The overall experience was great. Amazing friendly staff, great food, decent pricing, lots of seating, nice decor, plenty of kiosks for ordering, plenty of close parking, clean restroom, clean everything everywhere. The Korean burger and sandwich were nice new flavors, both very flavorful and unique! I hope they're not too strong or different for some folks though and really hope they're here to stay. I've had some amazing American style burgers and sandwiches in Korea, better than most chains in the US, but this is the first time I've seen Korean burgers here haha. I will say they aren't my most favoritest shake shack burgers, but are pretty freaking close like if they could somehow mash them up with a good ol shroom burger, that would be the absolute ultimate mind bending burger I'd have ever had in my life xD My only slightest of concerns would be if you're ordering to go, please order 20-30 min prior to arrival via the Shake Shack website or app. The friendly staff were kind enough to inform me that the order had only been received on their screen about 15 after my arrival since they saw me waiting for a while. After that it took about 10-15 min to complete. I had placed the order on my phone just as I'd arrived at the location to see how long it takes. Upon a quick search, it looks like they send your mobile order to the kitchen 15 minutes before the pickup time shown to you in the app/website, which is to give you time to get there and to ensure the order is freshly made. Makes sense! Though I wish it was made clear online since most fast food places send the order right away or when you arrive. Note to future self: place order before leaving the house! We first had their food at a rest stop on the NJ turnpike. Immediately hooked! We've ordered several times from this nearby location. Their cheese burgers are the best Ive had. Shake Shack makes good burgers. Not a fan of the fries unless it has toppings, like the limited time truffle fries a while back, or cheese. This time we tried the limited time Korean menu items, like the K Shack Burger and the K Fried Chicken Sandwich. The K Shack Burger tastes very similar to their usual burger, just with some crispy onions and a sauce that's a bit on the salty side but it didn't remind me of anything Korean. I was expecting maybe bulgogi flavors but it kind of just tasted like a salty gravy. The K Fried Chicken Sandwich also was okay, with the chicken being on the drier side. But flavor-wise, their usual menu items like the Shack Burger and the Shroom Burger are very good. Their burgers are where it's at. However, this place almost always has a 30 minute wait from the moment you place an order, even if the dining room is looking kind of empty. My guess is a lot of online orders? I went here once just recently and was happy to try it out. The food while fast food style was pretty tasty. It is a smallish locale off Springfield Road and has room for both making a quick order or to stop and relax at a few dining areas next to the kitchen. I got the Shack Stack Burger a burger that basically combines the Shroom burger and regular burger together. It was tasty with a surprise of a cheese sauce also! And I topped it off with a Creamsicle Float. Both were not bad! If your hankering for some beef (or a veggie option) this place has a lot of your needs in store. They seemed to be handling orders fairly well although they said they'd text me when it was ready and I am still waiting. I happened to see them put it on the counter so that's how I knew. I've had Shake Shack before. I've liked them at times. Sometimes I haven't. Tonight, they were decent. The beef has good flavor. Nothing wrong with it. But honestly the burgers taste better at Zac's. We came here for lunch on a rainy Saturday. We ordered our food using the ipads at the front of the store. Ordering was easy. We took a number and sat down. After a short wait our food was brought out. The burgers were very good. I got a single which is a pretty skinny burger, but frankly it was enough for me. The only downside is that the burgers are very greasy which is not very appealing to me. We ordered some cheese fries to share. It wasn't a huge amount but since there were cheese on them and we were sharing with two little ones, it was enough. If you want a lot of fries, order one for each person. This Shake Shack is definitely underrated and easy to miss as it's tucked away with many other restaurants in the area. It's in rhetorical same parking Lot as the Union Bank & Giant. It has a great outdoor dining area plus plenty of dining space inside. Great for families and kids. I would definitely recommend getting the seasonal burgers which change up quite frequently and their Shack Stack, Mushroom w/ a beef Pattie on a potato roll is my go to. (Heads up their burgers come from a very sought out meat purveyor in NYC) Fries are alright could be better either way cheese on the side. Seasonal lemonades & Shakes are the go to, my favorite drink is the Strawberry Peach Tea, Shake has to be the Peaches & Cream. I saw this wasn't top rated but... Took a risk because I really wanted to have the gamut on Fourth of July for hamburger, hotdogs shakes and vegetarian burgers. So glad we stopped! The staff year was outstanding! Taking care of people who ordered at the kiosks or who wanted to order at the register, no problem! Busting their butts with a steady crowd of people coming in but making sure to pay attention to everybody standing at the counter. Even making sure our to go order stayed fresh and hot and got to us fast by meeting us halfway. Very happy to have found this location definitely come back. Maybe they were short staffed but the one trash can in the seating area was over flowing and some of the tables had trays left on it. Came in here for lunch. I have been here in the past but not to this particular location. This is the fast casual burger chain and on the more expensive side. We ordered on the iPad type things and grabbed a table. Our order was ready shortly and was accurate. We got burgers and shared an order of cheese fries. The good thing is the burgers are a decent size, some places I feel like I need to get a double but not here. I like the "shack sauce" they put on them but it's pretty similar to any of the similar burger places that have special sauces. Their order of fries are tiny! The fries are definitely not a good portion. But I love the cheese that they put on their cheese fries, so I usually end up getting them. I know from past experience their milkshakes are nothing special. The location was clean. This place is expensive for what you get but comparable to other similar chains (five guys etc). I get there at 9:15, they watch us walk to the door and when we walk in the first thing they say to us is "we're closed". I held off trying this new location as I'd read a number of critical reviews early on. I'm pleased to say my experience was great. The staff was friendly and attentive. Food was prepared quickly and was presented neatly. Tables and counters were quite clean. My only critiques are likely brand-related and not a concern with this store. The industrial designed interior - HVAC, tile, and metal - makes for a rather loud background. My opinion and advice would be to let the entire staff go and start over with people who want to work and care. I waited 50 minutes for two burgers with fries. Food orders were ready but no one was in a hurry to give the customers their food. Customers began to cancel their orders after waiting over 90 minutes. I could see the frustration on what appeared to be the managers face. I was told by the cashier that they ran out of ice cream but minutes later my daughter and I saw milk shakes and ice-cream prepared for the on-line orders.
