To start off i was with a program and we stopped to cracker barrel on the way, ive never been to one of these before but with our group amount we were seated pretty quickly i got breaded okra steak rice and shrimp the food came out pretty quickly honestly and it wasnt too bad although i wasnt a fan of the rice as it tasted bland the okra was okay aswell as the steak which had a lot of fat but it was still pretty decent. the cornbread i believe was my biggest problem, maybe because of where im from it's different but here i did not enjoy it at all not sweet and tasted like straight grits, butter was provided with it but i just chose not to use it as i was already half full. the staff on the otherhand was phenomenal super kind and welcoming and easy to make small talk with overall the food was a 3.5/5 and id go if it were for a small quick stop

I ordered [dine-in / takeout] for Easter dinner for myself and my mom and were really disappointed. The broccoli looked overcooked/brown, the chicken tenders were chewy instead of crispy, and the meatloaf came with plain ketchup just poured on top instead of their usual baked glaze. The mashed potatoes and gravy tasted exactly like KFC's -- not bad, but not the homestyle Cracker Barrel quality we expected. Service was [whatever it was -- friendly? slow?]. For a holiday meal, this fell flat. Probably won't choose them for special occasions again." Why did the meal came with ketchup packets if it wan't on top of the Meatloaf ?

Stopped in one evening on our way to an event. Who doesn't like "brinner?" Hubby enjoyed the blueberry pancakes, bacon and eggs. I ate the fried catfish with dumplings and green beans. The catfish could have been fried for maybe 4-5 more minutes, it wasn't very crispy. It was very flavorful. No wait, so quick service. For ambiance- come on, it's Cracker Barrel ;)

When traveling on the east coast, there are the usual staples: Dennys, Perkins, Waffle House and of course Cracker Barrel. Ambience: when you first walk in, you enter a "country store", complete with souvenirs, cast iron skillets and clothing?! They are going for that little house on the prairie feel. The dining room is full of wooden countey chairs and a large fireplace. Food: comfort food. We ordered: Fried Chicken - freshly battered fried chicken. This was surprisingly moist on the inside, with a very well seasoned crunchy skin. This was a hit. 5/5 Country Fried Steak - My go to whenever I think about southern comfort food. This was flavorful, but a little dry. 4/5 Fried Apples - candied apples that are presumably fried and coated in a sweet sauce. 4/5 TL/DR: when on a long road trip, if you see a billboard for Cracker Barrel at the next exit, make that your rest stop, your tummy will thank you later.

Good food great prices some technical difficulties but they were nice about it . Lots of parking speedy waitress. Family place to come and enjoy.

Cracker barrel is still an inexpensive meal and a good road trip stop for a meal. However their portions has gotten much smaller. It's also alot less crowded these days and no wait. It won't be the best meal but it's fulling and does taste comforting. The fried chicken and roast beef are the best dishes.

Haven't been to CB in years but was so happy got to stop by this one. Got some southern fried chicken which was so good with mashed potatoes and pancakes. Everything was great. They did get my husbands order wrong twice but our waitress Isabelle was amazing! She made my iced tea just right. Not too sweet. I highly recommend

This is a great place for breakfast/brunch. The restaurant is huge and you can sign up for the waitlist online. There's also a country store in front to pass the time while you wait. The portions are generous, servers were very friendly and food came out fast.

Ale:I ordered the country fried steak with fried okra, hash brown casserole and mac and cheese. Everything tasted great and filled up my stomach real good. It was all a fair price aswell. Their ice tea was yummy and the ambiance was amazing with the tusti Alo: I ordered the chicken tenders and pancakes. The chicken tenders were okay but the pancakes made up for it. The biscuits made the trip worth while as it was super moist along with butter. The service was really nice but very speedy,

Cracker Barrel is always my go to place for a sit down family dinner. My girls love it. I love it. My partner loves it. This location was nice and clean, as you would expect. The staff was friendly, and the table didn't wobble, which isn't always a guaranteed thing. Anyway, ourfood came out really fast. Everybody was happy. Got candy on the way out, which is the way. Seriously, who can resist getting candy when leaving Cracker Barrel? It's a thing.

Who doesn't love Cracker Barrel and who doesn't stop at Cracker Barrel on a road trip?! My boyfriend and I were on our way home from our weekend getaway, and stopped here for lunch! He ordered country fried steak with a side of dumplings and bacon mac and cheese. I ordered chicken fried chicken with a side of fried apples and loaded tots. Everything delish as always! Service perfect. Everything about our lunch was amazing. Cracker Barrel is definitely always a treat and we enjoy coming here every time! Don't forget to browse around the store!

If you are looking for comfort food, Cracker Barrel won't disappoint. I grew up in the south, and there aren't any locations in NYC so anytime we travel we look for a nearby Cracker Barrel. Service was great, and food always hits the spot.

A CLASSIC. I love stopping at Cracker Barrel when I'm going on road trips! They always look exactly the same no matter which one you go to. The service is always great but the food is always the same across all Cracker Barrels. I came with a party of 7 on a Friday night and we were seated fairly quickly. We only had to wait because they had to set up the table for us but otherwise, you'd be seated immediately since they've always had tables available when I've gone. We ordered a ton - clam chowder, grilled sirloin steak, country fried steak, southern fired chicken, and grilled catfish, all of which came with 2-3 sides. They have regular sides like broccoli, fried okra, corn, collard greens and more but for a little extra, you can also get their signature sides such as the loaded hashbrown casserole tots and bacon mac and cheese. All of their entrees also come with corn bread and biscuits. The food is definitely a Southern country feel. The food is very filling, pretty heavy, but oh so very tasty! The clam chowder was veeerrryyy thick. Their fried foods are always fried perfectly, even the fried okra side! Everything was pretty heavily seasoned but still filled all my Cracker Barrel feels so it was good to me! Also, a must get side is the hashbrown casserole. It definitely is one of my favs! It's potatoes, cheese and tastiness. Definitely stop at a Cracker Barrel when you're traveling! It's such a classic road trip stop and the service is always great.

No better way to end a fun ski trip than a stop at the Barrel!

Ask the Community - Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Is there a way to pre-arrange for a group, other than maybe buses? I see it's possible to get on a wait list -- but not for more than six people. I am talking a group of 10-15. It just would beat waiting and waiting.

Call them to pre-book your arrival time and number of guests. They appreciate the heads up!

I'm not a huge fan of chicken wings, but guys... Guys... GUUUUUUYS. The chicken wings here are legit DELICIOUS. The vibe of the restaurant is just chill and relaxed. It's clean, the service is great (the server took care of drink refills without us asking, checked back with us regularly & in a timely manner, and brought the items from our order out as they were ready), and the price point is great for what you get as well. We ordered 4 different kinds of wings - Cajun, Black Cherry Pepper BBQ, Carolina Gold (the star of the show), and Hot Honey Garlic. I'm a bit of a lightweight when it comes to heat, so I didn't try the Cajun... but I loved the bit of fruit flavor from the black cherry wings, and really enjoyed the bit of spice from the hot honey. Those Carolina Gold wings though... I would come back again and again for those alone. Consider me a chicken wing convert, I guess! ALSO... I almost forgot that we have the buffalo chicken eggrolls as an appetizer. Perfectly crunchy outer eggroll with delicious buffalo chicken inside. I'm not a bleu cheese gal (blasphemy with buffalo chicken, but I don't care), and the server brought a little side of ranch out for us to dip our eggrolls in. *chef's kiss* TL;DR GO. FOR. THE WINGS. Seriously... you're missing out if you don't. Get a bunch of flavors, share with friends (or eat them yourself - I won't judge), and wallow in the sauce-y goodness.

The sweetest and most beautiful bartender was an absolute angel getting our drinks and food! Extremely conscientious and attentive during busy moments! Today (7/25) we stopped in to have lunch with family who are local on our way back to NC. The spiedes were really sloppy and so saturated the bread was mushy. The 12 inch original my husband and I were sharing was super saturated. Unfortunately one of the chunks of chicken was served raw in the middle and I ate a bite out of it before I noticed the raw inside. I took the piece to the employee working the to go counter and she offered to remake our order and refunded by husband's card. I appreciate the business making it right. This lovely lounge did not disappoint. When I walked through the old doors, I entered a unique atmosphere with a mix of old timey and retro punk vibes. Served in the perfect glass, the Collins was definitely a balance of flavors. Since the vodka rigatoni is what peaked my curiosity, that is what I ordered. It was phenomenal. We came towards the end of the lunch rush (1-2PM?) and were seated immediately. The ambiance is hip and buzzy, with lots of colorful decor. The menu had some very tempting options, even for vegetarians. We started with the buffalo brussel sprouts, a stroke of genius. I'd never thought about dousing this tasty veggie in hot sauce and blue cheese, but it makes sense. This was a very tasty app, and the sprouts were roasted perfectly with crispy outer skins which provided the crunch needed for a good buffalo dish. The special that day was some kind of french dip sandwich which one of my dining companions got. Another one got a cajun catfish sandwich and graciously offered me a bite. It was flavorful. For my main, I got the spring roll bowl and decided to add tofu. It had noodles, peanuts, a sweet thai chili sauce, and lots of veggies. It was MASSIVE. Prices are a little high but the portions definitely made it worth it. I could have taken half home as leftovers if I'd wanted. The restaurant also has a coffee bar which we decided last minute to partake in instead of venturing out into the rain to find a different cafe. This was such a convenient option because we didn't have to fight to find parking or brave the weather to go to a second location. I did a pistachio latte. Someone else at my table got a Mexican hot chocolate. I treated myself to the homemade whipped cream. The coffee hit the spot. Throughout the whole experience the staff was wonderful. Our food came out quickly, and the servers were very friendly and joking with us. I'd come back if I was in the area.
