I had ordered a Single Burger meal and a Double Burger meal a little before 9pm last night 10/27/2025. When I checked the bag and handed back the 2 fry containers with barely any fries, I was instructed to pull forward. I am happy to wait for fresh food. I had also asked for a receipt. The server came out with a bag and I saw no receipt. The server offered to go get me a receipt but I felt bad being the bag should have been given me thru the window instead of making a server come out into the pouring rain when no other customers were in sight. When I got home I found that the food given me at the window had been held over for so long it was awful. Next time, hopefully, Burger King won't be closed for construction, or I'll simply go down to McDonalds where my orders are always fresh, my fries are full, and I get a receipt. read more

Stopped for a coffee out of convenience. Didn't look at the reviews prior to coming by, however, was really surprised how badly it got rated. For a fast food restaurant, the place was impeccably clean inside. None of the typical displaced condiments everywhere, dirty floors, dirty tables, dirty bathrooms. In face, it was the cleanest and most organized fast food location over seen in a very, very long time. You can tell the manager and staff take pride in what they do. We decided to grab some nuggets through the drive thru for our kiddos. The line was a little longer than normal but not too bad. We pulled up, checked out the menu and noticed they had a 2 for 5 chicken nugget deal. We decided on 6 piece nuggets and 3 of them so the kids wouldn't fight. We got to the window and the cashier was super super friendly! She saw our starbucks iced coffee in the cup holder and made it a point to tell us about Wendy's new iced coffee. She made this visit extra friendly and represents the Wendy's brand well. I've thought long and hard about this incident and it needs to be reported so here's what happened. Friday, March 6, 2020, I visited your Wendy's (#6309) establishment located 10197 US-70 Clayton, NC. I ordered two separate orders for your Baconator special of buy one Baconator and get one for $1.00 on my mobile app. I requested for them to be made plain (just meat and cheese) with the meat being cooked fresh off the grill. When I received my 4 Baconators, all were prepared fresh but had ketchup on them. I requested for a remake of all the sandwiches and over heard the manager Skip stating to the line cook that he wasn't going to waste all that meat and had him to rewrap the sandwiches I just brought back in and sent them over to the other side of the prep table for drive-thru customers. After hearing and seeing this action from your manager Skip, I stopped the young Hispanic lady working in bagging. I told her that I overheard what the manager instructed the line cook to do. I told her that I physically touched each sandwich and that rewrapping a sandwich for someone else after I have touched the same sandwiches is unsanitary and that I will file a grievance to corporate about his managing practice if he sales those sandwiches. My sandwiches was remade without condiments,but I was given burnt bacon scraps on the sandwiches. I went back to the pick up counter and asked for the bacon to be replaced. I paid for 4 Baconators that did not have the appropriate amount of bacon and looked disgusting. The manager instantly became irrate and screamed at me at the cash register stating I am not remaking your burgers over again and I'm giving you your money back I just can't satisfy you. I told him are you kidding me..I asked for full strips of bacon that I paid for and I'm the problem. Skip started, "I've literally ran out of meat and bacon because of you and all these remakes. That's literally 8 burgers that I've had to waste because of you!" Skip also stated, "No, I will not replace bacon you've already threatened to call corporate on me so I'm giving you your money back and that's final." So Skip went to the register to refund me my money and was having difficulty finding the receipts on the register. He stated, "I don't know how to do this..I just don't have time for this." So he decides to make the sandwiches himself anyway. So instead of making my burgers right and fresh he snatches all the old bacon off and put new bacon (only 2 pieces of bacon broken in half per sandwich. Note: Baconators are prepared with 6 whole strips of Applewood bacon) on while my burgers were left out in the open on the prep table. The sandwiches did not have cheese like they were supposed to and their presentation was very sloppy. He commenced to converse about me in front of the whole store and to his employees knowing I was standing an ear shot away from him. I have never felt so downgraded, disrespected, and discriminated against in my life. Skip addressed me with pure hate and venom from his tongue. He totally disregarded my position as a paying customer that deserves to be respected. I have the right to expect quality food, and to anticipate excellent customer service. I only wanted the food quality that Wendy's was founded upon by Dave Thomas. No customer should feel that their expectation of an establishment is too much or unattainable. My family travels extensively and I've never been this disappointed with a Wendy's restaurant in my life. I would like for manager Skip to be fired for his actions. No more. This past week we ordered food. Mt youngest daughter had a chicken sandwich and she realized, when she was almost done the sandwich, that the meat was different. It was like sting and rubber strands. Unfortunately the next morning she woke up at 4am throwing up and had to be taken to the hospital. The car ahead of us was waiting 15 minutes just to order, when it was our turn we waited 5 minutes just to be told we'll be right with you, it took them 15 minutes to get back to us. Once we ordered, we pulled up and saw that the car that was ahead of us was still there. We seen a man in the window laughing and talking. When it was our turn to pay and get our food he said he'd be right with us, but then we saw him outside with another employee doing who knows what. This Wendy's is always slow. Literally probably the worst Wendy's in America. Stupid slow every time (like 45 minutes in the drive thru long. Should probably fire everyone and hire two people from chick-fil-a, those two people alone could probably pump out food faster then the 8 that work here. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!! Me and my 8 children came her after we had just seen Thor love and thunder and we simply ordered 15 chicken sandwiches. When we feasted on what we though was going to be a great meal we were very disappointed. As my daughter Raleigh-may-Anne-virgin Mary was knuckles deep in the sandwich she told me that she felt a "rumble tumble fe-fi-fo tumble" in her tummy. This is the slowest Wendy's ever. Got in line 5:49, 7 cars ahead of me, people are starving to death in line, people giving up and driving away, finally got my food at 6:35. Not a typo. Why do I go here? Good question. My daughter likes the food and it is close to home. I am pretty sure it would be faster to drive to Smithfield and go to one there. Will try it next time. It is ALWAYS this slow, just the first time I timed it. I went inside and ordered one time. It was a masterclass in SLOW. Ripped off my parents on Easter!!! If I could give 0 stars I would. Tried ordering two small salads and a baconater combo. Ticket was $20. Came to the window and they got our drinks wrong and forgot one small salad. Tried saying they forgot the salad and they said we forgot to order it (which we didn't)! And then proceeded to make us pay an extra $7 for the salad that we had already ordered but they forgot about. Service was rude and not to admit the line took forever. I then find myself standing inside on line behind one person for 5 minutes so I can get the order corrected. Apart from other Wendy's that I have ordered from, this one in particular is very good. The service is friendly and they never give you the wrong order. Every time I come to this location they always some how manage to mess up my order. Today I ordered a number 4 and a baked potato and they forgot my fries that go with my meal. I didn't realize until I was half way home. Tried calling their number atleast 5-7 times to let them know and I guess their phone doesn't work? Or their employees don't know how to answer it ? Now I'm stuck waiting at there drive thru just so I can get my freaking fries. This food stop normally takes me 10 min max now I'm already down 20 min .
