OMG! No soap in the women's restroom! 7 am on a Saturday! July 18, 2026. There were 2 dispensers. I asked the manager and was told they are out of soap! What?? That is NOT ACCEPTABLE! And they said just use the hand sanitizer in the dining room. Well both of those were empty too. So I asked them to refill but who knows if they even had that to refill. Manager lady apologized that she couldn't let me into the kitchen to wash my hands, but all I wanted was some soap. Who knows if they even had soap at all? My order was to-go and I took the food to my car. Found out no spoon to eat my oatmeal. So I went back inside and asked for a spoon. The employee reached for a spoon at their station and found the spoon bin was empty, he had to go to another station to get a spoon. Its annoying you have to order at the kiosk and not with a live person but I figured it out. But my receipt did not print out so I had no idea what my number was. My natural instinct is to spit it out assuming it might be chicken tendon or something (I don't like tendon). Dixon is about 45 minutes from Roseville. Have not yet experienced receiving the wrong order and food is usually made fresh and not sitting out. Occasionally we would get a team member in training so a bit slow but, we've all been there at some point in our working careers so just have to exercise a little patience. Many businesses are in desperate need of people who are willing to work. The dining room is clean and modern. Yesterday, my family and I had the worst experience at McDonald's drive-thru in Dixon. I wasted my money in the cheapest and non-quality fast food ever. We ordered a Spicy Deluxe Chicken sandwich, a bunch of chicken nuggets and lots of French fries (see the attached receipt). The Spicy Deluxe Chicken was a mess, there was so much spicy-mayo sauce in my chicken sandwich that you could say it was the muddiest sandwich ever; even sauce in the outside of the sandwich box/package. All the fries were so greasy that it ruined my taste by the first bite (see the photo). I threw them in the trash. I meant to have a nice McDonald time with my family, instead, the McDonald's food became a huge disappointment. So we stopped at this McDonald's on the way to the Bay Area traveling from Lake Tahoe. Kids were hungry and needed to hit the head. Though most of my life I didn't even consider going to McDonald's. After traveling the country with kids, needing a place for the kids to play, Playland in McDonald's It's always a much-needed stop so the kids can run around and scream. Now the prices keep us coming back with their dollar menu and Dollar drinks. The price has increased however. Just a few weeks ago it was one McChicken for one dollar, now it is two McChicken's for three dollars. Still one of the best values around. 12 McChicken's, a Mc double, two side salads and seven drinks for $33. Seven people for $33 that's a good deal. Not a wholesome however active kids enough to get them through till dinner.. I am not sure if this is a new trend, however this McDonald's was really nice. Lots of questioned seeds, even a long couch. Very comfortable and stylish. We will definitely stop here again passing through to the bay area. read more

I just tried going through the drive thru. I wanted to pay with a $100 bill which the cashier refused because her till had just been serviced and she didn't have change. I asked if she could get change from another register and she refused. She told me I could go to one of the inside registers as I sat in my car in the drive through! I guess some people haven't taken notice: it's still McDonald's. It's a brand new facility, as they tore the old building down to the foundation so it looks all fancy-schmancy. It's still McDonald's. Maybe other locations are doing the same- it feels like a video game. I wanted a small frappe thing and the price kept changing. They highlighted a size, showed the price for a few seconds, then it changed. Only three sizes so the price of a small came back every ten seconds or so. Seemed unnecessary. For the old school ordering, you can speak with a real live human. OR you can order/pay via touchscreen, cell phone app, or apparently at the table. Kinda miss the plastic feel that I've associated with McDonald's for, well, ever. The drive-thru is a multi-lane (really?) fiasco and I'm scared to even try it...which is fine because there's really no occasion for me to ever try it. Last weekend at McDonald's I got a 6 piece chicken nugget happy meal with extra fries and chocolate milk. The nuggets were pretty good and crispy. The fries were pretty good as well. And the chocolate milk was very good too. In the happy meal I got Pokémon cards and I got some good ones (Blissey, Pawmi, Kirlia, and Klawf). And the food arrived pretty quick too. I asked for a caramel macchiato that's warm not hot. They brought me an ice coffee after 15 mins - why did it take 15 minutes for one coffee when no one was there except for the five workers??? I eat breakfast and lunch here twice a week, driving a truck back and forth between the Bay Area and Sacramento.. Lunchtime can be busy here, but I've never had to wait more than a few minutes for my order. The staff here seems very friendly and competent. Plenty of room nearby for big trucks. Plenty of parking in the parking lot., and it has a double drive through. I've been coming here for 4 years, and have rarely had a problem with my order.
