The positives, this place is clean and they took me on time for a scheduled appt. Staff demeanor average and the doctor friendly. Negatives: it was a waste of my money and time. Misdiagnosed a pretty simple problem. All symptoms of a kidney stone which I thoroughly explained (debilitating side pain, vomiting profusely followed by 2 weeks of bladder pain and feeling of uncontrollable full bladder). But the focus remained on a UTI for some reason. Did a urine sample, sent to labs. Missed the blood in my urine. I left there remaining in pain with no answers and waiting 2 days after the results were available for a call to only say they found nothing & call my GP. I would never recommend this place, staff or doctor. read more

the first time I came here with all my kids they were great! Today we needed to get another check up and the opposit. My kids were upset we had to leave the waiting room and the nurse was extremely rude with attitud. She just kicked us out while my husband is getting check. So I left without a fuss and I get a message from my husband and they are mocking my 4 year old who is crying out for her dad because we are getting kicked out. Recently my dad fell on the ice. We went to a couple WellNow's still open later at night, after 8pm, both with no more capacity. At this WellNow, the receptionist told me to log onto the website portal at midnight to get an appointment for the next day. We followed her advice, and were able to get my dad a spot at 11am the following morning. I'm deducting a star because of the website misinformation that walk-ins are usually able to be accommodated. That does not appear to be the case anymore, nor can you get a call into any of these places to ask if there is any space when you need them. There should be a better online system for people needing care to know whether or not a location has room at any given time, since the nature of needing a places such as this is typically unplanned and, as the name suggests, urgent. But I am still giving four stars for the kind receptionist who helped us crack the code on how to get in, and the excellent doctor my dad saw once we were in. When we arrived for our 11am appointment, a text gave us a check-in link that confirmed our arrival and advised we wait in the car. We didn't wait long to be called into a room. The initial nurse was very friendly, and the wait to see the doctor then wasn't too bad. The doctor, Dr. Titus, was so very kind and attentive. He would be fantastic in his own practice, as I'm sure patients would love to see him as their regular doctor. He was very careful with my sore dad, very sensitive and warm. Ultimately we were referred to the emergency room, which Dr. Titus called ahead to expedite my dad's check in there. Dr. Titus was really wonderful! If you can actually get into this WellNow Urgent Care, you will be in great hands with Dr. Titus if you see him. All of the staff was great during our visit. But be advised that most urgent cares seems to be unavailable to walk-ins the majority of the time at the moment, requiring an appointment, which sort of defeats the purpose of an urgent care in the first place. read more

Appointment wasn't kept. Understaffed. Digital registration does not work! This location used to be great. No medical people last night which caused us to delay care, make appointment for next day. Only one medical provider available today. Despite appointment, still had an hour wait. Existing staff seem to be trying their best. The company seems to be the problem. read more

I was in on Sunday Morning and the staff was kid, fast andinformative. I work in a group home and I had to bring in one of the residents, they explained the process and talked to him while examining him to so he remained calm. read more

Gail S. Amherst, NY I have been to this WellNow Urgent Care facility 3 times now. I have always had excellent care. The staff has been more than professional and caring. This particular time, they were short-staffed and had a full waiting room when I came in. They took me ahead of everyone as I'm on oxygen and was having a hard time catching my breath from coughing. I came here at my doctor's P.A.'s suggestion. After having a chest x-ray to see if I had pneumonia, the P.A. at WellNow Urgent Care told me to go to the hospital. I asked her if she could fax the chest x-ray over to the hospital or if I could have a copy of it. She told me that they didn't fax x-rays and that the hospital would probably want to take one of their own. At the hospital, I had to have a second x-ray taken in a matter of about 1-2 hours. They asked why WellNow didn't at least give me a copy of their x-ray? Now, I will have to pay for 2 chest x-rays and I'm on a fixed income. I don't know what WellNow's policies are but am wondering if I didn't get a copy of my chest x-ray because they were short staffed with a waiting room full of people to be looked at? Also I had conflicting test results between WellNow Urgent Care and the hospital. So not only did I waste my time and money but received no solution from WellNow Urgent Care! read more

Sad story- I am 15 weeks pregnant and contracted covid. My doctor sent me to the closest urgent care to get my oxygen levels tested (a simple oximeter that you put on your finger) and for my lungs to be listened to - and if needed, an x ray. It was late when he sent me, and when I got there, 15 mins till close. The receptionist went in the back after I told him everything, came back after 2 minutes and said "we don't do that here. I don't know any urgent cares that test oxygen levels." I said "isn't it a simple oximeter you put on my finger?" and he said no. I went back out to the car borderline crying, and watched everyone there stream out of there right at closing. I know it totally sucks to have someone come in so close to closing. But I was scared and needed care. My doctor was furious and sent me somewhere else. read more

I was misdiagnosed by a different facility and when my symptoms weren't getting better, I came here. I loved that they had a lot of Black providers who took the time to hear my concerns and not just get me in and out. I felt that the wait time is to be expected as there's a lot of people getting sick right now. Overall very happy with my experience and that they got to the bottom of it and diagnosed me properly. I also appreciated how often they checked in with snacks for anyone who wanted some. I was able to be prescribed the right medications and hope to feel better soon now that all my concerns were heard. read more

I came in to get a COVID test, was put into a room got my test and waited for OVER A HOUR to be seen by the provider just for them to check my breathing and allow me to leave. At about the 30 minute point i opened the door and said "excuse me i've been waiting for over half a hour" to which the lady says "it'll be a few more minutes we're closing soon anyway" read more

Extremely extremely unethical. Telling pregnant women to wait outside for a "few hours" and people with broken ankles to "wait outside for a few hours". Claiming you cannot make appointments and extremely nasty and rude. Awful receptionist. Possibly the worst customer service I have EVER seen. I would not recommend this business because for one they gave me the wrong script and the pharmacist told me to call them, I called them they will not answer their phone I had to go back up there to get them to correct it then I took my son about a half an hour before they closed and they told me to take him somewhere else so I really don't think that they plan to care for the patients correctly I think it's just all about money for the people that work there.
