I love burgers and heard these were the best so I drove over an hour to try them. I'll start with the positive... the burgers are pretty good. They are sliders and you can choose their toppings. Now the negatives. When I got there I was immediately disappointed for two reasons. They only accept cash and they were drive through only. I didn't get a chance to go inside so I cannot attest for the condition inside. There are four tables outside to eat at and no restrooms. For a place that has been making burgers since 1927, they make them painfully slow. The drive through line was 10+ cars, but I never had to wait an hour in other burger lines that long. There are only two people working there, but still. When I pulled up for my order, a group of 6+ bikers arrived and the person left me to take their order. Their disregard for waiting customers was very disappointing. I also felt like the worker was very short with me and it felt unwelcoming. This place is also very wasteful because they put each slider in its own paper bag and I ended up with seven paper bags. Overlooking all of that, I would like to eat that food again but there is no way I will go through that again.

While a bit out of the way, if youre ever in this area, I was told Crabill's is just one of those establishments you must try. In business since 1927! I drove by it once and saw that it had a drive thru line out into the street and down the block, so that always seems to be a good sign. The next time I was in town I planned this for lunch. The inside was still closed for service. There are several picnic tables on the side of the building for a nicer day. I took the advice given and got several of the burger sliders with cheese and all the toppings. Theres no frills here, the burgers come out in a paper bag all stacked on top of each other! Dont forget the napkins! These are tiny sliders, so you should definitely order several. I thought they were really good and had a unique flavor. Definitely worth stopping by, and I would again if I was in the area.

    Double cheese slider

Wait was worth it. Drove 60 minutes round trip and waited 30 in line. The sliders were very good. I got a few to save for a few days. I'll be back

Since we have not been eating inside due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we thought we would travel around central Ohio and hit well known hamburgers carry-outs. This led us on a 50 minute journey to Crabill's. They could tell we were newbies when we ordered a burger and fries for each of us. We did not realize they were sliders. We did order 3 a piece then. Also, they do not have french fries. I made the mistake of ordering singles. The meat to bun ratio was not good. You have to get the double. It seemed like all bun, as you can tell by the pictures. Also, cheese would have helped to give it more flavor. I could hardly taste the onions or pickles.

All I can say is this place needs some competition across the street. Cash only, no indoor seating and not great service.

The burgers are tiny, greasy and tasty. Given that they are tiny, the price is just too high.

The food left much to be desired. Our table of 7 ordered a variety of dishes such as the Rise and Shine, Country Breakfast Skillet, a pancake, and breakfast sandwich. The grits were watery with zero salt or butter. We tried to doctor them up by adding lots of salt and butter but it was useless The eggs had no salt or pepper although they do a nice job of cooking over easy eggs which some places fail at. Homefries, which were really hasbrowns, were mushy and bland. The pancake was dry. The bacon and toast were good.

It's the kind of place where the biscuits are fluffy, the coffee's always hot, and the welcome is as warm as the griddle. This morning, we popped in for breakfast, and from the moment we stepped through the door, we knew we were in good hands. That feeling was confirmed when Holly, our waitress, greeted us with a smile and the kind of friendly service that makes you feel like a regular--even if it's your first visit. I went all-in with The Hog Log, and let me tell you, this is not your average breakfast burrito. It's a hearty wrap filled with sausage, bacon, ham, scrambled eggs, and cheese, all rolled in a soft flour tortilla and smothered in rich, homemade sausage gravy. Every bite had that perfect balance of smoky, creamy, and savory flavors--and the gravy? Next-level delicious. My wife ordered Uncle Dave's Favorite Breakfast, which comes with your choice of pancakes or French toast, eggs done your way, a breakfast meat, and toast. She chose pancakes, bacon (crispy but not burnt), whole wheat toast, and eggs over medium. The pancakes were fluffy and golden, the bacon had that perfect crisp, and the eggs were cooked just right--firm whites with warm, runny yolks. It was classic comfort on a plate. The décor is classic country diner meets local charm--think rustic wood accents, sweet signs on the wall, and the kind of vibe that makes you want to slow down and savor the morning. Whether you're a local or just passing through Champaign County, The Farmer's Daughter is worth the stop. The portions are generous, the food is fresh, and the service--especially from folks like Holly--makes the experience even better. So go ahead, order the Hog Log. Or Uncle Dave's. Or both. You'll thank me later. Sorry my camera wasn't working so no pictures Take the Trip, your Next Adventure is waiting. #TakeTheTripByBrian

One person at the table actually sent their meal back and asked them to microwave it. I just didn't eat mine. I took 4 bites and decided I would just go home and make something better. Home fries and hash browns are NOT the same things, verify before you order. Over medium eggs were not. There was shell in the eggs. Gravy is out of a can and not good and not hot by any means. Biscuits are store bought and served cold. Coffee is ok. They said the cinnamon roll was made fresh in house. I was excited to try. It was so hard I needed a steak knife to cut it. When I actually asked when the cinnamon roll was made the server said several days ago. That's not fresh. Prices were ok. Benches are hard. This place is small, clean, but just not good food. Hours later we were still talking about how it could be so bad. It almost seemed on purpose to have been this...meh. I actually look out and support local businesses so I hope others will too but this is a tough one to support.
