I tried knocking off the salt on the fries and adding ketchup on the sandwich but couldn't overcome all the salt. We shared a turtle concrete. It was just okay. It got soupy very quick. I think because it's custard...maybe. overall, we both agreed on a 2 for this place given the setbacks but we'd come back for something quick if we're in the mood.

After that it took about 10-15 min to complete. I had placed the order on my phone just as I'd arrived at the location to see how long it takes. Upon a quick search, it looks like they send your mobile order to the kitchen 15 minutes before the pickup time shown to you in the app/website, which is to give you time to get there and to ensure the order is freshly made. Makes sense! Though I wish it was made clear online since most fast food places send the order right away or when you arrive. Note to future self: place order before leaving the house! But alas it was well worth the wait nonetheless! But yeah I do indeed highly recommend!

I noticed that the WENDY'S employee wasn't wearing gloves when he retrieved the cookie from the cookie display (immediately upon operating the cash register to ring up my order). He placed it into a cookie bag. After he retrieved and bagged my cookie, rather than hand it to me so I could leave, he immediately turned and walked away and disappeared out of sight into another room. As he was walking away with my cookie that I had already paid for, I firmly stated "Please give me my cookie, sir!". He ignored me and continued to walk away and disappeared. This WENDY'S employee's questionable actions made me feel very uneasy! Unsure as to why a WENDY'S restaurant employee would feel the need to disappear out of sight with a customer's food (after it had already been paid for), I felt that it would be best to exit the restaurant without my order. I notified WENDY'S corporate office via email. I did receive a short email response from a WENDY'S Area Director named Chimere Lynn telling me that it would be looked into. She also requested my credit card number so that she could issue a refund. I refused to provide her with my credit card information.
