Unreal. Lets hear the 'Inflation thanks to covid' excuse again. Just to be clear: the people working there were actually REALLY fantastic. Absolutely nothing bad about this location at all. Usually I go to fast food places like this and its cringe- worthy at best. This location was so very well run, very clean, very well organized- perfect management. I commend everyone who was working there for a seamless spotless experience. Thats why it gets 2 stars. What I am so mad about is the portions. I dont expect giant 5 pound burgers for .99 cents. Im not one of those people who usually complain about portions, even at high prices. But they are selling MINI SLIDERS FOR FULL SIZED PRICE!!! Your staff is absolutely horrible..! The middle-aged woman (white female) with all of the metal ball piercings around her mouth did not provide what I ordered. I went inside and asked for fresh made fries. When I tasted one and handed them back to her she promptly put them back into the fry oil and gave them back to me. The Problem.... The fries are supposed to be thrown away as I had reached into the bag and grabbed one and not to be returned to what is now contaminated frying oil and giving them back to me.... I asked for them to be newly made and the one in the bin which had been there under the light for who knows how long. Not to mention the fries were not crisp but soggy. The Solution... hire individuals that actually give a damn about the work they do and their appearance. As in both men required hair nets... and netting for facial hair. My feeling is that following the rules of OSHA and cleanliness is difficult when "ALL" of your attention is fixated on your iPhone. Every time I went to Wendy's to get a burger, as the only option at the moment, I'd receive the stem end of the tomato every time! That's the part you cut off and throw away. Wasnt much different than any other Wendy I went to but when I pulled up to the window I was told they put my order in wrong and was asked to pay for the person behind me because they thought her order was mine and was told it's the same 'thing' well it's not and you should never ask a customer to pay for the customer behind as if you know how much money they are carrying. Came here for a quick snack. Ordered on the app, which was easy to use. Picked it up at the location. Greasy floors. Got the spicy chicken sandwich. It never looks as loaded as the pictures. Kinda expect it at this point. Tastes like what'd you would expect from fast food restaurant. I liked the "side of s'awesome" sauce, if yall need a sauce recommendation. I worked at Wendy's when I was in high school and I know it's not that hard of a job! especially when there's nobody in the restaurant and one car in the drive-through! 90% of my meal is incorrect or overcooked or the french fries are not even cooked at all. Used to be a great location. They're still open late and staff are fairly polite... but the bigger issue is the quality control. Unless you like cold fries and bad drinks, I'd recommend going somewhere else. The burgers are at par with other locations but Wendy's quality seems to be slipping anyways. The fun, fast eats and treats are nice but the customer service is everything you expect from fast food joints hiring kids with an attitude. I got the frostie keychain so we could head over after school, I usually head a drink or some fries as well but they always seem disappointed that I'm using the coupon. Today, I headed to Wendy's just to grab some drinks while we were on the road. While placing an order for my two small kids and myself, I clearly frustrated one of the young workers- he audibly said "oh my god". (should get no stars) I went to order with my brother who has a severe peanut allergy. The second I step to the counter the guy running the register stares blankly with his eyes glazed over and no emotion in his face (blatantly high). He doesn't ask what we want to order or give any sort of greeting. Obviously with someone in the party with a severe allergy we ask about the safety of the food first. Again, he stared blankly no response until I asked a second time and he shrugged and goes "I don't know I just started working here." I had to ask several times to talk to someone that would know and 2 other employees came up same glazed over eyes (high) and had no clue either. I was told to check the app for allergy listings. I told them I didn't have the app. Also, what if I didn't own a phone not everyone has that privilege. I have worked in the food industry for 8+ years and never have I seen a food joint to incompetent. Even if the app had told me that one item of food for my brother was safe, I have ZERO confidence that they would maintain proper food allergy protocols for cross contamination throughout the kitchen. This had me so mad and sad for my brother because Wendy's is his favorite and now we can't trust the closest one to us. The energy in the Burlington Wendy's was miserable and pulls you in with it. Just had a terrible experience at this location. After ordering and paying in the drive thru, the cashier neglected to give back my debt card. They further neglected to give back the card when I sent my daughter to retrieve the BBQ which they also neglected to provide. After discovering the card was missing a call was placed to the location. They offered no apology or stated I needed a ID to retrieve the card. Upon arrival I was met with a total lack of tact, professional, and empathy from the self described Assistant Manager Zuleyka. Zuleyka was verbally abrasive and utterly disrespectful. Her tenor was that of pouty child and the demeanor/attitude of an bratty adolescent. The entire altercation was just short of a finder waving, head bobbing, teeth kissing high school disagreement. She repeated herself constantly and spoke over me as if saying the same thing over and over added validity to her claims the card was a basically abandoned and every attempt was made to return it. I couldn't disagree more. Zuleyka blamed me for forgetting the card! She walked this statement back later by saying we were both at fault. I still disagree. I asked to be comped for my meal and she all but exploded saying "For What?!" I don't expect much from fast food joints but basic manners and decorum are a MUST when dealing with the customer. She ended up refunding my meal and apologizing but it was a day late and buck short. I will be taking this further up the chain but buyer beware. read more

I'm not one to be picky. I give establishments 3 chances to see if they can fulfill my demands, so that I can continue supporting them. My recent visit to this Wendy's, in particular, really made me mad. My first bad experience consisted of a Baconator burger that was too crispy. It barely had any flavor or juicy sensation. The fries were also very crispy and not soft enough. The fruit punch beverage tasted like water too. The employee that I brought this up to said there was nothing he could do about it. 5 minutes later, another employee came by the beverage dispensers and changed out the beverages that tasted bad. Wait what? You couldn't do anything, you said?? My second bad experience consisted of an employee that asked if I wanted a receipt for frosties that I ordered. I denied. And just as she went to get the frosties I ordered, I politely told her I changed my mind that I did want a receipt after all. She begrudgingly printed out a copy of my order and looked at me with an impatient rage. There was no one else in the restaurant! Not like she had anyone else to take care of. And finally: the thing that really turned me away was a piece of hair, I discovered as I ate half way through my spicy chicken sandwich. Disgusting! And that's not all. What possibly looked to be the same employee who served me the second time, served me my sandwich via drive-thru, with negativity in her face being visibly open like she hates her job. Poor management, poor service, and hair in your food is what you'll get out of thIs location. Came here for a quick bite to eat after a workout from one of the fitness studios in 3rd Ave. it's a typical Wendy's with pretty much all the same things on the menu. Yes I'm actually reviewing a Wendys. Work with me on this one and you'll understand why. So I was taking a 10 hour a day training course around the corner from here and totally forgot my wallet one day. This totally sucked and I thought I wasn't going to be having a lunch that day until I remembered the 99 cent menu at Wendys! So I scrounged all the spare change I could find in my car and drove over to the Wendys. I actually had a decent meal with nothing more than spare change. Needless to say this kicked ass! I had an order of fries and the spicy chicken nuggets. I didn't have to buy a drink as took one of the free ones from the training center with me. They were both pretty good for fast food and best of all fit in my extremely limited lunch budget. So when you forget your wallet and are hungry Wendys is the place to go! read more
