I'm from Hellertown so I've been to this Wendy's nearly a hundred times. As of the past 2-3 years this Wendy's has progressively gotten worse. I don't know if it's because of some sort of new management or just a slow decline for other reasons, but it definitely has lost its own in the last few years. The whole staff is made up of young kids(high schoolers, if not a little older) who couldn't care less about customer service. If you go through the drive through be prepared... you will be waiting a long time and at the end of your wait you'll be met with rude unhappy worker and your food(which they rarely get right). I wonder when any of this going to be addressed? If you look at their reviews from the past year or so they are all 2 stars or less(like mine). When is management gonna step up and do what's necessary to improve this fast food joint. Cause eventually people are just gonna stop going here. There's a McDonald's down the road and other options not too far as well. All I leave you with is; please DO NOT go to this Wendy's! They do not deserve your time and or money. read more

We only stop by twice a year, but the service is always adequate, the food hot and tasty, and the staff polite. It is hardly a shining example of excellence - the bathrooms are always messy and the staff is reactive rather than proactive in dealing with problems - but it is a fine place to stop on your way thru Pennsylvania. Best part is easy-on, easy-off of the highway. Be cautious in their parking lot, though, it is tight and we've had a few close calls with inattentive drivers. read more

I've traveled the country working for CSX and Norfolk-Southern and have stopped at my fair share of Wendy's but non have ever even been close to as bad as this location. In the drive thru the workers always rush you to complete your order I witnessed it with the customer in front of me and also once I pulled up to the window the worker was rushing the customer behind me in the drive thru. There is nothing quite as exhilarating as pulling up to. Wendy's and knowing that your burger is just a few steps away. Your mouth waters, your toes tingle, your fingers feel numb and then you realize that you are probably just having a heart attack in the parking lot. And as the ambulance drives you away, you are suddenly struck with the reality that you are probably in better shape than the people who actually made it inside and are eating their food. The frosty comes with this little domed top with an opening for your spoon, as the frosty is too thick to drink with a straw. My spoon did not fit in the opening. This was very disconcerting. The trash bin was full of plants. Who tosses plants in the trash? Aren't plants the equivalent of dirt, and don't need to be thrown in the trash? read more

As far as food goes it's typical fast food fare (though the service was incredibly slow). My main issue is that, after getting our food and sitting down, we were swarmed with fruit flies. When we got to the window they didn't even know what we ordered because the order "maxed out" on their screen (meaning they took to long to prepare the food). I have never seen anything as horrible as this Wendy's. I didn't even think to check reviews before coming here. Going on 20 minutes and we still don't have our food. The bathroom is disgusting, sticky and smells like urine. That's the ladies room. I asked to see the manager she would not even come out. I asked the lady at the cash register what was wrong and she said they are shortstaffed. The umbrellas outside are broken, the tables are sticky, and the entire restaurant when you walk around is sticky on your feet. The place looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a very long time. Never saw a manager that wouldn't talk to people. As I was writing this, someone came over to me and said he was the manager. He was very sympathetic and explain to me that he is working to make things better here. I feel a little badly leaving this review but it is still the truth. I've seen some bad Wendy's before, but this one takes the cake. When I pulled in the drive thru there were about 7 cars waiting, and when I walked into the restaurant, I was hit with the worst smell of raw eggs and rotten milk I have ever encountered. It's sad when the bathrooms smell better than the restaurant. Decided not to get my meal from this establishment. I would avoid this Wendy's if you can. The staff barely knew what they were doing and the only reason this place is still running is because it's directly off the Interstate Exit. I've decided to stop trying to go to Wendy's. read more

This is the quickest Wendy's drive through in all the land. They make you wonder how the hell they did it so quick. And they're never wrong. Counter service is much slower - so if you need to use the bathroom I suggest using it, and then doing the drive through. It's seriously amazing how fast they fill orders! read more

Stopped for a quick lunch break! Well, be ready to wait to place your order, they can only handle one order at a time. Since the last time I stopped, the dining area has been renovated. Looks OK, now they have a TV and some silly thing that looks like a fire burning. Food came out perfect - got a double, without ketchup, drink & chili instead of fries. They have the new Coke machines with lots of flavors so I could go for the Orange Mellow Yellow diet! Lines are always so long I've waited for my food for 35 minutes. Tonight I asked about the new breakfast baconator and the frosty-cino the employee said she had no idea what I was talking about.
