This is a good Five Guys location. It took 10 minutes for my food to come out. Excellent cashier and chef. This is what fast food should be, fast and accurate. My order was a bacon cheese burger $14, fries M $6.59 and a shake $6.39. The food tasted fine. They could have put in more mushrooms and onions though. I only found two small pieces of each. The patties were flavorful. However, the bun was not sturdy enough to hold the innards of the burger. As for the fries, they were way too salty. I had to wipe the salt off each fry to make them edible. Eating too much salt gives me stomach aches. High salt intake will increase the risk of gastric cancer. We ended up throwing half of them away, as the bottom pieces had even more salt. This location is so much better than the defunct San Bruno Tanforan branch. At that location, the chef used to push his thumbs through the foil paper piercing every bun. The ingredients were all smashed in and everything spills out of the foil paper when you open it. read more

Such a clean and pleasant environment, the best burger place in town! The staff here are super friendly and always cook everything perfectly. Just went to this location about 5 minutes ago so at 9:28pm. Walk in they told me the lights turn off 30 minutes before the store is fully closed. Attached below is there hours to just add that. They close @10pm. So just know if you show up 30 minutes before closing they are already closed. On top of it I work in customer service the employees were not kind about it... so disappointing as I come here a lot. read more

Located in Redwood Shores, parking is plentiful and easy to find. Noise level is average. Fries were crispy and not too salty but quite oily. The shakes are so yummy too. I got a classic vanilla shake. The consistency was a good balance of thick and watery. The burger was decent. There's a lot of variety of ingredients to put in it. The party was juicy and flavorful. The food is always perfectly well-cooked and prepared just the way that I requested. This location has plenty of parking. Located in the Marketplace at Redwood Shores shopping center along Redwood Shores Parkway (across from Electronic Arts [EA]), this is a great spot to pick up a burger to go. You can pick up groceries at Nob Hill or grab some other things in the same shopping center. As far as Five Guys restaurants, this might be one of my favorite locations. My husband and son have been telling me about 5 guys for some time now. Im not such a big fan of burgers. I do like In-n-out. So today I finally tried 5 guys and wow was it good. Its better than in-n-out. It tastes so fresh and they offer more choices. They use peanut oil and offer you peanuts so if your allergic to peanuts then you want to avoid 5 guys. I actually had no clue until my son pointed it out. They do have boxes of peanut oil near the seating area as well as bags of peanuts. The atmosphere is very laid back. They are a few dollars more expensive than in-n-out. But the taste is so worth it. We will be back. I think i appreciate burgers more because of 5 guys. Thanks 5 guys !!! read more

We went here last minute after restaurant nearby was closed even after accepting an order on Yelp powered by GrubHub. We had four burgers cooked to order and fries. We did notice something, apparently now the regular burger means a double. It did not used to be that way, you ordered single, double etc. So we were all surprised when we got doubles. Don't get me wrong, they were delicious. The location by my house (not this location) always smashes the burgers down so hard while cook you get dry shoe leather. We stopped going there. The kind woman who took my order went above and beyond to help me get the best order possible suited towards to my dietary restrictions, really being a pleasure to talk to the entire time, which felt like a breath of fresh air from the rushed and "everyone's just a number" kind of demeanor I'm used to at burger joints. I went super hungry, looking to get some bacon to satisfy my cravings. There were multiple orders and customers yet only 3 people.
