I was a patient on the 2nd floor for a week during April 2022. During my stay, all those who cared…read morefor me were wonderful. There were a few individuals who really stood out as going above and beyond. I would like to share the ways they helped to make my hospital stay more comfortable. There were several individuals in and out of my room to clean. All were friendly and did a wipe down of some surfaces, swept and emptied trash bins. There was one young lady named Arin however who disinfected every surface in the room. She wiped down the chairs, doorknobs, bedside table and every other exposed surface, and did all her cleaning in a timely manner. I was very impressed with her thoroughness. She made me feel that the room was really well sanitized. Marcia and Bree were two nursing techs who stood out above the rest. They seemed to know and respond to what I needed before I knew myself. They were so on top of things, always making sure my water cup was filled, I had what I needed for hygiene and comfort, communicating my thoughts, questions and concerns to the nurses and the doctor, and striving to provide a level of comfort that is difficult to find as a hospital patient. I found the respiratory staff to be among the finest that have cared for me. I have chronic respiratory issues and have stayed in other hospital facilities over the past several years, but Alicia, Dan and Garrett really stood out. My first night was difficult as I couldn't catch my breath and the oxygen tube to my nose did not seem to help. I can't remember at this time what it was called, but Dan set me up with a mask system that included moisture and pulled air in from the room as well as providing the doctor's recommended level of oxygen. I was finally able to breathe with this, which was not only a great relief physically, but also calmed my nerves so that I could rest. One thing that stood out was that while he worked with me, he explained everything he was doing and how it should work, keeping my mind occupied. This comforted me (no matter how many times I go through it, it is still very scary not to be able to breathe without fighting for each breath) and calmed both my respiration and my emotions. When I was able, he introduced me to exercises to open and strengthen my lungs. As he did this he made sure that my thoughts and feelings were heard and validated. Alicia's manner was similar and each time she worked with me she also was able to put me at ease with her calm, engaging way of providing information about what was going on with my breathing and oxygen levels. Her nurturing manner cultivated a level of comfort that, again, was so welcome in the hospital setting. Garrett first helped out in the ER, and I was impressed with his precision when he tested my level of blood gasses. His focus and ability to hit just the right spot made for a pain free experience. All of the respiratory staff did good work as they took me through my breathing treatments and exercises, but these three really stood out to me as demonstrating excellence. I found the nursing staff to be top notch, and all were knowledgeable, caring and efficient. Yet Mariah sticks with me as being extra attentive and compassionate. When dealing with other issues on the floor she made sure that I was informed by other staff members if there would be any delays or changes in my care. With her, I felt that I was on top of what was happening in my day-to-day routine as an inpatient. It was obvious that all of the folks mentioned above take their positions very seriously and are dedicated to going over and above to care for others. As I said before, everyone I encountered on the Cameron staff was wonderful. I just wanted to make it known that the ones mentioned above really stand out and rank above excellent. I was very impressed with the staff at Nova Care in Sturgis even on my first physical therapy…read morevisit. Amy was helpful and her smile set me at ease. Peter and Nicole were both very professional. Nicole explained that my neck and shoulder muscle pain was being caused by those muscles attempting to compensate for the shoulder rotary cuff injury I had incurred. Nicole was very informative, took time to explain the inner workings of my shoulder and what she hoped therapy would accomplish. I found Peter and Nicole to be understanding, patient and in the end I have much less discomfort because of their expertise. I feel like I have made some new friends and highly recommend everyone in the sturgis staff! Gary H

I can't say enough about the staff, they helped us through the paperwork and were very kind. From everyone from the janitors, the food service, the administrators, nurses... everyone was so kind and nice. The only thing mom didn't like was the food. I get my cleanings 3 times a year; and, so far, being a senior citizen, my natural teeth are still in my head. Happy Camper!!

My husband's tooth had gotten terrible and was extremely painful. We arrived to our appointment on July 3rd at 1:45 pm and found a note on their door that they had CLOSED at 1:00 pm for the Holiday weekend!!!! We did not receive a call or a letter to reschedule!!!!! (I know when I made the appointment, I gave them all our updated information!) When I called and complained they made excuses and blamed it on a the girl that made the appointment and stated she no longer works there. No accountability!!!!!!! I will never recommend them!!!! They will close early at the last minute and not tell you!!! I left work at noon to drive my husband to his appointment only to find they left early for the holiday! While I husband was faced with a long weekend of pain from his tooth!

1 Star Customer Service…read more I was rushed and not listened to by the owner, Jennifer Lambart, on initial visit in Edwardsburg. I made a 2nd appt for dilation that was skipped 1st time and to review the rx that I knew wasn't right for me, but she refused to see me again or discuss the rx. Then told me to go somewhere else for a 2nd opinion, which I couldn't afford, so I went to their location in Dowagiac. Day of appt. there was a lot of snow, and I showed up a few minutes late. The owner told the receptionist if I was late to refuse to see me. That's retaliation. I am disabled and have health challenges, because of this, I had requested an extended appt. when scheduling to cover any tardiness or being slow in the office (w/ my mobility limitations). There was nobody else was in the office or scheduled after me, so it wasn't about keeping to the schedule. The owner was just taking something out on me. That doctor, Katherine Marshall, actually listened to me and we got the correct rx, but the lady helping me pick glasses didn't give me enough info to make an informed decision. So ended up not get the lenses right. They wanted $300 more to get what I needed, which I couldn't afford at that time, but might have if the initial price had been given to me because the payment came from a donor. After reviewing the situation several times the lady refused to admit her mistake, blaming me (the customer) for not knowing the details of how lenses are made and that I'd need a higher quality (more expensive) material. I have severe health challenges which prevent me working and limit my ability to get normal tasks done. (Currently in the SSA Disability process.) Since I wasn't able to come up with the funds right away, they asked me to go somewhere else and return the glasses for a refund. Instead of making things right, which would be proper customer service, they keep just saying "go away". Terrible way to run a business. In that phone call I said I was trying to find help to pay the additional $300 and it was taking some time, the lady in the billing dept said she'd talk to the owners and get back to me, she never did, nor did she tell me I had to make that decision to return/refund within a week. But 3 months later, I hadn't been able to come up with the funds and finally decided to give up. So I called to talk about the return of the glasses for a refund. The glasses haven't been worn at all since they actually caused me more problems when I put them on. They have been sitting wrapped in a cloth in their case the whole time. The lady from billing refused. She lied and said I had a week to return them and now has been too long, but she didn't say that nor did she ever call me back after the 1 initial phone call. She didn't want to talk to me any longer about it so I think put me on hold or just mute for a few minutes refusing to answer me anymore until I finally ended the call. I had also called her a week before this and left a voicemail mentioned the return and asking her to call me back about it, and she also lied saying she never got a call from me. But now I see why she ignored it. I then called to speak directly to the owner, they didn't put her on the phone, so I left a message, and she has never returned my call. Over many months I dealt with several different people and there is an extreme lack of customer service, basic honesty, accountability, and more.

I guess I can't properly post a review since have not been seen by them yet…read more But I did book am appointment on the day I was to go in I got a call saying that since I had not been seen in almost a year my fee would not be the $40 but instead $75 plus taxes Seems a bit unfair since covid lockdown is the reason had not been seen . The only treatment I always have had in the past yrs is a click of what looks like a clicker takes 3 mins tops and that includes entering the room and leaving So was very disappointed when I was told couldn't have the regular fee that it would almost double I cost . Seems a bit unfair that price almost doubles because the service had doors closed due to covid But I did find innisfil clinic offered to see me

Dr. Hatt is very knowledgeable and thorough with my wellness and history pertaining my back issue. Dr. Hatt is very friendly and very professional and answered any questions I had. I promise what 6 years of other doctors not being able to help me with systems long term, Dr Laura did it it 3 weeks. I now have my oldest daughter and her grandma and my neighbor going and all with great success. Did i mention they have the sweetest dogs wondering around to calm you while your there! I couldnt be more happy with my experience.
