No complaints. Probably the best wings in town. Staff is well-versed on the menu and are able to answer questions easily. I've always ordered to-go but the food is always hot and exactly to my expectations when I arrive. Stopped in for some food to go. Ordered a 20 piece and some family size crinkle cut fries. My order was ready fairly quick and piping hot. I remember coming to this location when I was in high school 5 years ago! This was my favorite place to eat wings and after not coming for a while I have returned. I noticed they had a new logo but the food is just as good as I remembered. Also they have extended the menu a bit and they have many options, even salads! I will be back often. read more

The food here is great! The wings were very delicious. I had the lemon pepper bone-in, and I've never had a crisp wing like that and I fell in love. The fries were delicious and crisp as well. The restaurant was well kept, and the food was worth the pricing. The girl working the register was very helpful, but did not seem super excited to be there. Maybe a long day, but she was nice. Wow.....talk about either the best or the worst. I have come here a few times and it has been great. I wrote about it and was singularly impressed. A little hole in the wall place with great chicken wings. So what happened yesterday? I think the owners or managers were just not there. It was around lunch time. We (2 of us) came in and ordered 2 wing dinners to a cashier that was simply not interested in being there and certainly in us bothering her with wanting to order. She was talking on the phone to a friend and I guess it was important because we and another couple just stood there....I heard part of the conversation and it had to do with something someone had done.... to quote what I heard......"HE DID WHAT!!!". We finally ordered then sat down and we waited. It appears if you are there you are simply considered only after all the take-out orders are filled. So we waited. After about 15-20 minutes I asked where our order was. The response was that I was clearly disturbing the front end staff because there was simply no response. The amazing thing was that it was not that busy. The main person (owner or manager) was not there...I was told this when I asked for him or her .... The food was cold and I think had either been microwaved or kept over from the month before. It was chewy and really substandard. Okay.....I realize I had strongly recommended this place. A friend of mine had a similar experience as this and I wondered what had happened. Now I know. There appears to be people in charge and if they are not there.....(and I wish I knew how to check this) make a 180 degree turn and get out of there....fast..... So much for small treasures in west Mobile. Better avoid this one until they get their act together or post a sign that says...someone is here that "GIVES A DAMN". read more

I decided to try this place again after many years. I stood for several minutes waiting to be assisted. I was not acknowledged. However, the young lady quickly assisted the next patron who entered as soon as he arrived. I guess I was invisible. They had a .69 wing on special tonight. I called my order in, and no one bothered to mention this discounted rate. Therefore, I paid more than was necessary. Bad business. The customer service (or lack there of) aside, let's talk bird. The chicken had NO seasoning. NONE. NADA. ZIP. ZERO. ZILCH. BLAND. BLAND. BLAND. I had to come home and add my own lemon pepper seasoning just to make it palatable. We love this place! We enjoy their boneless wings and a variety of sauces. I must say their wings are not all dried out like some other wing places. Excellent curly fries, onion rings amazing, mushrooms yummy and actually we have been pleased with all food ordered. The last time we ordered call in, the girl got my order wrong but I made the best of it but she also messed up the sides. We prefer blue cheese and she put in ranch even after I specified. So that's disappointing when you are looking forward to something. They are fairly close to where we live so all around they are our wing place!! Much preferred to BWW. read more

Tried this place for the first time and WOW! I ordered traditional lemon pepper wings which are 79¢ on Thursday's. They were the best I've ever had. They had the perfect mix of actual lemon taste (often it's not enough lemon to me) and pepper. The wing flavor was baked on crispy not drowning in liquid- which is perfect. Slow. Called in my order said 15-20 mins so I get there in 20 mins. I pay for my food and then 20 mins later I finally get up to ask about my food and the kitchen looks around and says it's ready. How long had it been ready!! Chicken barely warm when I got it home. Not even a sorry from anyone. A lot of high schoolers working and didn't seem like anyone was in charge. And they were out of ice. Food is good but service and logistics is horrible! If you have 30 mins to wait for chicken that takes 4 mins to cook then go and enjoy!! read more

Probably one of the best wing places in West Mobile. Sometimes they have good specials but I think you need to come in to order those. They have a variety of sauces to choose from. A couple of my favorite sauces are the lemon pepper and the buffalo garlic. read more

The wings are good. My issue is service, even though relatively polite. When you order 10, 20 and 20 piece wings your price is $5 higher than a 50 piece wings. I feel they should give you the best price, $5 is $5. Also when you buy a kids meal that includes a kids drink, you shouldn't have to remind them to issue a cup (mine was forgotten).I know these seem picky to some people. I just think competency in an employee is necessary not just a plus. read more

Normally I get wonderful tenders here however, my last visit I again ordered 20 tenders, only to get home and find 20 tiny boneless wings that could not feed my guests. Upon visiting the store today, the manger explained that my order was rung up wrong, but made no effort to rectify the past issue. I eat from Wemo's food truck frequently and the service is fast and the wings delicious. I just got back from my first trip to the Wemo's on Schillinger with a pickup order and was very disappointed. The food tasted great but I got shorted. I called in an order for 20 wings for $17.99 and was told of a special for 25 wings for $19.99. Better deal but when I got home and started dishing out the food it looked short so I counted and only got 19 wings. When I phoned Wemo's the manager said that I had to bring all the food back to get a reorder. Riiight...I'm going to snatch the bones off these folks plates. Just saying. . . Really good wings..they are "naked", not breaded - which is my preference. They have a good selection of sauces - but I always stick with the Buffalo sauce when I'm trying a place for the first time - easier to make comparisons. The french fries were frozen, but OK; the cole slaw was OK. But, like I said, the wings are really good - and that's why you go to a wing place. They get one extra star for being a LOCALLY owned, independent restaurant.......open 7 days a week (consistently)...being open for many years in the same place....and still able to compete with the "big boys" of chicken wings!!
