In the old days, this was the closest lab to us for blood testing and dropping off and such. It is no better than the other Quest labs. It's probably a little faster than the one on Sheridan, but the employees aren't great and the services are average at best.

This staff's lack of empathy and customer service here is astonishingly awful. They are rude and don't hide very well that they are too busy doing non work (more details below) instead of servicing their clients/customers well. I blame it on the lack of supervisory control they once had at the hospital has freed them to be just awful to clients. I witnessed this with not just myself but everyone who walked in there. So yesterday (Friday) I walked in around 11:30am. My doctors office sent a bloodwork order earlier that morning (2 hours before I got there). When I arrived, there was 1 person in the waiting room. She had signed in about 8 minutes before I did and no one had come out yet. When you arrive, you have to sign in on a clipboard sheet and ring a doorbell to get them to come out. I did this, waited about 4 minutes, and rang again. Someone came out and I was immediately chastised that they were "busy" with others, yet there was 1 person in the waiting room ahead of me, and all the others (less than 10) had been crossed off the list. I only rang twice because no one acknowledges you, so how do you know they are aware you are there? Finally, they took me back, I saw lots of staff standing around having personal conversations. Once in the room, the staff insisted they had not received the order from my doctor. I immediately called the doctors office right there, they confirmed the 'fax' number the staff had given me and it was sent to them earlier that day, and again right after my phone call. I was told to wait in the waiting room. I did and when finished with my doctors office, I again rang the buzzer and with an "ugh" was told they didn't have the order and it was my doctors fault because they had been receiving orders all morning. No one cared to get to the bottom of this, even though they were not that busy. I want to make a point of how absolutely rude, condescending and unhelpful every single person I talked to at this location was. Plus, the walls are very thin and and one staff member in particular has a loud voice and you can hear their entire conversations in the back just sitting in the waiting room. I heard all about travel plans, and someone being corrected for doing 'too much online shopping' instead of working. After an hour of waiting for the 'fax' that they insisted was not there, (BTW I was not the only one with this issue as subsequent people who came in did as well) I asked again where is this fax? I want to point out that when they were located at the hospital, these same people would NEVER have acted like this. I know they have helped me and other people with their 'fax' issues, but outside the confines of the hospital they were emboldened to not only do the bare minimum of their jobs, they insisted there was nothing they could do and at this point they did not hide their disdain for me. At this point I remind them I've heard their conversations about me, their personal plans, shopping and vacation plans, and boy did that upset them! "That is personal information!!" one shouted at me - but I could not help but hear her through those thin, newly painted walls!! I left without the bloodwork, got a hard copy from my doctor and will go somewhere else like KSL or Catholic Health. So when you go, if you don't have your doctors bloodwork order, go somewhere else. Even if you do, be prepared for the rudest, most condescending, staff that should not be in a field requiring empathy and compassion. All I can say is I hope someone at Kaleida reads and either re staffs that location and fires this group or forces them to work in the confines of the hospital where they would be better behaved.

The position of the scanner was awkward to scan my phone. I chose Express check in and just needed to give my phone number, that was easy. The wait was short. The tech I had was pleasant and did a really good job. They needed many tubes but I didn't feel bad at all, it was quick. Great job!

I went to Quest on Sheridan drive. Lawanda drew my blood and caused terrible bruising. She blew my vein in spite of the fact that I warned her I was a difficult draw and asked her not to dig. She also had no clue how to deal with my paperwork and had to finally get help. Terrible experience. Quest standards have definitely negatively changed.

There are designated spots to the left when you pull in the parking lot that are clearly marked for Covid-19 testing. Pull in one of the parking spots and someone comes to your car within minutes. Have your mask on with your health insurance card and ID ready. There's no charge for the test. Test results are usually back within 24-48 hours. Mine were back in 26 hours. Go online on their website to check your results. The staff was very friendly and asked if I had any questions. Very fast and efficient process!

You check in on a touch screen (with hand sanitizer right next to it). If you want to wait outside they'll text you when they're ready for you. Also all names are listed on the TV screen with estimated wait times. Very helpful. The blood draw itself is quick and easy and very safe. Pretty much as its always been there. As a patient of the headache clinic I have to say Rachel and Michelle are truly the best. Kind,…read morecaring and empathic but if you need anything not done by them you will not receive any help. I had a sleep study ordered in October and I was told someone would call me which they did in March. And that was after I left multiple messages asking to schedule. A new medication prescribed on March 25th that required prior was not done until a month later and that wasn't due to Anthem BCBS or my pharmacy not advising Dent of this but because the nurse forgot. If I hadn't asked the nurse about another medication for my migraines the auth would never have been done. When I called to schedule my MRI the first available was 5 weeks out. Due to my claustrophobia I always have sedation which has been done by the nurses at Dent. When I scheduled the imaging I was told to arrive 1/2 an hour early for the sedation. Imagine my surprise when I get there to be told the sedation was actually sent to my pharmacy something the woman scheduling nor the nurse at dent told me was being done. The receptionist was unable to reschedule it because "dent doesn't train front desk on scheduling just check in and to call back to reschedule". After all of this I called early this morning and left a message for Kristen one of the managers. Instead of calling me back she had Mary Grace do it because as Mary Grace said Kristen was too busy to talk to me. I understand now I am just a paycheck for the staff at dent. With a high deductible plan I get text messages and a phone call prior to any visit about the cost for "care" and to make sure I have money in hand. I know I'm just a number to Dent but I would have hoped that they see patients as actual people and not just as dollar signs
