    Beer & Cheese Dip
    Jamie M.

Mediocre Burger might be a better name. Started out with the beer and cheese dip, not very cheesy and lacked in flavor. The accompanying pretzel bites were dark and did little to support the dip. The Crispy Chicken sandwich lacked the crunch and the Hipster Burger was on the sloppy side and really didn't deliver. We added on fries to our sandwiches that were limp and cold, not what you should expect from fresh cut fries. Service was lackluster and never offered refills. After our entrees were served we didn't have any contact until it was time for our check. There is better out there from restaurants that don't have "Burger" in their name.

Chimichurri steak and fries and a rodeo burger

Amazing service Kade was very kind and helpful navigating fantastic menu options for my food allergies. They have a dedicated gluten free fryer which is an AMAZING find for a restaurant. I got the chimichurri steak with fries. The steak was so tender and flavorful and the fries were crispy. Highly recommend if you have allergies or celiac! Or even if you don't have any the food was delicious.

Po boy was excellent, kinda upset they didn't have any other sides besides fries. The retro atmosphere was excellent, as I felt like I was sitting in an 80's diner.

The first thing you walk in and notice is the very classic music that fits the place. The waiter we had was very kind and served very well. The food was let alone incredible. I had the fish po boy. The aioli was perfectly paired with the catfish. The ramen burger. With the homemade kimchi was a phenomenal idea and was way above what I thought it would be, and the egg on top tied it all perfectly. Then my partner and I both got milkshakes to finish the perfect meal

Way over priced for what you get. Cold food. Very slow service. Should be a different name as it is not retro food.

I didn't go, but my wife asked if I wanted anything off the menu. I cut meat out of my diet so finding alternatives when eating out sometimes can be a challenge. I can say I haven't eaten meat on a daily or weekly basis for going on 3 years now. Have l slipped and eaten meat?Let that craving for meat consume me. Hell yeah I have, I'm not perfect and I can admit that. So as I'm looking at the menu here at Fegley's B.B.W. I came across their "CHUNK VEGAN STEAK" and asked my wife to order that for me. Now I've had some imitation steaks before, but when my wife came in with this Chunk Vegan Steak. I opened up the container and from just looking at the appearance of this Chunk Steak I was totally taken back and honestly thought this piece of meat was real. I then cut me a piece and proceeded to eat. WOW! Talk about a great tasting vegan piece of steak! I actually told my wife "babe I think they made a mistake and put a real piece of steak in my meal. I was so taken back by the taste of this steak. I offered my daughter a piece and when she ate it she burst my bubble and said she could tell it wasn't real. As a meat eater she has keen taste of real meat. I on the other hand would eat this chunk vegan steak in place of a real steak anytime. If you're ever hungry and want to eat out and aren't a meat eater. I would recommend this Vegan Chunk Steak at Fegley's Bethlehem Brew Works to anyone who isn't a red meat eater. Now as I rant about this vegan chunk steak the whole meal the asparagus the potatoes were delicious. The people in the group said their food was delicious also. I called the next day and had to express myself and compliment them on this fantastic fake steak. I'll definitely be going back for some more! This place does food the right way!

However, the overall experience was disappointing due to slow service, lack of communication, and issues with the food. We visited after the Lehigh Graduate Commencement Ceremony and were seated from 1:30-3:00 PM. Our server, Younise, only checked on us roughly every 15 minutes. It then took 45 minutes for pretzels and another 30 minutes for our 2 entrees. While we overheard that the kitchen was behind, this was never communicated to us directly, which made the long wait more frustrating. There was also an issue with my order. I ordered the Caesar salad wrap (Julius' Chicken Dance $14), but I was brought a Caesar salad with chicken ($3 up-charge) instead. The server did not offer to have the kitchen correct it or provide an alternative. After discussing it, I eventually asked if she could bring me a tortilla so I could make the wrap myself. A 15% discount was applied, which I appreciated, but the bill still listed the incorrect meal and reflected the higher-priced salad instead of the wrap I originally ordered. The burger was also underwhelming, as the cheese was not melted. For a meal that came to over $60 for pretzels, a burger, a salad item, and one drink, I expected better communication, food quality, and customer service. The ambiance was great, but the entrees and service unfortunately did not match the setting

Unfortunately, there was a strong cold draft at floor level, leaving our feet uncomfortably cold throughout the meal. The hostess was sweet and greeted us with a smile. The food service was unremarkable. Our waiter was not particularly friendly nor personable. The drinks were a weak start. The red sangria was poor. The bourbon cocktail was an odd mix of bourbon, apple cider, and other elements--an awkward, Frankenstein-style whiskey sour that simply didn't work. Worst of all, both drinks were served in thin plastic cups, which immediately cheapened the entire experience. I ordered the falafel sandwich and specifically requested a toasted bun. It arrived not just room temperature, but cold. I sent it back, and it returned burning hot... the bottom soggy... literally too hot to pick up... with no browning or color change, clearly microwaved. Microwaving is not toasting. At that point, the sandwich was inedible. I removed the bun entirely and ate just the falafel, which was dry and largely tasteless. At this point I knew coming back to this restaurant was a mistake. Food timing was another issue. The dishes took roughly 45 minutes to arrive after the drinks, possibly longer. We were all getting annoyed and what started out well when we first walked in turned negative. I wasn't impressed on my first visit years ago... and this second visit confirmed it. Between the poor drinks, cheap plastic cups, ridiculously long wait (with no explanation nor apology), and careless food execution, there's no reason to return.

We walked in and even though it was busy we were taken to our reserved table immediately. The place is big with nice decor and ambiance, and the tables are spaced out enough that it keeps the area around you quiet enough to be able to hold a conversation comfortably with the people at your table. Our server was with us quickly and took our drink orders. All of the cocktails were delicious and several of us got a second round! We got the bao buns, chicken skewers, and birria poutine to start and they were all extremely delicious. The poutine tasted more like molé though so I personally wouldn't call it birria, and the cheese was a molten cheddar-like kind and not cheese curds. It was delicious though so no one complained! I got the curry and subbed tofu for shrimp. It was a little bland and I honestly wish there would've been a bit more of the curry itself (there was so much rice) and some more salt/seasoning, but it was fine. I'd give it a 7.5/10. My coworkers all enjoyed their own dishes (especially the rigatoni) and they kept raving about them throughout the whole meal. Our server was attentive and kept the table clean and our water bottles topped up. I definitely recommend checking it out! We're keeping it i. our list for next time we're in town :)

The food: I got the buffalo chicken wrap with the special peach chutney and their world famous fries (for takeout) The wrap was good with a decent amount of chicken. The fries were definitely underwhelming. 3 stars Now let's talk about the service. I arrived on a Thursday afternoon around 4 PM, not too busy and I sat at the bar. I was attended to shortly after sitting down, asked for the drink menu and a glass of water, both which I got quickly. I then sat there for another 13 minutes, waiting for her to come back for my drink order. I counted 10 instances where other servers walked past me. When she finally came back, she apologized stating she had been stuck at the serving bar(?). (And I did see that she stopped and chatted with a colleague before coming my way). I found it odd that other servers were able to attend to my check, but not my drink? Now let's talk about the takeout. The bag was dropped off and put it over to the side to finish my drink before leaving. Shortly afterwards, another server came over and grabbed my bag and said my order was mixed up with another lady (who opened the bag and saw she had my food). The server promised me that she didn't touch it and switched out our bags. Deciding to live on the edge, I left. When I got back to the hotel, I had my food, but no utensils nor ketchup for the fries. 0 Stars I see this place has 3.5 stars, but I cannot in good conscience give anything more than a 2. I am really disappointed as it's across the parking lot from where I am staying and I would've gone back there at least two more times. Hopefully others will have better luck
