The front desk was poorly organized even when I was the ONLY one waiting. Even worse was the new phlebotomist who needed guidance LABELING the 14 vials. That should have been my first clue. I tolerated her poor technique until she needed two sticks to draw blood for two vials. At that point I insisted on a different phlebotomist who rapidly drew the remaining vials. I have been at this imaging center 4 times probably and had consistently poor experience every…read morevisit. One of the visits ended up being a few hours as technician couldn't find my order that I had with me. She then also left me seating for over an hour and when I asked why is it taking so long she explained she cannot find my order so she is trying to get a new one and she cannot get images out due to some technical issues. But they don't communicate that to you, you just sit and wait. The same technician was also very rough during the scan and when I let her know that she is hurting me she answered that this was normal for the scan. During other 2 scans with 2 other technicians the experience was nothing but easy. There was pressure but absolutely nothing compared to to the first one. Front desk staff have the worst attitude. You can tell they don't want to be here. Every time I come in there is something new with the check in process. Today the new thing is Kip's check in. QR code I had from pre-check in I completed at home was not scanning, so I had to re-enter all information again. Then credit card reader also was not working and didn't even read cards just threw an error so you still have to go to the front desk for assistance to the front desk and again they have so much attitude. The prompt on kiosk would say see the administrator and administrator with the attitude is yelling that you didn't do something. The prompts need to be updated before sending you to the administrator as they are directing you wrong. During the previous visits when they didn't have kiosks and you have to pay at the window hey would attempt to make you pay in full and also call you days prior to collect the full payment. When you ask to split the payment they say you cannot do even though you can and you can even split the full amount into payments. Overall would suggest to avoid this location. I received surveys from Inova and submitted complaints about previous visits.

Something I could have done while I was waiting for an hour but she didn't tell me, and probably never would have if I hadn't asked. Still getting NOWHERE. When I asked her why she didn't give me the form when I came in she said she was too busy looking for my orders. Apparently can't multitask. Seems the questionnaire would be a standard form that she shouldn't have to think about. I'd still be waiting for it if it hadn't asked. The full waiting room of 45 minutes ago is nearly empty now and every one of those people got here after o did. If you come here, do not deal with the woman with the short gray hair behind the desk. She doesn't have a clue what she's doing. Update: After horrid front desk, the tech who ran my test, Victor, was excellent. He explained the procedure, all the details. Made me feel comfortable and at ease. He was efficient, professional and had a sense of humor. He answered my questions, even the silly ones with answers that were actually answers proving that he listened. Afterwards he explained when the Dr would receive the results and asked if I had an appt scheduled with the Dr. I did talk to the office mgr about the front desk woman. Hopefully they had a chat about procedure and customer facing behavior. See Victor, the tech, skip Christina at the desk. If she offers to help you, wait for someone else.
