Food was excellent! Homemade patties and dressed perfectly. Highly recommend. Small space but perfect for a beer on tap and a burger.

1st visit this weekend. We sat outside with our doggo - thankfully winter temps were just barely within reason to do that. Tried their mushroom, Swiss, & onion burger (subbed mayo for the bbq sauce though). The burger was large and very delicious. Prices were reasonable (especially considering the high beef prices right now). Also tried the fried mushrooms as a side (they provided some ranch dressing to dip it in upon asking). My husband had the chicken Philly that came with bbq sauce on it too (he said he'd try it again but prob would omit the bbq sauce next time). Before we left I saw a bunch of people leaving with milkshakes and I got one for us to share - I tried a mix of chocolate and peanut butter (it was good, maybe not "remarkable", but not bad at all). Pops has decent food, but the prices are getting out of hand. I was charged $10 for a bacon, egg and cheese, and this isn't New York City. I will be updating this review to reflect a burger I had here that was incredible but this review alone is based on the cheesesteak. The cheesesteak here comes standard with American Cheese, Onions, and Peter Luger sauce. I am normally not a fan of any sauces on my cheesesteak but I truly enjoy Luger sauce so I decided to give this a try in the way they suggested it. The woman who took the order was friendly. This is a gas station/food locale with beer taps inside and cans for sale as well. A few tables, and a lot of takeout business. So to start I will say that the roll they use for this cheesesteak is very good for a steak. I'm not sure where they source them from but I enjoyed that a lot. The steak seems to just be a frozen chip steak which is alright, many places use a product like that. This is a personal preference thing, but I believe this steak was chopped up a bit too much, and there was American just laying on the bun un-melted which was upsetting as well. I actually found the Luger sauce to be good on this, and I even added pickles to it which I never do. I know it's a big valley thing to do sauce/pickles so maybe the Luger sauce and pickles went well together for that reason...but I enjoyed that. That's really it though. I wanted to love this steak, and it certainly wasn't bad, but I think I'll probably just be sticking to the burgers here from now on. This place is awesome lunch or dinner sandwiches, cheesesteaks, hand cut French fries. This is a really casual dining option of 78 at a gas station. You can sit inside or outside. You order at the counter and your food comes out hot and fresh. The staff is amazing, friendly and efficient! I love hoagies, smash burgers and especially hot cheeseballs! Def a must. Ate here after driving from nyc to handle business and was really surprised that a gas station type tap room had such great food. The service was easy and there was a little miscommunication on the order but it was rectified immediately. The decor was clean and so was the bathroom. They earned every star, from service, to a really cook and unique ambiance with both indoors and outdoor seating. Both people helping us were friendly and quick to help. I tried their house lager (yessir you heard that right) which reminded me of millers lager but more flavor, and there was another 11 types on tap. I had the pulled pork sandwich which I have to say was a 10/10. I'd recommend get the fries because there is plenty of pulled pork beyond what's the sandwich needs. I alerted the staff of a minor men's restroom minor issue. They were Jonny on the spot and took care of it with a smile ! They weren't offended by my attention to details. The have a fine restaurant and deserve an excellent rating for a fine establishment. The good: pretty good food for an out of the way small restaurant located at...a gas station. The bad: went there twice to order sandwiches past week. Complete incompetence!! The location is off the highway attached to a gas station a little sketchy in my opinion, so if you're looking for a sit down restaurant with a waiter-this isn't the spot but they do have a wide selection of craft beers, bar seats and table seats as well. Pop's is just off the first exit into PA on I-78 from NJ, or the last exit in PA going to NJ. There is a large sign off the highway so you can't miss it. I've gone to Pop's a number of times for six packs, or cold cuts, but never to get pre-made food before. We got two sandwiches - two Sloppy Tom's, one on whole wheat bread and the other on a Hoagie Roll. They put coleslaw and Russian dressing on it making them very sloppy. We also had some of their house-made macaroni salad. While we waited, there is a small bar and about a dozen small tables. We sat at the bar and tried a few of the beers they have on tap. The turkey was very fresh as was both the lettuce and tomato. The bread was good. The roll was not a crusty as I'd like but that was probably due to the Russian dressing. While we waited we watched them make other sandwiches, cold and hot. I've heard great things about their burgers. Watching them make them made me wonder if I had made the right choice. Maybe I did and maybe I didn't. But, I did really enjoy my sandwich. And, having had their macaroni salad before, I knew it to be probably the best I've had anywhere. They did not disappoint. This place is great. Do yourself a favor if you are in the area. Go there. If you need anything else, they are also a gas station and have a convenience store. I was disappointed that I didn't ask for the tarter sauce on the side. This is a small diner-ish Location right off of interstate 78 north bound. I had a made to order hoagie that was huge! It was made with boars head meat all the Fixin's, and it was so big that I had to take the other half with me, my partner had the cheesesteak, and it also was ginormous with a lot of meat and cheese. First impression based on customer service was seriously lack luster. That's too bad...based on the amazingness of their burgers, I would have snuck in another star. This used to be my stop when going to NY or NJ. I always enjoyed the food and found it to be a clean and friendly establishment. (Although it has not been quite as good the last year or two as it used to be) That was before today. The fellow claiming to be the owner thrust a mask (bare handed) at me. When I told him that I cannot wear one, he demanded to know why. Well, that is a violation with up to $75,000 penalty. So I repeated that I cannot wear a mask, to which he said that, "it is the law.". Nope. Wrong again. And I guess I could have pointed out that at least one of his employees did not have a mask on while preparing food. But no problem.
