We got the wise guy - deep fried mozzarella, crispy prosciutto, balsamic, pesto, etc. It was a bit dry, as it did not have enough pesto. It had a huge deep fried mozzarella on top of the patty, bigger than the patty, so def needs more sauce to balance all the dry ingredients. It basically tasted like an Italian sandwich, we think they should have just put marinara sauce in lieu of the pesto and call it a pizza burger We upgraded to Wisconsin cheese curds which were very tasty and the same portion size as the fried which was a lot- it was nice. But it was very redundant with the burger since the burger had a huge deep fried mozzarella on it. I think these cheese curds were also mozzarella The Love stinks was good. It was very messy with lots of cream cheese. My partner said it was good but too wet. Fries were good. I would probably order this again . We couldn't finish all the curds and fries, burgers were very filling But there's always room for dessert. We got a S'mores milkshake . For $9, it was smaller than I expected, more of a medium size not a large. But honestly I wouldn't get it again. It was not very tasty and it was very difficult to sip thru the large straw. Flavor was not there.

I have to make my own mussels and spaghetti dish as they don't make one. The vodka sauce spaghetti is meh. I put the spaghetti noodles into the mussel dish. Parmesan was on all the dishes and I hate Parmesan. He asked for a to go container when his lasagna came as he always has to take half home. Was told by server that she'd bring it when he needed it. Uh, he needed it then as he wanted to put half in it. Sigh. I know they're trying but this is why we only come here once in a while when we've forgotten how it is. Slow and average food. We've never had a bad meal. Unfortunately, that's hard to say about other comparable places in the area we have tried (but to each their own). Best onion rings we've tried anywhere (chicken tenders, fish tacos, burgers, sandwiches, salads, appetizers, the Hideaway Signature Pasta--the list goes on), but honestly, everything on the menu we've ordered has been delicious, and every time we go, it takes us a while to decide since everything is so good! Hideaway has become something of a standard we compare to other similar establishments, and we look forward to dining here in the years to come!
