This location is however incredibly popular and the drive-through line sometimes wraps around the whole restaurant making parking actually quite difficult and getting back out again a little difficult, so maybe avoid peak lunch or dinner time.

This is one of those spots you love to patronize because the people are very friendly, the food is good, and it's not going to break your wallet. My kids love this place and anytime we are on that side of the free bridge it's nearly an automatic that we are stopping in. My one son and I even walked across once during bacon fest because we knew how close we were and wanted to grab one. I love getting dogs with red onions and the ones here are different, but good. Everyone makes them different but these are less sauced and a little less seasoned than I'm used to. Still enjoyable. The one thing I will say that I don't love here is they just toss a slice of American under the dog if you get a chili cheese dog. Would definitely prefer a cheese sauce or finely shredded cheddar on there. Just a preference thing. We will be coming here as long as they're slinging dogs. When he got home, he discovered that the item he ordered for himself was not in the bag. Ironically, this was not the first time that this has happened when we ordered at this particular restaurant. I told him to drive back to the restaurant (as I had done the other times when they left stuff out of our bag), but the restaurant is 30 minutes away and he didn't feel like driving back there after a long day at work. Since this has happened to us on more than one occasion at this restaurant, I contacted Popeye's corporate. They offered us 600 rewards points "that you can use immediately on an upcoming order!" No thanks. Instead, I asked them to issue a refund to my son's credit card for the cost of the sandwich he never received. The customer service rep said he would send the request to the store, but "as a reminder, our restaurants are franchisee-operated, and they hold the right to approve or deny refunds at their discretion." That was the last time I heard from Corporate or the franchisee and no refund was ever sent. So now they've lost a customer. Looking at some of the previous reviews for this location, I see that we're not the only ones who have had food missing from their orders. I once owned a franchise (in a different service) and when a customer had a complaint, I did my best to correct the issue. I didn't ignore it. But that's what this owner chose to do. So now they've lost our business. And based on their lack of response to my issue, I'm sure they don't care.

They were replacing some of the items on the steam table. I got my favorite yellow rice with pigeon peas and roasted pork. I asked if they have the crunchy pork skin. She said everyone asks for that but they don't have it. I think if everyone asks, maybe they should offer it. I also asked for "a few" plantains for my platter and she gave me ONE. Oh well, the food is consistently on point, the price point is reasonable, and it's roomy and accommodating for dining in.
