This is practically a little shack on the side of a busy road. The great thing is that it is super affordable. There was a stream of cars coming up to the two windows on either side for to-go orders. We ended up ordering from the lesser used front walk up window. Had burgers and iced snow things. All very good. I love this place but today I went for 3 small snow cones and was charged $8.88. I handed her 2 $5 bills when she returns with my change I say wow how much are they she says $2.37 each I say ok then you over charged me. Her response yeah I know I charged you for 4 let me go get you $1. I tell her that's still not right she says ok let me go get you 50 cents more! Beware I don't think it was a mistake I think she was planning on pocketing the overage as she knew she overcharged me. I've never had a problem there until today! read more

Loved our snowcones!!! Very friendly people!! These aren't the thin shaved ice like some stands, still have some crunch, but they have syrup all the way through, no skimping!! Always excellent service and friendly no matter how busy they are. With the exception of 1 other restaurant that specializes in Mexican food, THIS (south) Sno-to-Go's enchiladas and tacos puts all other Mexican food restaurants to shame. The ONLY complaint I have is their location. With all the additional freakin' oil-filed traffic, you're taking your life into your own hands trying to exit back on to S. Canal in either direction.
