Beautiful color, but unfortunately, with the model year being 19 years ago, and only that one year, Yamaha quit making the spare parts years ago, and none were available worldwide. Trust me, I looked. What was available were the same parts from one of the less desirable years and colors, so I bought 2006 parts, in Cobalt Blue, and went looking for someone to paint them. Based on Paint Perfect's fantastic reviews, I ventured north to Florence to see Tanner, and asked if he could make the parts the right color, so I could get my FJR back together again. He told me yes, and he sure did! Great kid, fantastic work ethic, and almost as picky as me, which is 10 times pickier than most of y'all! Progressive paid Rocky for work, HE NEVER DID! Family emergency and then disconnected his phone and left his shop unlocked with my car and other cars there / and keys exposed in the front lobby, knowing he was being evicted! Progressive made it right, and we took it to Black Diamond. This was 2 mos of me not having my car! I almost had a mental breakdown- horrid nightmare. The minute I met the Black Diamond owner - I almost fell to my knees praising him and his staff to prioritize my car. They are unbelievable!!! Today I took my car into Rock Collision after it was damaged in a parking lot earlier that same…read moreday. I was especially upset because this was the exact area that Rock Collision had repaired for me just a few months ago. When I called, they immediately told me to bring it in so someone could take a look and see if anything could be done, maybe even buff it out. When I arrived, Frankie came out personally, buffed out the transferred red paint, and made the damage look so much better. He also pointed out two small spots where the paint had chipped and explained that they would need touch-up paint. He even told me exactly what to ask the dealership for and said that if I didn't feel comfortable doing the touch-up myself, I could just bring it back and he would help me with it. This level of customer service is rare these days. Rock Collision truly cares about their customers, takes pride in their work, and treats people with kindness and honesty.
