I had a great experience at this Wendy's on 3/31/25. The staff was really friendly, and I'm assuming the person who took my order was the manager (Davion) because they went out of their way to make sure I was good throughout my visit. I really appreciated that extra level of service! I got the Saucy Nuggets in Spicy Garlic Parmesan and Honey BBQ, and they were absolutely delicious! It feels funny to review a Wendy's because you would think - a Wendy's is a Wendy's but that's simply not true. I ran through the drive through around 2:00 on a Thursday and there was no wait. Unfortunately, my tried and true 4 for $4 with a JBC (junior bacon cheeseburger) doesn't exist anymore, so I wound up getting the #1 single. The fries were crispy and the burger was delicious! I think Wendy's has a pretty solid fast food burger. This location is pretty fast, and my order was correct which is a win in my book. The staff were friendly enough. I can't even speak to the food because we never got any.....after standing at the register for 10 minutes, no staff greeted us or took our order. One employee looked right at us then clocked out and sat down to eat themselves. No other customers were sitting down eating. No one was in the drive-thru and only one other person was waiting on an order inside (he was already done ordering when we walked in). The worst experience I have in recent memory when it comes to food related, found a short hair in my drink's lid. do you know how much hair must be in an area for it to get caught in the lid. I usually just got to whatever place is most convenient on the way home but from now on this will forever be a do not. I hope this is one of the stores that are closing. read more

I tried the breakfast (2) sausage & egg on an English muffin. The sandwich was warm not hot and had obviously been on hold for awhile. The bread was cardboard texture and hard to get down. The coffee was between warm & cool. Not a good experience but I'm going to try it again to see if staff was merely having a bad day volume wise. read more

I haven't been to Wendy's in years so I ended up stopping here because someone I was with wanted to get the Frosty. I thought I would try the strawberry frosty as well it was actually pretty good. This location is in the heart of Stonecrest there's plenty of parking. My review is only pertaining to the drive-through experience. My order was correct and the staff were friendly. The service was fast. The general cheeseburger was good it didn't have that char to it. The taste in textures of my food were good. Hope you enjoy! read more

The place was clean and fast. Had a lovely person at the counter take our order and the freestyle machine was great and had all the ingredients and some cool exclusives for just Wendy's. The service was fast with about 6 couples in the in side around noon. I was surprised at the rating so I felt I should give them a five star. I mean it is Fast Food! I ordered 3 different flavor saucy chicken nuggets through the app and when I received them -- there was almost NO sauce on the nuggets. I went back through the drive-thru where I was instructed to come inside for them to recook. I stated I could not come into the restaurant so they advised me to pull through the second window. The manager aggressively advised "the chicken nuggets come that way and it was a $1 charge for extra sauce" without even looking at my order. I stated I wanted a full refund then. And he said "you have to go through the app". I placed my car in park in the drive thru and then moments later he came back with the extra sauce and yelled "FOR THE FUTURE, EXTRA SAUCE IS $1!" It's 11:30pm on the night of 4/19/23 and I'm just trying to basically get some quick grub for my wife and kid after landing from a 6 hour flight since it's one of the only restaurant still open late night. I get to the drive thru window and get this basic greeting from the employee. So I proceed to place my order. I want chicken nuggets. No problem he says. What drink would you like? I'd like to have one of your pineapple mango lemonade. Oh I am completely out of those. We have no more lemonade. Ok fine, grab me a Coke Zero. Next, I proceed to order the next item. I'd like a classic chicken sandwich. We don't have those anymore, he states. I stare at the menu puzzled... you don't have chicken sandwich anymore? It's right there on the menu. He tells me they're only now the breaded kind that you pick up and eat... I'm looking puzzled bc there is no such thing on the menu. Ok fine, get me a cheese burger and a baconator. Great it'll be 22 something at the window, he says. I get to the window and this middle age man with balding hairline and on the flamboyant side gets to the window. It's be 22 something something. Do you guys take Apple Pay? He studders and says we do not! But I can try to see if it works.... Then reaches his hand out to grab my phone. ( I ask myself where's the part where you stretch your arm and get the reader closer to me?) So I just redact my question and tell him I'll get him my card. He starts to look annoyed like I'm actually making him spend so much energy to do his job. So I hand him my card and start to look around... and what do I see? The machines in the back mixing those lemonades that they were supposedly out of... This has been the worse service I've have ever had anywhere in my entire life. I'm not even trying to make this up, this guy was literally acting like I was bothering him at work. I get it's late at night but your shift ain't even over for another 2 hr buddy. This guy was basically now giving me the cold shoulder as he hands me my card, he just looks the other way the entire time, like you're not even worth me looking at you. So I grab my stuff and get out of there asap. Seriously, this kind of customer service is what drives customers away. I've always thought of Wendy's as a decent fast food place but this has definitely put a very sour note in my mouth. If there was an option to give zero stars, that would be my true rating. The team here completely ignores customers, no matter when you come. Not a single employee addressed me at the drive-through. After being told to pull up to the next window, I greeted them and tried to discuss my order, only to have the employee rudely slam the window in my face! How is that acceptable customer service?! I moved to the next window, where they practically threw the food and drinks at me as if I had personally inconvenienced them. I could understand such treatment if I had been rude, but I always try to be polite. The staff here doesn't even give customers a chance to be nice; they are rude to everyone, and it all starts with management. This store needs an immediate review and the entire staff should be fired for such behavior. An absolutely appalling example of customer service, and the food was stale too. Sat in drive thru line for at least 15 minutes to get to where I could try to order our food and was asked to put on hold. We sat there another 5 minutes at least and finally spoke into the speaker to get their attention. The kid said we have a really long line and still didn't take our order. We gave up and drove around the drive thru and found no line at all and the kid just standing in the window doing nothing. Will never go to this location again. If I could rate a zero I would. We went to Chick-Fil-A and got through their long line in no time at all. This is why Chick-Fil-A is the best fast food. read more

Although the guy who is sometimes taking orders in the drive-through line is actually hilarious, this Wendy's takes FOREVER. It seems like a convenient drive through option on the way home from work or late at night when it's literally the only place open in the area but we rarely go here because of how long the drive-through takes. If the line is over a few cars long we do not even try. If there's no cars you're still waiting about 15 minutes for them to take your order. Food quality is good and as expected. Went here to get a few Biggie bags. It was quite late at night (8pm) and the drive thru wasn't busy. It was fast and we received our food promptly. Upon getting home, we discovered that we were short a nugget. This was upsetting because we really wanted that extra protein. After further considering the bag, we also realized that we received no sauce, which we were charged for. The sauce was expensive because we're on a budget. The manager was smoking at the door when I arrived (wasn't wearing anything Wendy's related so I didn't know he worked there). After ordering and waiting for the food, in he comes to man the fries and nuggets. He stopped off around the corner for 2 sec. to possibly wash his hands but I have a hard time believing the water was even on or hot. Should have left right then. Anyway, on the way out probably 5 minutes later Mr. Manager was outside by the door smoking again and looking at his phone. Why do I even bother? Oh how I wish these guys would take notes from Chick-fil-A when it comes to hiring standards, professionalism and customer service. I'm so over the passive aggressive, low key snarky tone of voice that these employees use and then when you call them on it they try to back track and go to the fake sweet tone of voice and throw in a few endearments! They give the hurry up and give me your order voice, the you're bugging me at my job voice. The you're annoying me voice seems to be very popular no matter what time of day or length of the line. I asked the employee behind the "voice box" if they had the 4 for 4 because I didn't see it on the drive thru board. This is likely a way to detract people from getting it. She said yes and a bunch of stuff popped on the screen and I was like wait, what are my choices? She then proceeds, at lightning speed and in her fake sweet, annoyed voice, begins to rattle off my choices. What?!! I said never mind and just ordered my daughters happy meal and an extra frosty. I didn't want to hold up the line and I didn't want to deal with her anymore. I'm giving two stars because my daughter commented that the food was hot and she enjoyed it. I then, for myself, proceeded down the road to McDonalds and thank goodness they weren't impatient and snarky. Chick-fil-A is worth the extra money, I just wish they sold burgers! This is the worst Wendy's I've ever been to by far. When I arrived to the drive thru there was 1 car in front of me ordering. When they finished I pulled and was told it would be a few minutes. I said yea mam and waited about 5 minutes. A woman began asking me for my order when I asked for a 5 dollar biggie bag she asked which kind. When I responded she started talking to someone else and said asked me to wait again. I waited about 5 more minutes when I grew impatient and said hello. A man responded angrily and said it's going to be a couple of minutes. As I had a young 2 year old child beginning to grow impatient in the back I waited about 2 more minutes. When no one said anything I left. Felt pretty obvious they didn't want to help me specifically. Thanks for the great customer service I'm sure you do that so people don't come back and you can get paid to sit there all night. Good job you're really shoving it to the man! I hope they close it down and open a place that can serve more than 1 customer in 15 minutes. read more

Service was good and fast. I did spend most of my time trying to check in and realized this location had not been reviewed yet. Oh well. Back at my computer and not at the mercy of my "smart" phone. This location is always pretty busy - that's why I was so surprised that it had not been reviewed yet. I didn't even get to check in either. Back to the review.... the dining room is usually clean and they have a Ballantyne theme going on with some golf decor and pictures of the various holes on the golf course. It does make the place feel a little out of it's element... it's still fast food with nice decorations. I did also notice that the registers are pretty new-it has a monitor so that you can see what the cashier is entering for your order. Big Con is the parking lot... it can get a little congested... add that with Charlotte drivers and BIG SUV driving suburban soccer moms... doesn't bode well for the diner who is looking for a good burger with little distractions in the parking lot. read more

This Wendy's was pretty good. They didn't get my order wrong. I usually get a jr cheeseburger or jr bacon cheeseburger/ regular chicken sandwich (no mayo) from the value menu depending on the day. I'm not really into sweets either but the smallest size frosty was just enough for me. read more

Katie took my order. After the order was finished she didn't even tell me the total so I wasn't even sure if she was done. I told her for here. After I paid I waited for my cups. I waited about 10 seconds and I asked her " can I have my 2 medium cups" she then turned to the manager and said " I'm going to the bathroom" I then asked the manager and she ignored me and my wife twice and asked the gentleman on the side of me if he needed him. It has been about a year since I visited this Wendy's because it got so bad to the point they were always forgetting something or getting the order wrong but it was correct on the screen and my receipt. Today, I made another mistake by trying them again and guess what? They left off the first item of the order...the spicy chicken sandwich. (order was the spicy chix sand, 2 large fries, 2 side salads, and 6 spicy nuggets. I hope this place goes under and is replaced with ANYTHING else. For heavens sake, increase the wages and hire some ADULTS that can read, follow directions and that give a shi... Why can't they CHECK the order BEFORE THEY SEND IT OUT. Fast food my ass. After the several months they took to remodel you would think their food would be better. The hamburger was very dry, the fries were soggy, and the tables were dirty. I am very disappointed in what I just experienced and will not return. They did not even put the new tables together correctly so they can be pushed together. This is only my third time going to this Wendys. Be sure to watch your order! The food is usually good, but: *they wouldn't give me my receipt. *All I ordered was fries and sweet tea. *They didn't put much ice in the tea and the fries only had salt on top. *When I asked for ketchup, the girl at the window wouldn't even talk to me. Another girl came to the window to ask what I wanted and gave me what I asked for. *Totally rude, and probably they planned on being jerks so they didn't want to give me the receipt. *I hope they're not racist--the women at the second window were black and I am light-skinned. There is no viable, logical reason for the poor service. *I called customer service to complain. So far, I have been on the phone for over 13 minutes and I suspect I am just in a loop. I only gave this Wendys a 2-star for the food. Their service is very questionable. *Update: after 18 minutes, the 1-888# was never answered so I looked for a non-800 # and still had to wait over 11 minutes before a rep came to the phone. Wendy's Wendy's... Over the years I have been to this location many times and with no issues. However last evening I was sincerely disappointed. It was a little after 9pm and I used the drive through to order a Spicy Chicken Sandwich. That was it, no drink, no fries. There was only 1 car ahead of me so the wait was no problem. After ordering I pulled up to the very first window and was there for 30 to 45 seconds, the person in front of me at the 2nd (pickup) window pulled away so I moved up. I got to that window and the young gentleman handed me my sandwich in a bag per usual. I was surprised by this because I had not paid yet. Another young gentleman walked up and said "he hasn't payed yet". I had my debit card in my hand and handed it to him. He turned away saying absolutely nothing looking disgruntled. A few seconds later he handed my card to me. I paused for two seconds and I said to him.. Receipt? He rolled his eyes and then begrudgingly pulled the receipt from the machine and handed it to me. He had no plans to even give it to me. So OK no big deal. I was hungry so I started to eat the sandwich on my short drive home. This was the driest, (and it was Dry!) smallest breaded chicken breast I had ever received when ordering this sandwich. It had hardly any taste to it. I was shocked because that is why I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich because it has more flavor. At this point I was already exiting the Stonecrest shopping center onto Ballantyne Commons. It was about 915 and I was not going to turn around and drive back through The Labyrinth that is the Stonecrest parking lot to ask for another one. Very disappointed! read more
