This is an okay Wendy's. The food is like any other decent food chain of Dave Thomas' (RIP). A little weak on the fry servings, though! Didn't even fill our containers to the top! We there to get some snacks for the road back home to Hobbs after a tour at "Christmas on the Pecos." The drive-thru line was super long on 12/16/2023. They accepted my mobile order and got it to us quickly by the time we got up to the window. The guy at the register was nice, but neglected to give us any napkins at all. Fast food is fast food but this review is for Diane who has great customer service. She was friendly & engaging & on some weird level, I think it made the food more enjoyable too. This Wendy's forgot my baconater forgot my sisters nuggets and didn't get out chilli would not recommend here

Frosty is good and nuggets are mediocre but the burger makes up for it don't get the new creamcicle

Staff and manager extremely rude and had a line waiting in the lobby but the staff just stared at the customers and said nothing. Manager was rude to customer for absolutely no reason. Whole experience was just bad. Whoever the lady manager was at 12:30 needs an evaluation. read more

I didn't get what I ordered and they put a sticker over the hole on the cup lid and the sticker got wet and stuck on my lid hole.

This is a super busy Wendy's and the employees did a great job managing all of the orders as best they can -- the line in the drive through and inside we long. And, they were managing digital orders too. Impressive! My food tastes great too! read more

It's a average stop a grab I bite to eat type of place not amazing but not horrible service is usually good.

I loved eating Wendy's, till I got a stomach bug.. I shrugged it off thinking nothing of it.. or Wendy's. Till now 4 days ago I ate a burger, fries and a coffee. I got a food borne illness. Which almost left me hospitalized, lost 11lbs in 4 days, from 103lbs to 92LBS! not able to keep water or any type of food down THANKS TO YOUR SHITTY EMPLOYEES WHO DONT KNOW HOW TO CLEAN THEIR HANDS OR SPACE PROPERLY. Crazy how this place has not been shut down or Inspected. Absolutely bullshit. read more

Just placed my order and got me the number 6. Chicken is blah, like card board boxes. It's so gross. Didn't eat it, I'm not coming back to complain already out on the road. Sooooo slow. Really took a dive after the remodel. Staff are never in any sort of hurry either. Now I understand that a service workforce is difficult to staff during the oil boom but today was too horrible to go unsaid. The drive-through line extended out to the next street today so I came inside. The line inside extended to the back of the dining room and it took me about 15 min to get to the cashier. Also due to many people bailing out of line. When it was my turn to order, I was told he'd be right back but cashier continued to help the kitchen out. I waited there for 15 minutes before I also left because I had an appointment to get to. After the event, we returned to give it another try because my kids were so hungry. Drive through line was long but not as long as it was 3 hrs prior. Stayed another 15 min and cars did not move. Went somewhere else and finally learned my lesson. read more

SLOW!!! And it is ALWAYS PACKED.... you'd think that was a good thing, except you find out quickly that it is because they're so slow. Try to come before lunch rush, they're slow. After lunch rush? Slow. Dinner? Slow. 9:30 at night? SLOW. I don't understand. Its barely even worth it by the time you get stuck in the drive through line and wait 30 minutes. Same inside. Just ate here after a long day, the staff was awesome especially Robert? I think that was his name. Fantastic customer service. He deserves a raise. Worst Wendy's in the U.S. by far. Horrible service, cold food, fries like soggy rubber.

We went into Wendy's in Carlsbad, NM to eat around 9pm. I wanted to go through the drive through but thank goodness my husband insisted we eat inside instead! When we walked in, a rancid stench hit me. I didn't want to be rude and say anything so I kept my mouth shut but then my 17 yr old NOT picky son (he'll eat just about anything and is not in any way squeamish) looked at me and crinkled his nose. Without thinking, we got in line to eat and I was astonished at how filthy the kitchen was. You can see an orange- tan, thick residue on the back of the fryer (we eat at Wendy's at least 4x a month where we live and the fryer is visible and is completely clean. You can't say it's the heat because it's stainless steel and didn't discolor the backsplash but is caked on residue from old oil. (Watch a few Gordon Ramsey episodes and you'll see similar residue from dirty restaurants.) There was a film of oil and THICK dust on the back of the monitors that faced the customers. I realize the monitors have nothing to do with the cookware but if the dust was VERY visible to the ordering crowd (back of the monitor was about 1/2 visible to customers) and the backsplash was covered in filth from old oil (this happens from not being cleaned and not replacing the oil...cooking with old, rancid oil). When we saw the filth and crud - even just seeing what we did from our standpoint, we decided to leave. Tip: a family member of mine was a cop and said they often had to go into the back areas of restaurants...working with other cops and the health food department, he found out and witnessed over the years - and was told by those who work in the health department, said if you can see filth on the walls or floors in the kitchen OR if the restaurant bathroom is dirty, then the kitchen is dirty. Not just a tad under pristine, but filthy dirty and that you should walk out. I can't imagine that a regional chain as large as Wendy's would let one of their restaurants go like this. They had teenagers working and the girl at the drive thru kept asking me if I was ready to order. She thought she was being funny I heard her laughing. They left part of out order out. We had to pull around and go in to get it then they took our straws out of our bags. The burger sucked!! The spicy chicken sandwich was good. They have recently undergone a full remodel. The place looks much nicer and cleaner than before. The food is comparable with any other Wendy's I've visited. The staff during my visits have been friendly and efficient. The only reason I've not given a full five stars is all said it is still fast food. Though I do wish the chain would bring the Classic Bacon Cheeseburger back. read more

Their drive through is decent when the school year is close to being over. That is when most of the high school kids who work there have gotten proficient with their jobs. Most of the time they are slow and disgusting. They will also give you a meager amount of fries. I haven't figured that one out completely but I can only imagine that they think I would prefer green chilies over fries. I don't know really. When I order fries I just want my fry container to be full or at least close to it. read more

The most atrocious customer service experience I've ever had...stopped here after a 4 hour drive and wasn't acknowledged for 15 minutes after walking up to the counter. All of the employees were very young and none had a maturity level higher than 10 years old. When I finally ordered, the girl was not polite. The lobby was completely trashed and there was no effort to clean it up. After waiting 30 minutes for my order(one meal) I had to go up to the counter to ask them about it and wait 10 more minutes. read more
