I enthusiastically came for a CPR/First Aid class because these are practical skills I want to acquire, regardless of my occupation. I recently graduated from college and want to learn something new. I walked in and a very nice young woman greeted me, checked me in, and processed my $90 payment. I then entered the room where the class would hold place and took a seat along with a few other folks. I realized that the class was going to be instructed via a webcam chat, and immediately felt uncomfortable. This was not what was advertised on the website, and I felt misled. Regardless, I stayed. The instructor went over the roster, welcomed everyone and introduced himself. I could barely understand him. I kept thinking, how will I actually learn if I can't understand what he is saying and cannot follow along. In addition to the bad sound quality, people kept coming in and out, creating additional background noise and an overall unprofessional environment. I kept cool and asked the folks around me if they could understand the instructor- they agreed the noise quality was terrible and they didn't know it was going to be virtually facilitated. I had to walk out and respectfully ask for a refund because I felt misled and I have higher standards when it comes to acquiring knowledge, no matter what it is. The gentleman in charge of the course was quite rude and disregarded me when I expressed how misleading the website is about the reality of the class. I understand they were busier than usual, but this does not take away from the fact that the website does not specifically describe what people will be paying for. This office has great reviews, but if you want to get CPR/first aid certified, I would recommend to go elsewhere or do it from home if you have the resources to. I also suggest the website is updated and specifically explains that folks will sit in front of a screen rather than have an instructor physically present. read more

This place is AMAZING! My experience was with the immigration physical exam. Before I came here, I called other places to compare prices, turn around time and appointment availability. A knowledgeable nurse answered my call and thoroughly explained the procedure. She explained the process, the time it takes, all the tests that have to be done and the price. The best part was - I got an APPOINTMENT THE SAME DAY! Not only that, but when I arrived for my appointment, everything was done QUICKLY. I appreciate the quick service as I had very little time in my lunch break and was able to just go in and out without waiting on anything. I had to come back for second appointment and it happened to be Sunday - so it did not matter that it was Sunday. I got an appointment for then too and that one only took 5 minutes (for an exam reading). The third appointment was also quick and that was when I got all my documents back. If I could give this place zero stars I would ! For one I called to get a quote on a chest X-ray , and received a great price ! Mind you this is urgent results for TB clearance, I was guaranteed by Khloe and Kelly to have results back by end of day or the next morning. It's been 3 days and haven't received anything ! As I'm missing work waiting for these results! When I called to follow up I was given an attitude and told that the results take up to 5 days which was not said at the time of collecting payment ! This place is small, clean, kind of empty but you can tell they're just beginning. It's very professional, quick and the tb test was only $30!! That's a steal in 2016! I had to get a TB test for my part-time weekend caregiving job. I Googled TB tests around Torrance and I found Wellnessmart MD. This place had really great reviews. I went there after work I think on a Monday. It was only 7 min. from where I worked. I walked in and there was no one waiting, which was really nice! The girl behind the counter asked me to enter my info on this laptop. I also filled out a really short form and signed a form or two. I paid the $30 for my TB test. She gave me the TB test and it was really quick. The girl also gave me a reminder card on when to come back to have my TB test read, which was really nice too. It gave me a two day window to have the results read. I meant to go back to get it checked on that Wed., but I forgot to go after work and by the time I realized it, they were already closed. Luckily, I still had another day to do it or else the test would have been wasted and I would have had to re-do my TB test again. I went in on Thursday after work to have my test read. This time there was a guy behind the counter and there was no one waiting like when I had gone in that Monday. He checked my left forearm where she had administered the TB test and said it was negative. It was really quick! He then filled out the form with my test results and I was out of there within 5 minutes! Went there for my daughter's school sports physical, couldn't complete it because she didn't have her new glasses.
