I pretty much exclusively get foot massages because I have severe psoriasis and I'm really self conscious. The massage therapists here are extremely understanding of my health issues and my decreased mobility over the years. They always make it comfortable and welcoming for me and are mindful of my autoimmune flareups. Some days I can't move properly, have zero mobility in my hands, and they accommodate me and help me move a bit better. Some days I scratch myself silly and it looks like terrifying, but they still help me find peace by putting the lotion on my calves and loosen up the muscles. I always add CBD (additional $10) but it helps calm my skin down a lot and it's great for my rheumatoid arthritis flareups. The quality and care Spring Massage delivers is comparable to those of high end "spas" without the hefty price tag. The prices are more than reasonable, their massage therapists are incredibly skilled and are willing to listen to your needs. I overheard another customer who came here for a pregnancy massage, and she had a few special requests. The owners listened and made sure they understood her completely before setting her up with a massage therapist. I arrived and explained that I needed more than the average 30 minute chair massage, and combined for 45 minutes. I was under the care of Jessica (or Jessia) and I almost cried. This skillful masseuse instinctively knew that I needed a very strong and deep massage. And she ended with my neck. I whined when it was finished because I had never felt so good. And once I sat up she stood behind me and messaged my neck for another couple of minutes. I have no idea if that is typical, or she knew the sheer level of arthritis and muscular pain I walked in with. Relaxing massages are great but that's not what I need, and I didn't even have to explain that. She was so lovely and skillful. They use a third party website to purchase gift cards. On this site, you have to sign up/create an account and book an appointment. When you get to the payment part, there is no option to use a gift card. Instead, they ask you to enter your credit card information. Why should I have to enter my credit card information if I have a gift card, especially as that was the sole purpose of having to sign up to use the gift card and schedule an appointment. That was the first red flag for me. So I thought, let me call them instead and book the appointment since the site doesn't seem to have an option to select that I have a gift card I want to use. What I didn't want to happen is I enter my credit card information and then go for my massage just to be told I have to pay with my credit card and that they wouldn't somehow recognize or even accept my gift card. This turned out to be the case. When I make the phone call, I explained I had a gift card and that I want to make an appointment. I was told to just come in and I tried to clarify if it's better to make an appointment or just walk in (people that were walking in were being told they would have to come back in an hour/45 minutes as they didn't have people avaiable). The man on the phone kept saying to come in multiple times and at some point changed his mind and said that appointment is better. I tell him what time I want to come in the next day but it doesn't seem like he really takes note of that as he didn't really ask for my information. The next day I go in just to be told that they don't accept gift cards and do not have any record of a gift card purchase and that I should get a refund. I showed them a copy of the digital gift card and also mentioned to them that they have a link on their website that allows people to buy gift cards and there wasn't really any acknowledgement of that. I told them that they might want to take that down if they don't accept gift cards as payments. They asked me if I still wanted to have a massage appointment and I declined.
