesiology Pain Management at Westchester Medical Center. Collegues through the pain managment rotation during residency felt Dr. Zheng would be an excellent pain management physician and praised him for his wonderful needle skills as he displayed very accurate and less painful techniques. This led Dr. Zheng to do pain management fellowship and he soon became a pain management physician with an expertise in minimally invasive procedures. This is not the first time I've been injured here--previously, I developed a fungal infection in my big toe after a pedicure, which caused my nail to separate. Because of that, I stopped getting pedicures there but continued going for my nails since I liked how they looked. This visit was different. The technician, who mentioned she previously owned a shop in the Bronx, repeatedly ignored my requests not to buff my nails. I explained multiple times that my nails are very thin, but she continued anyway, even when I pulled my hand away. She kept saying "just a little," but it was clearly too much. After the service, I could visibly see blood forming under my nail. Within three days, two of my nails had already fallen off. When another staff member noticed, they had her remove the rest of the set--but even then, she continued to buff my nails again despite me asking her to stop. She claimed she was trying to "lift the blood" from under the nail, which was extremely concerning. A male staff member eventually stepped in, confirmed that my nails had been over-buffed, and redid my full set for free. He was gentle and applied nail hardener, but by then, the damage was already done. Two weeks later, I have now lost half of my thumbnail and have been treating it. This experience was painful, stressful, and completely avoidable. I will not be returning.
