I indicated to him that it was illegal to charge me a tax that they were not paying to the state. I asked if they had a manager and he responded that "we have several". When I requested the manager on site she came over she said they always charge tax on pop but I indicated I hadn't even ordered a drink. She then yelled out to her employees to "don't charge tax on orders to go since some customers might bitch". Totally unprofessional and unnecessary. A burrito or bowl is $10.49. This is higher then competitors but allows you to get steak or pork without a surcharge. I like that they have pineapples and offer a choice of cheese (cheddar and several white). Moes went to all white mixture of mystery cheese. Ditto for Chipotle. They also have grilled onions and grilled veggies as options. I didn't like that the preparer couldn't communicate well (English was 2nd language) when I asked what items were or if they were included. I kept having to go back and read a postcard that was at the front of the line. They had a lot of enhancement (sauces) but you couldn't see them all and she couldn't tell me what they were. They had drinks to go which I didn't see until after I bought a drink. Disappointed they had no diet drinks unless you count Pepsi Zero. I would have preferred diet pepsi. The meal didn't blow me but was acceptable. The chicken was tasteless and in too small of pieces. I will give it a shot again and try the steak. I really think this location would benefit from a $25 limit in the drive-thru. Too often I am stuck behind many people that place very large orders and go through the drive-thru where you can hear the total is $40+ and they are handed 3+ bags. Then when you pull up the cashier is taking the aggravation out on you. To me, common courtesy is to take large orders inside so maybe that rant isn't Taco Bells fault but when the line takes more than 20 minutes, there is a problem that they should address.
