Was in the area for a nearby doctor visit and had an hour to kill. Decided to go with the 30 min foot massage with the eucalyptus salt. I didn't have an appointment so I walked in and asked their availability in which the male receptionist had let me know there is an immediate opening for 30 min. The male receptionist was fairly cold and not very attentive. I was immediately taken to the female masseuse named Dilicia (sp?). The initial start was very nice. However the massage therapist basically rubbed my legs and feet with lotion with nonexistent pressure. I had asked twice for stronger pressure and was ignored. Mia was amazing. I scheduled same day for late appointment for 1/2 foot Reflexology and 90 minute deep tissue massage. Left at 9;45pm. They spend the majority of the time on your feet and 10-15 minutes on your shoulders and back. The spa is dimly lit and they offer you a warm neck wrap and eye mask so you can completely zone out. If you want a quality foot massage with a bonus head and neck rub this is a great location! It doesn't look like very much from the outside, and the small reception area is a bit sterile, but inside it is very clean, calm and peaceful. I was instructed to pick my foot soak bath salt & opted for the eucalyptus, although they did have two other aromas available. I was then escorted to my very comfortable chair in the back, offered a blanket, and had my feet immersed in warm water. I also picked an aroma for my massage cream. It's very dimly lit to enhance the relaxation. I received the 60-minute signature foot massage which is really 15 minutes of a neck, head, and upper back massage followed by 45 minutes on the feet. I was pleased that my masseuse used firm pressure as I like that, but she did have the courtesy to check with me that her pressure level was ok. Between the massage and the calming music it was $60 (plus tip) well spent. Something to note - there really is no talking in here. This is definitely not a "go socialize with your girlfriends" kind of place. You'll have to save that for lunch afterwards. However, the entire experience was extremely relaxing and very enjoyable. I have been going to the Alpharetta location for many years. The service is always great. Lately, the person at the front desk Validia has been borderline rude. She goes from person to person with no warning, no excuse me. Often the music being piped into the massage rooms is too loud, and despite this being brought to the attention of the front desk, the music continues to be too loud. The purpose of a massage is to relax, loud music belongs in a nightclub, not a massage room. PLEASE KEEP THE MUSIC ON LOW!!! read more

After leaving a very stressful doctor's appointment, I saw signage for Heavenly Foot Massage just a short drive away. Talk about Heaven-sent! I called to make sure they could fit me in, and the receptionist told me to come right over! I could not believe the price: $45 for a 90-minute truly heavenly massage with a focus on the upper back, shoulders, neck, hands, feet of course, and calves. Going in, I had a selection of three scents from which to choose; I chose the eucalyptus. The ambience was so inviting and relaxing, and for about 80 minutes, I was the only one in the room, both my masseuse and I fully masked. And I am vaccinated! Toward the end, one other customer arrived. How could 90 minutes pass so quickly? I was not shy in telling my masseuse that I preferred firm pressure, even more firm, even more firm! I've been coming to this location for about two years now, and while there have been staff and potentially ownership changes, I really don't feel like the quality of the service has changed much. For an hour foot massage you also get very extensive upper body massage as well. The space is clean, the ambiance is tranquil (mostly), and I feel like I get my money's worth with the cost still being low enough that I can tip about 40% to the person who works on me. That said - there are definitely some of the staff that are better at actually digging in and getting the knots out, and some who just go through the motions. I've noticed this at other places I've tried with similar services so I really don't think this has to do with this business in particular. What I will say is when I started going, the price for a 1 hr foot massage was too cheap at $30, but they have raised their prices twice in the last year so it's $45 now and they have taken the prices off the front of the building because I suspect they will continue to raise them. Often, no one is at the front, and so the phone rings a lot which is kind of a buzz kill. Because I feel comfortable there, I'm not ready to find a new place for a relaxing massage, but as there are lots of these types of venues around, if prices keep going up I might just think about it. read more

Apparently I am addicted to what we jokingly call the "happy ending" massage. I am sitting here limp as a noodle, but I just had to share about this little gem. I have been to one other foot massage establishment, but this one takes the cake. It is clean feeling and has a very relaxing and quite atmosphere. For $30 you get their one hour foot massage and $50 will get you a one hour full body. My friend and I came in on a Sunday afternoon (after making an appointment just 30 minutes before we wanted to come in). We wanted to make the appointment for 3 people, but they only had two people working today. You don't have to make an appointment, but it is good to double check that they have the staff if there is more than one of you. They offer a choice of tea or water (try the yummy Tazo, Calming tea) before the massage. As the other reviewer noted, they begin the massage of arms, neck and shoulders immediately while your feet are soaking. They check that the pressure is right and they move on to your feet. My friend actually fell asleep about half-way through her massage. My feet feel like they have been made new again. If you have an hour to spare you really need to give this place a try. They are open until 10 seven days a week, so it will fit all schedules. My credit card is not going to like me as this is just a block from my house. read more

When you first walk in, they'll give you an option of which salt you want for your foot soak. Your foot massage includes a shoulder massage for 10 minutes I think...it might be 15. I usually get the hour massage for 45 bucks, it's such a steal for the money! A foot massage is also known as reflexology, it's not only relaxing but also can help ease all sorts of ailments since it is believed that the pressure points on the bottom of the feet "reflect" different organs of the body. The space is painted a very calming lavender and they play soft, soothing music as you wait. They also offer both lemon and orange infused water. Before you are taken back to the massage room you are given the choice of three different bath salt scents. I chose rose petal and it smelled divine! I got an hour long foot massage for $35. The massage started with a head, neck and face massage with lotion. You have the option of asking for no lotion or declining this portion of the massage all together. The actual foot massage was amazing and I left feeling like butter!!! The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the size of the space. The massage room houses 6 massage chairs/tables and are close together. I was with friends, but would have felt uncomfortable if I were alone and next to a stranger. Ok, you all - I'm still a little perplexed, and even moreso disappointed, by the massage I received yesterday. My husband & I alternate taking turns planning a surprise date each week. I chose massages for our date this week. I had read mixed reviews about this location, but figured I would give it a shot b/c there are always gonna negative reviews in the mix. I went ahead and made us a 6pm appointment. But, wow, I wish I had steered clear of here! My hour massage could not be finished soon enough - that is literally how I felt. Let me bullet point this debacle: - my massage woman started by asking what kind of pressure I wanted, I chose medium-hard. I was feeling optimistic at this point. -the massage starts with upper body - awesome as this is where I *NEED* some TLC due to working in the fitness industry, as well as working out intensely 4-5x/week. -during my upper body massage, lotion was basically slathered all over my head, neck, shoulders & chest (and shirt). And, I mean tons of lotion ...why?! During the scalp "massage", she was using her nails and basically scratching my head as if she was shampooing my hair. And, in the process, she teased my hair, it was so knotted! -next, lower body: same thing ...just a re-application over & over & over & over (you get my point) all over my lower legs and feet. No reflexology at all. Honestly, there was NO technique used during any of my hour (too long) massage. Just applying lotion & rubbing it in! My feet need that attention given my activity level & being on my feet all day for work. And, for the record, pressure used was light at best. I'm honestly dumbfounded by my experience. And, more importantly, shame on this business. Is there not a training process? A person should never walk out of a massage saying it was bad, especially one that is a paid service! Haha. Usually, you feel like a massage was at least "good", if not amazing! I'm even tempted to dispute my massage charge with my credit card company; this isn't something I would *ever* typically do, if it's any indication of the lack of service I received! Just ugh! If you are wondering about my husband's experience: positive! His massage woman did great, he had zero complaints. So, just as other reviews mentioned: there is major inconsistency with the skill level/ability of the massage women & men here! Again, why? This is a massage business, every customer should walk out the door feeling satisfied with the massage, regardless of which man or woman performed the massage. My husband feels like this business should refund my payment upon receiving this review. And, my husband is a very rational person! Haha. But, my point in writing this review is to share my very poor experience with others who are considering giving this place a shot, and for the business to be aware of where they are lacking. Heavenly foot massage is incredible! For only $30-40 you can have an amazing 60-90 minute foot massage which is really feet, legs, arms, neck, shoulders and scalp. This is such an affordable way to splurge and treat yourself to a day of relaxation. I find the massage therapists to all be knowledgeable and all give GREAT massage! Downside- it's always a little too noisy in here which makes it harder to relax. The therapists answer the phone in the massage area when I personally think this should be in a back room. Sometimes, if it's not busy, the therapists will lounge in the chairs waiting on guests and play phone games which I found annoying. I guess it all boils down to you get what you pay for.
