I went for the burger because I really didn't want fried chicken. The banana shake is a bit too sweet and artificial for my tastes. NO drink included. Fries were cold. Burger was meh. Ordered via the app and changed the pick-up time before the cut-off to maybe 15 minutes past the initial time... but it didn't matter because the food was quite cold by the time we got it. It seemed like the employees just made the food whenever they got the order and it just sat around until we came by. Not a great experience. I would recommend ordering closer to your actual pick-up time which eliminates the chances of the workers completing the order too far in advance. read more

Not sure why this place gets such bad reviews. Stopped by while passing through. Ordered on the app which always has some deal- this time I got a free 6p nugget with purchase. It can get busy during lunch time. Staff were attentive and friendly place was pretty empty. Seems like mostly to go orders. Quality is what you'd expect from fast food. read more

The food itself is fine but the Sysco Breakfast Sauce is Nasty!! It's the same Maple Breakfast Sauce McDonalds, Burger King and every other Breakfast Menu on the planet uses. Cannot recommend the breakfast menu. Burgers and Chicken sandwiches are fine. Also, the parking lot has no exit as the adjacent laundromat blocked it off. Last night they were out of kid's meals. They were out of the bags and toys. So today we need to eat out again and I figured I'd better call ahead. It's only about 4pm and no one is answering the phone. It just goes straight to an automated message. When I worked at Wendy's the manager always answered the phone no matter if it were dinner or lunch rush. This is ridiculous especially when indoor customers now have to make orders themselves. It's unfortunate that one of my favorite fast food places have deteriorated over the years. Usually order thru doordash or drive thru late in the evening so it is understandable that quality and service isn't at it's highest level. Usually the food is at room temperature and not even luke warm upon receiving. In addition, there is usually something wrong with the order. With other places nearby, Wendy's definitely is at the lowest option for dining for fast food. Every meal is has been mediocre at best for me. The reason for me writing a yelp review is because Alexander gave great service today. I ordered the Misfortune meal and an apple pecan salad meal. My order was a total of 3 bags plus 2 drinks. I asked for a cup holder earlier while waiting for my order to prepare. When my order was ready Alexander asked me if I wanted a big bag to fit all 3 bags in to make it easier to carry. While it's such a small gesture, to me it shows how he went above and beyond to think of the customer's needs. So many fast food places out there don't care if you struggle to carry your order. I have gotten takeout food about 5 times in the last few months, and service at the window is terrible beyond belief. They usually get my order wrong, even if I had to repeat what I want 3 or 4 times. A couple of times the food was hardly even warm and gave the impression that it had been sitting on the counter for an hour or two. Some of the "workers" there hardly even understand English. What this excuse for a restaurant needs is entirely new management and better quality workers who can actually do the job. read more

When they have something on sale in advertisements better check your receipt to see if they overcharge you for it. I tried pointing it out after leaving the drive thru. I went back inside showing them the mistake in the price advertised on the window of the building to which the manager said that I have have to notify the guy on the drive-through speaker that it's on sale and it's a lower price. My answer baloney if it's on ad, your staff should know it, if they don't know it then the manager is not doing their job. This location in my opinion is just trying to overcharge unsuspecting customers. Would rate this negative 5 stars if possible. Came here with my husband on 10/25 Wednesday at 1:33pm for lunch. Our first inconvenience was the language barrier. If you're not comfortable & fluent in English... Why in the world are you working at the drive thru saying "Huh" & "What"? Not understanding our order, making us repeat ourselves while there's a whole line of cars waiting. I recognized this was going to be an issue so I told my husband to just tell her the order at the window. I was confused to why she looked annoyed as we approached the drive thru window? Like how are you not fluent in English but mad at me for repeating my order? If anything WE should be annoyed! Whole time this cashier Juana is looking at us like we stole her puppy. Like make it make sense. She was mad that we stated from the beginning we had 2 separate orders. She also said there was a rule for 1 coupon per car, I asked her to show me it in writing, preferably in policy. She refused. I stated I wanted corporate's number to follow up about this rule. At the end of the day we're paying customers, we had coupons & wanted to use em. We weren't robbing the place, we weren't disrespecting anyone... We did politely tell her that "it's Not our fault she can't understand us, & I don't understand why she has an attitude?" Then when we asked for ranch, she said 1 per car Like Juana we all know you hate your job & that was very petty of you as a grown woman.. You knew what you signed up for working here at Wendy's. My short-lived drive thru experience here was not what I expected, I was annoyed. It mostly had to do with the employee who took my order. As a long time customer, I used to come here with my family when I was in elementary school. Lately now when I do get Wendy's from this location it's either with Ubereats or drive thru. With my order at drive thru, I had to repeat my order a couple times and I'm not too sure if she really listened and understood my order. I ordered the classic crispy chicken sandwich, a medium fries and bbq sauce. At the window to pay, the female employee asked if the sandwich was all I ordered so I told her no. I repeated my order again, and she gave me the total. Then I asked her to confirm that the sandwich has pickles on it. She totally didn't listen and said the total price again. ***Sigh*** Like whyy?? This was during covid. I came here after ordering on the app, and then waited something like 7-8 minutes for picking up my breakfast order (which feels a bit long). In the wait time, I had constant view of the inside of their kitchen. It actually did look quite clean, and the workers all had masks, although I did spot someone wearing the mask on their chin. (If I ever want 100% mask rate, it's probably in my food prep..) The food was more or less what I expected. For a fast food place, I suppose I mostly want it to be quick (it takes me 15 minutes to drive here, and then still waited almost ten minutes after). I'd also want to know that people working on my food take cleanliness and pandemics very seriously. Additionally, this particular Wendy's doesn't seem to have a great speakerphone system. Compared to other Wendy's I've visited, this one is relatively better. I got a fried chicken sandwich here during my last visit and it wasn't soggy and gross like a previous sandwich I had gotten at another location. However, the chicken is on the dry side unless you get a bite that has a little bit of sauce. But of course, the sauce isn't evenly spread throughout the burger. I will give it to this location when it comes to the fries though. Their fries are perfectly salted - not too much, not too little, and not greasy. It's the kind of fries that makes you eat every last one, even if you're already stuffed from the rest of your meal. Definitely a good place to stop off for some fast food if you're passing through Belmont and before getting on the freeway. read more

I've only been once to this location, but they had really hot and crispy fries! The spicy chicken sandwich was sooo good, it was actually spicy and really tasty, haha. I ordered the large fries and a spicy chicken sandwich via the app. The mobile app has so many discounts, I might go back to get some more chicken nuggets. This Wendy's is better than most other locations in the Bay Area. The prices are cheaper and the staff are cool. When Wendy's was running promos on the it mobile app, this location honored multiple promos, which is better than other locations that say it's one promo per person per day. The wait times have not been bad at all and parking is easy. It is located the corner of a busy intersection so it can be difficult to get into at peak traffic hours. It's also been generally clean so dine in is good. The staff should keep up the good work, which should help improve the general yelp rating for this location. As for food, the burgers are good and done as you'd expect. The salads are also pretty fresh. It's great when they run the free half salad promo with any purchase. You can essentially purchase an order of chicken nuggets plus a half salad for $1.19! Killer deal! AND they let me do a second order of nuggets plus the free Dave's burger with any purchase promo when it was active in September. Definitely get the mobile app before you order. read more

I drive up to drive thru to order! The employee (Alejandro) was very rude and disrespectful from the start. As I asked him to give me a moment! He get upset and ignores me for no reason! I pull up to the window and he claims I was being rude! He charges my card for my order and another order(theft) purposely and withheld my card for 5 minutes possibly taking pictures.
