For me, Wendy's is a breakfast destination or chicken sandwiches for lunch. Not necessarily a big fan of their burgers. The one thing that I really like about Wendy's is that they have pretty good customer service overall regardless of the location. Drive-thru ordered a burger with no ketchup and add mustard. Repeated the order twice. Got a burger with cheese deleted and ketchup slathered on. "Ketchup" and "cheese" don't sound at all alike. The food was fresh, which was nice, but for $40-plus for three people to eat fast food it would be nice if you could at least get the order right. Also we were given two napkins for three people, and I had to ask for a receipt. Made a pit stop here to take a break from the traffic. It's conveniently located off the highway but it's challenging to find since it's tucked away off the busy street. I love Wendy's and I often pick up a cheeseburger deluxe when I'm out shopping to curve my cravings. This location has much to be desired, we didn't realize until we went to look for a table after ordering but the place was DIRTY! I try to be somewhat nice but the employees here just lacked enthusiasm. I felt as if they had no training, they would take one order at a time. There was a line of ten plus customers and they had no care in the world. I almost felt as if it was done intentionally so that customers would leave. I recommend going to the Wal Mart McD's! This is all about the service, french fries, and Frostys. My sons and I stopped by here after a Walmart run for my son to enjoy his first Frosty. I ordered a medium Frosty, thinking we could split it and asked for an extra cup. The cashier was extremely friendly and offered to just fill a junior cup of Frosty for him to enjoy and didn't charge me for it. That left an entire cup of Frosty for me to enjoy by myself, which was both wonderful and terrible! It was so thick I could eat it easily with a spoon, as well as a perfect blend of light chocolate flavor. It was like deja vu of my Frosty-eating experiences as a child. We also ordered some fries to dip in the Frosty. Their current special is any size fry for $1. We got a small and it came with more fries than we could eat for this afternoon treat. They were a little too salty for my taste. While the service was friendly, the interior of this Wendy's could definitely use a makeover. Its style seemed like the Wendy's of my childhood, as opposed to the trendy, modern updates I've seen at most fast food places these days. All in all, this is a quick pit stop if you're shopping in the plaza, and there's plenty of parking. I greatly appreciated their thoughtfulness towards my young son. read more

The entire restaurant was closed at around 7:00 a.m. on Friday, 12/30/22. They were supposed to open at 6:30 a.m. The door was locked and there was no one inside, not even any employees. The drive thru was also closed. Really bad! I highly recommend that people instead go across the street to either Jack in the Box or Starbucks. Both establishments were open while Wendy' screwed the pouch big time. The owner deserves to lose the franchise. Shame on Wendy's corporate for allowing this type of behavior to persist without taking immediate strong action to correct the situation. read more

So I'm riding my bicycle around town and think "hey, how about a milkshake?" Hop off the bike, and run inside for a Frosty. I order one chocolate. "What size?" asks the cashier. "Um..." as I'm looking at the menu to see which sizes there are. "SMALL, MEDIUM, or LARGE" says the obviously ill-tempered cashier in an impatient tone. Hesitantly, I order a small and take it to go. Dear Wendy's guy: Please make note of the fact that other places have limited selections. In-N-Out had one size on the menu, but you could order a big one anyways. There was a taller ginger Hispanic guy working the counter on a Sunday. He greeted us and answered some of my annoying questions. He wasn't overly friendly and didn't come across fake, but his customer service was real and he went above and beyond with helping my mom and I. He reminded me of myself when i was younger and working customer service. I made every experience unique and that's what he did. He offered my mom some hot chilli to wake up from the cold. This kid deserve a raise! He's going places. It's a shame I didn't get his name. read more

I looked up this place before coming since it said it opened at 7:30 after waiting in line behind people for 7-8 minutes at the speaker I eventually pulled forward to the windows to see people working. One the lady's opens the window just barely enough to tell me they open at 8. I'm usually never someone to write reviews but this place is always subpar. The part that is worse is that when I pulled it it was more of "hey your speaker isn't working" but I got a rude response that they don't open till 8. The food came out hot and fresh However the negative experience came due to not being given any sweet and sour sauce for my chicken nuggets,ketchup for fries, or sour cream and butter for my baked potato. The employee told me they has put everything in there. However they did not put anything. I ended over paying for a dry potato and dry nuggets and dry fries since they did not give me any sauces. I also had a negative experience because the soda they had prepared for me had more soda outside and around the cup, then inside. It was literally dripping and wet. Today, I as well as three other customers had to walk out. We were standing in line forever; not moving, with eight people ahead of us. There was one cashier and he had to not only ring up the customers; but do all the prep work for filling drinks, bagging the stuff together, getting the french fries and everything else involved in putting together an order. It's like this every time I go in there for lunch. One person doing all the work of two people and the line gets longer and longer. The drive-through line had 8 cars in line. I think they were spending more time assisting at that window instead of customers inside the restaurant. After my last five visits in the past; I must say, it is always this way with one clerk at the front counter doing the work of two people. You don't get good customer service from fast food nowadays but when I came to this Wendy's for a quick stop, I was grateful to have excellent customer service from this high school kid named Samuel. I think its nice to see hard-working teenagers who try their best even though it may just be a part-time job to get by. So props to you Samuel! This is the worst Wendy's ever. I called to ask if they had the new strawberry frosty. The man on the phone was rude and rushed but informed me that they did have the new flavor. When I got to the Wendy's drive thru the girl seemed confused. When I asked for the strawberry frosty listed on their menu I was told that they don't have it. I ordered the veggie burger (veggie stack) that I had seen on the Wendy's website, what i got was a regular cheeseburger without a beef patty. I assume that the veggie burger isn't available at this location, had they told me that i wouldn't have paid $5.99 for that sad excuse for a sandwich. I just went to this location in Dixon and my food and drinks were perfect, the girl that took my order and payment was super friendly, my only complaint is THE MANAGER, older man grey hair with glasses, this man kept yelling at this poor girl that was doing everything she can taking orders making drinks charging customers handing out drinks. Have again: Excellent $0.99 Classic Frosty! Not have again: the Son of Baconater was good with very good bacon, but had no lettuce or tomato (I should have asked).
