I was still having major issues and wanted to speak to the PA that I saw. She called me back before the end of the day and called in a new prescription for me. She cared.... However, there were several concerns during the draw: - He did not wash or sanitize his hands even though hand sanitizer was available on the side table and I offered it verbally. - He brought only one pair of gloves and used them after touching a non-sterile pillow, with no clean pair to switch into. - After using alcohol to prep the site, he wiped the site with a rough gauze that accidentally scratched my skin. (Past phlebotomists just let it air dry.) - The pressure wrap applied afterward wasn't even looped around my arm twice, so it didn't stay in place.

He was very quick to respond and when I called, he was able to stop by the same day as he was near by. He provided an estimated time and texted me updates when he would arrive. When he arrived, he was well prepared and checked over the test kit and noticed that the mailing bag was missing which I was able to easily find. He was very quick and it was very obvious he has a lot of experience. He explained what the test required running it through a centrifuge before he can mail it to the lab. He was done very quickly and was out the door in only a few minutes. This was so convenient that I plan to check with him for my future lab work.
