They're hiring, 8.50 an hour! Which means that they are understaffed and need workers right now. While it felt like there was only 2 people working the dinner rush, they did a good job. Service was very friendly (almost annoyingly friendly), which is rare at a fast food chain. Food was also the best Wendy's I've ever had. Our sandwiches looked like they do in the pictures. I seriously wish my phone wasn't dead when I was here so I could take pics. Biggest and only complaint is that the dining area was pretty messy, and I understand why. Road weary and in need of a fast meal; meal was fast, but I think that's due to the fact that the food had been prepared for some time. Husband's fries were just above room temp, although he said the spicy chicken sandwich was fine. My burger was room temperature and my baked potato was a potato w a glop of cheese--pretty unappetizing. Staff working drive-thru needs to work on customer service. my husband and I went through the drive-through and order two biggie bags. We do this occasionally with no problems. Tonight the young lady took our money and asked us to please pull forward. It was going to be a minute. After 10 minutes of waiting and five cars behind us going around us, my husband decided to go in and find where our order was. Corrine ,who said she was the GM said our order was just going in. But when she was questioned why five other cars got their orders and we were still waiting she became obnoxious. we asked for our money back. we returned the drinks and she immediately tossed them in the trash. and returned $10 (our order was 10.60). she acted very unprofessional he and very rude. STAY FAR AWAY! This place was repulsive and poses a serious health risk to customers. The coke freestyle machine looked like it hadn't been cleaned since it was installed. There was mold caked in the ice lever and dispenser and the nozzle and backsplash weren't much better. We went in right at open so I know it wasn't from a busy day or anything like that. The tables and counters were all filthy; the ketchup nozzle wasn't wiped down; and the floors were sticky, even the carpet. I'm consciously debating calling the health department and I'm definitely not the type to complain like this. Albeit, the food was okay but I might go to the doctor tomorrow just in case On the other hand, the service was definitely friendly and I appreciate that given the condition of the restaurant! read more

Hungry and road ugly I did a late night drive through and ordered the grilled chicken with bbq sauce and fries. The fries were cold and just didn't have a taste the warranted the calories. I was placing an order for my co-workers which was about 4 meals worth of food. Towards the end I had forgotten to order a small frosty that I had a coupon for and asked if it could be added on. I had asked for it after the price was given to me and apologized for the inconvenience that may accompany that. She then asked if I wanted chocolate or vanilla but due to the quality of the intercom I didn't hear her and assumed she told me to pull up to the first window. At the first window a man named Shawn greeted me by saying "you aren't even paying attention are you?" He then asked if I wanted chocolate or vanilla for the frosty. I said chocolate and then apologized letting him know I misheard what the intercom worker had said. He then went on to say "If you had any common sense you would know that you need to tell us what you want for us to make it for you." in a very demeaning way. I went on to explain that it was an honest mistake and I just didn't understand what was being said but throughout our whole conversation he was acting passive aggressively and was implying that I had no common sense several times. When I was given my card back I was offended and hurt by his statements, I clearly gave off that impression for I was quiet and stared at him after his remarks which he followed up by saying "Have a nice day" and closing his window. After I got back to the office we were missing a coke, a frosty, a small order of fries, and one of the coworkers couldn't eat his sandwich because it was too cold. This was disappointing for I was responsible for making sure everyone's food was the way they ordered it. I explained to my co-workers the service I got from Shawn and one of our advisers was so upset that he decided to call and ask for management. We spoke with the manager who then transferred the phone over to Shawn. This person again was being very passive aggressive and was dismissive towards the issue. Constantly said "We can give you a free meal that's all we can do for you." Our branch orders from this Wendy's at least once a week. I no longer feel comfortable going there due to that confrontation even though we tried to make amends. I would like to know if any corrective action is ever taken on employees who are rude at this branch or if you guys don't care. To be fair everyone else I've interacted with has been kind and respectable Shawn may have just been a bad apple. read more

We just walked out of the Wendy's in Brighton, Mi because they were unwilling to help us. We stopped there after my son's basketball game for a double stack which he has safely eaten for many years but not in the last several months. We checked the ingredients as we always do and found that the ingredient list indicated that all of their burgers contain egg. I went to the attendant at the register to ask what changed and she looked at me with a blank stair. A man working the line went on to tell me they are not allowed to tell us anything except what is on the Poster in the lobby. So, I asked again what part of the burger has eggs and he went on to tell me that they can't gaurantee anything just like any fast food restaurant. To which I replied that he was incorrect and that we have been doing this for a long 13 years. I am completely frustrated with Wendy's and their employees complete lack of empathy. Not only are the staff here not professional they are not friendly. I've been in town this week and had the experience twice. The only professional courteous staff member was a young man that was in line getting food on his break. When he seen me come in with my order he asked me if I wanted to go ahead of him. I didn't realize he worked there until the manager took his order. I thanked him and told him no as he was in line ahead of me but neither the male manager running the drive thru who seen me several times holding my order nor the manager working the counter asked me if there was a problem The drive thru employee charged me one amount and gave me a receipt of my food but no beverage. So the receipt I was given was not what I was charged. There are so many other options nearby I'd avoid the frustration. It's not quick. The service is slow. And they are still hiring so apparently they can't retain their staff or have a reputation of not being a great place to work at any rate they may want to take the opportunity to retrain their staff starting with the managers read more
